Excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. or for cable laying or water supply pipes lines etc or not exceeding 10 sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in soft/ loose/ hard/ dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material (soils) not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point

Taking up cast iron water mains (including all fittings), 200 mm nominal size, with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking up cast iron water mains (including all fittings), 150 mm nominal size, with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking up cast iron water mains (including all fittings), 100 mm nominal size, with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking up cast iron water mains (including all fittings), 80 mm nominal size, with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying & laying in trenches 200 mm nominal dia ductile iron pressure pipe for water mains, centrifugally cast, spigot and socket ends (for push on joints), class K7 in any length , conforming to IS 8329-2000, outside shall be zinc coated with finishing layer of black bitumen/blue epoxy coating duly ISI marked,complete all as specified and as directed. Note- Rubber gasket joints (push on joints) shall be measured and paid separately.

Supplying & laying in trenches 150 mm nominal dia ductile iron pressure pipe for water mains, centrifugally cast, spigot and socket ends (for push on joints), class K7 in any length, conforming to IS 8329-2000, outside shall be zinc coated with finishing layer of black bitumen/blue epoxy coating duly ISI marked, complete all as specified and as directed. Note- Rubber gasket joints (push on joints) shall be measured and paid separately.

Surface dressing not exceeding 15 cm deep in soft/ loose soil, and rubishes to a distance not exe 50m including spraying pesticides to control the grass growth complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of the existing valve chamber and M & L for construction of new valve chamber of size 900 mm X 900 mm X 900 mm including necessary earth work in any type of soil, 100 mm thk PPC foundation (1:3:6) type C-2 40 mm grade stone aggregate as in base concrete, brick work in CM 1:6 with 10 mm thick plaster internally and 15 mm thick externally in CM 1:4, 4 mm thick MS cover with hinges and locking arrangement fixed to angle iron frame made out of 40 mm X 40 mm X 6 mm MS angles complete with 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide prime on all metal works & three coats of white wash on all plastered surfaces of valve chambers complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparation of old painted steel surfaces of any description, over 10 cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for precast cement concrete M10 (Nominal Mix) using 20 mm nominal size graded crushed stone aggregate in window or door cills, lintels, bressumers, steps, quoin blocks (for use with masonry), string courses, copings. kneelers, apex stones, pier caps, columns, posts, boundary pillars, bed plates, pintle blocks, ancho-rage blocks, bonders (for stone walling). corbels, brackets, etc. (of any section indicated), with plain fair faces, including chamfers, weatherings, throating etc. and setting in cement mortar (1:4) complete with joints to match complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for plastering 10 mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces (on vertical surfaces) in cement mortar 1:4 finished even and fair complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Burning out lead joint in position, including removing old lead to store, etc and keeping in safe custody for reuse fo CI pipe 150 mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying cast iron specials or ductile iron pressure pipe lines specials for spigot socketed pipes such as bends (any type radius and angle), tapers any type (straight, bends, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc.), tee pieces, single branch, 'Y' junction, double branch, cross (all sockets or socket and spigot), collars, caps and plugs suitable for bore of pipe up to 200 mm complete all as specified and as directed. Note- Rubber gasket joints (push on joints) for spigot/sockets ends shall be measured and paid separately.
