Note 1 :- Item No 1.00 to 6.00. (a) All attending to complaint/break down calls when called upon. Repair/replacement of microprocessor control if installed. Reporting the healthiness of the plant and suggesting improvements (if any) (b)The work will be carried out either by Voltas personnel or its authorized sub- contractors as directed by Voltas. (c) This scheme does not cover damage to equipment / ancillaries or failure due to environmental conditions and due to contaminated / hard water, these items shall be measured and paid separately under respective schedule. (d) Each plant will be tested in the presence of GE, Engineer-in- Charge and rep of the user unit. (e) The test results shall be recorded and shall be preserved duly signed by the contractor, GE, Engineer-in- Charge and rep of the user unit. (f) The contractor shall get the sample of all the materials approved from Engr-in-charge. (g) The material procured and brought at site by the contractor shall be got approved from Engr-in- Charge. (a) Clean water strainers. (b) Check & repair the earth connection and fuses. (c) Clean the condenser and other equipments. (d) Check & repair for leakage of gas exterior).

(e) Clean the controls. (f) Clean all the air filters. (g) Check & repair compressor oil for discoloration or contamination. (h) Check & repair starting and running current and voltage while running. (j) Check & repair the insulation resistance valve. (k) Defrost cooling coil, close suction line slowly and note the efficiency. (l) Check & repair leak in the seal of shaft. (m) Check & repair leak LP and HP cut-outs i.e. 5 lbs/inch2 for LP and 150 lbs/inch2 for HP. (n) Check & repair expansion valves. (o) Check & repair for entire system with the help of water & soap. (p) Clean the drip tray with water. (q) Check & repair the condition of blower fans, shafts and its direction of rotation. (r) Check & repair the ducting condition. (s) Check & repair the working of the plants and limits of vibration and noise (t) Check & repair suction and delivery of the compressor and its efficiency. (u) Clean the condenser with compressed air, brush and water carry out pressure test at 250 psi of CO2 for any leaks. (v) Dismantle the weather make chamber by removing duct connections and opening the return air box, clean the evaporator coil, drip tray, ducting and repair the return air box (if required) , paint the system and re-install the same. (w) Overhaul the blower motor including cleaning of runners. (x) Check & repair the service valves for wear. (y) Overhaul the compressor motor and starter (z) Clean the intacts of LP/HP switches. (aa) Check & repair and adjust the alignment of belts and their tension. (ab) Check & repair the wiring and all the connections including meggering. (ac) Complete test for leaks. (ad) Check & repair thermostatic switch and clean the contacts (ae) water cooled system/water line cleaning & painting incl cooling tower (af) all pump any size overhauling and repairing /replacement of unserviceable gland / shaft/ bearing/ gland cupling complete (ag) Cooling tower cleaning with Scrapper (ah) Cleaning of water cooled chiler

M & L for cleaning condenser tubes of under mentioned central AC plant by disconnecting the condenser from the system , cleaning by descaling pump of suitable capacity of 110 feet head using descaling solution of make MAIC/ HIBIRDOY, Hydrolic acid 20% cleaning the system through cooling tower including water pipe line complete by using descaling system , cleaning condenser tubes by Nylon brushes by descaling water pressure pump and mild steel road of suitable size renewal of section water filter for the 11 x 3 = 33 TR Central AC plant (location-IT section). Note:- (i) T&P such as pump tubes etc and descaling solution etc shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost). (ii) cleaning gate valve Butter fly and gaskit etc by opening and reassembling at the same position for the proper functioning of plant is also included above said work.
