GENERAL INSTRUCTION All Supply, Fabrication, Erection, Construction, Testing works shall be performed as per AFC Drawings, Project Specifications, Project Standards, General Notes, Indian Codes, etc.,

Dismantling of RCC in Structures/Buildings Collecting, Shifting and Storage of Dismantled material at designated place including Scaffolding, Barricading and other safety measures. RCC dismantling work includes cutting the rebars, demolition of columns, beams , slabs , screed , finishing layer, floors , staircases, precast slabs, dykes, basins, pits, cross overs, grating / chequered plate covers, rungs, insert plates, lean concrete, misc pipe or E & I supports attached to the RCC walls / slabs / beams / columns, conduits, electrical wirings, fitting / fixtures, wood works, if any. Note for Measurement : 1. Actual measured quantity volume (length x width x height (or depth) ) 2. Measurement of Staircase shall be taken as : length of staricase at its central line from the one floor to next floor x width of straircase x thickness of staircase soffit slab. 3. Where dismantling is done for the beam and slab together , measurement of slab (L xW x thickness ) shall only be taken . For simplication of measurement and accounting for the beams and columns head, quantity of such slab shall be increased by 40 %. The bidder should factor their rate acccordingly . 4.Measurement for the isolated beams in RCC portal ( without attached slab) shall be taken as actual 5. slab/ floor thickness shall be inclusive of tiles and the finishing layer over the slab if any .

Dismantling of brick walls , partition walls in Buildings, Collecting, Shifting and Storage of Dismantled material at designated place including Scaffolding, Barricading and other safety measures. Brick work demolition (brick, hollow / solid blocks- full or half brick walls) work includes dismantling of doors, windows, ventilators, partitions, jolly works, grill works, rolling shutters, conduits, electrical wirings, fitting / fixtures, wood works, if any, skirting, dadoing, tiles, stone cladding, etc, which are associated with brick walls. Note for Measurement : 1. Actual quantity measured in sq.m (length x height) including doors,windows,ventiloators etc., included in the Area measurement. 2. No deduction shall be made for the opening of door, windows,and ventilators in the wall 3. Doors , windows,ventilator frame and panels shall be removed properly from the wall before demolition of wall and placed at designated area. 4. No seprate payment shall be made for removal / shifting of Doors , windows,ventilator frame and panel. Rate for such activities shall be included in this item 5. Rate for demolition of RCC lintel, sill , window chajja shall be included in this item only. No seprate measurement shall be taken for these.

Building Flooring demolition includes RCC / PCC floor slab, floor finish, Flase flooring, screeds, tiles, marbles, trenches, if any in the floor, chequered plate / grating cover, insert plates, any pipe or E & I supports attached, etc. Plinth filling quantities in buildings includes the items over FGL only, including sand, backfill, rubble soling/ Murrum/Gravel filling etc. Note for Measurement : Actual quantity of Flooring Area ( Carpet Area) / Plinth filling (Fill Area x height)

Dismantling of concrete for above ground only by using dry cutting diamond blades, arranging all labours, supervisors, tools, tackles, consumables, scaffolding etc complete in all respects and to the satisfaction of Engineer-in charge. Contractor needs to take approval of cutting plane from Engineer In Charge before dismantling.

Loading, disposal and unloading of all kinds of debris materials through dumper /trailer, generated during dismantling of building and structures outside the NRL refinery and NRMT premises beyond NRL exit gate on per MT per KM basis. Debris to be suitably covered at the top to minimize spreading of dust during transportation. Also following to be considered by Contractor while quoting the unit rate for this item. a). For the purpose of measurement, zero distance shall be reckoned from disposal area outside the Refinery premises to the nearest Exit gate of the Refinery/NRMT. b). Distance (in KM)of disposal of each location to be agreed with Engineer in Charge and recorded before starting of disposal to that location. Fraction of KM to be rounded off to the nearest whole number. c).Disposal Quantity = MT of the debris materials disposed beyond Refinery premises X Distance of disposal location in KM as defined in point(a) above d). The estimated Quantity for this item is assuming disposal location is at a distance of 1KM outside the NRL refinery exit gate. If this distance changes, quantity will also change accordingly.

Loading, disposal and unloading of all kinds of debris materials

Dismantling and Reinstallation of Existing PEB shed as per instructions of Engineer In Charge (EIC) by using salvagable items such as steel structures, Roof & Wall Sheet, doors and windows, down take pipes etc. Providing required necessary accessories like fasteners and application of touch up painting if required are included in Bidders scope includibg manpower , machineries, scaffolding and non shrink grout into the new shed etc. Measurement shall be done based on the area of Reinstalled building in Square Meters(SQM)

RCC Concrete work: Providing and laying in situ Reinforced Cement Concrete of M30 grade (design mix)using 20 mm and down size graded stone aggregates including providing pockets / shear keysduring concreting, vibrating, tamping curing addition of plasticizers, including bi-polar corrosion inhibitors, and rendering if required to give a smooth and even surface etc.The scope of work includes Excavation, dewatering, compaction, PCC, Form Work, fixing of Anchor Bolts in position and any other work required to complete the job as per directions of Engineer-in-charge. Re-bar shall be paid separately. Measurement shall be done based on finished concrete in Cubic Meter (CUM)

Reinforcement Steel: Supplying & placing in position TMT / or Equivalent (Reinforcement conforming to IS-1786, Grade Fe-500D) for all type of RCC structures including cleaning, decoiling, cutting, bending to required shape and lengths, binding as per drawing and details, binding with 16 SWG black soft annealed binding wire supplying and straightening, placing with proper cover block, support chairs, overlaps, spacers, etc. complete in all respect as directed by EIC. Payment will be made as on length basis (actual or theoretical as per drg. whichever is less) and converted into weight by using standard IS coefficient (rolling margins, wastages, couplings, welded joints, spacer bars, stays, hangers, annnealed steel wire or other methods of binding and placing shall not be measured and not paid separately. Only authorised laps and chairs shall be measured and paid) Measurement shall be in Metric Ton (MT)

Supplying, fabricating and fixing in position anchor bolts, foundation bolts Grade IS 2062 Grade BR (bolt assembly supplied by contractor ) in line & level as per drawing complete including application of grease and covering with plastic cover. (Necessary templetes, handling & positioning is in scope of civil Sub-contractor for fixing bolts & quoted rates includes the same)

Dismantling of electrical cables, collecting, Shifting and Storage of Dismantled material at designated places including Scaffolding, Barricading and other safety measures. This dismantled items include removal of all types of cables like power, control, fibre optics etc.
