Excavating over areas, not exc 1.5 m deep and getting out in soft and loose soil, complete, all as directed.

Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting with power roller exc 8 tonne but not exc 12 tonne, complete, all as specified & directed.

Moorum/Red bajari filling in layers of spread thickness 100mm and rolling it to required gradient and camber with 8 to 10 tonne roller,complete, all as specified & directed.

M&L for Soling (or sub base), spread thickness 200mm with broken boulders or quarried stone, interstices filled, surface formed and rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber, complete, all as specified & directed.

M&L for 150mm thick (in 2 layers of 75mm thick each, compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated with 8 to 10 ton power road roller to gradient and camber required using granite, trap or basalt stone, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of WBM surfacess by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a tack coat with paving bitumin (VG-10) @ 10 Kg per 10 sqm and laying 40 mm thick (consolidated thickness) semi dense asphaltic concrete with 5.5% binder content, laid with mechanical paver rolled and compacted to required comber and gradient with pneumatic roller, complete all as specified and directed. Note: Mix shall be prepared in Hot mix plant as per job mix formula obtained from authorised testing lab and laying will be done by mechanical paver.

M&L for providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete, all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS-3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction and accordance with manufacturers specifications, complete, all as specified and directed.

Excavating in trenches, not exc 1.5 m wide and not exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation etc or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft and loose soil, complete, all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8, type D-2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundation, filling and mass concrete and under floor as in sub base, complete, all as specified and directed.

M&L for brick work with sub class 'B' bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6m mean radius with old size bricks built in cement mortar 1:6, complete, all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4, type B-0 using 12.5 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in channel/benching of manhole, drain, laid to shape and slope, surface finished even and smooth using extra cement including necessary formwork, complete, all as specified and directed.

M&L for reinforced cement concrete pipe 300 mm bore pipe, class NP3 laid, trusted and jointed with collers as per SSR part-I, clause 18.74.4, complete, all as specified and directed.

M&L for concrete bed for 300mm in PCC 1:3:6, type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate to drain pipes including packing under and completely surrounding the pipes with concrete after they are laid and tested, complete, all as specified and directed.

M&L for 15mm thick cement plastering in cement mortar (1:4) on other than fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces, finished even & smooth without using extra cement, complete, all as specified & directed.

Returning, filling in, including, spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick soft/loose soil, all as specified & directed.

Removing excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point soft /loose soil,complete, all as directed.
