M&L for taking down transformers mounted on two/four pole structure or on platform / indoor floor mounted carefully from their position after removing electrical connection, earthing leads etc, for executing necessary comprehensive preventive maintenance as well repairs necessiated, includidng to and fro transporting to MES store yard/contactor wksp, and refixing after execution of maint/repair to their original position or to other location as directed of capacity as under: -

Step down transformer 11 KV/0.433 KV of any make of capacity 63 KVA to 160 KVA.

All as per srl item no 1.01 but capacity exceeding 160 KVA but n.exc 500 KVA

Labour, tools & plants only for opening the top cover of transformer out/in door type, step down 11 KV/0.433 KV of cap 50 KVA to 160 KVA, lifting of core and winding, draining out transformer oil into container and keep a side for treatment and reuse, carry out strip inspection of core and windings for comprehensive routine, preventive maint and any other necessary repairs reqd to be executed. Refitting the core & windings after carry out necessary routine maint/preventive maint or repairs so ordered, making all electrical connections, providing sundry items i.e bolts, nuts & washers, reassembling the transformer complete, including testing and commissioning to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge, complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per srl item No 2 here-in-above but transformer of cap exceeding 160 KVA but not exc 500 KVA. Note for srl item No 2 & 3 above: Preventive maint/repairs so assed shall be measured and paid for separately under the respective item of sch 'A' here-in-after. However the rates quoted under col 5 of sch 'A' are deemed to include for all type of checks to be conducted to asses the repairs and preventive maint, dismantaling, lifting, core with winding, relowering of core with winding refitting of transformer, making electrical connection, commissing and testing complete after repairs.

M&L for dismantling core, taking out damaged coils (HV Coils) from its position for replacement, including supplying and fixing new winded coils with super enamelled copper winding wires of reqd gauge, number of turnings & weight to suit with the existing coils with allied insulation materials, packing with spacers etc, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for taking out damaged coils (LT Coils) from its position for replacement including supplying and fixing new winded coils with cotton braided copper wire or strip of approprite size (thickness & breath) number of turnings & weight to suit with the existing coils with allied insulation materials, packing with spacers etc, complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out HV procelain bushes from transformers for replacement being damaged, including supply and fixing new HV procelain, viterous white, brown or green of voltage grade 11000 V bushes to suit the size of transformers of different makes transformer of cap 63 KVA upto 500 KVA indoor/outdoor complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out LV procelain bushes from transformers for replacement being damagd, including supply and fixing new LV procelain, viterous white, brown or green of voltage grade 1100 V bushes to suit the size of transformers of different makes transformer of cap 63 KVA upto 500 KVA indoor/out door complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking out worn out HV metallic alloy(brass/gun metal) bush rods, incl supply and fixing new HV metallic alloy (gun metal/brass)bus rods of suitable length and dia with necessary nuts, washers and bushing packing to prevent oil leaking from the bushes including making necessary connections for transformer of cap 50 KV A to 160 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

All as per srl item No 8 here-in-above but for transformer of cap exceeding 160 KVA but not exc 500 KVA.

Taking out worn out LV metallic alloy (brass/gun metal) bush rods, including supply & fixing new LV metallic alloy (gun metal/brass) bus rods of suitable length and dia with necessary nuts, washers and bushing packing to prevent oil leaking from the bushes including making necessary connections for transformer of cap 50 KVA to 160 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

All as per srl item No 10 here-in-above but for transformer of cap exceeding 150 KVA but not exc 500 KVA

S&F cork sheet 6mm thick gasket packing to transformers top cover of various cap upto 500 KVA outdoor / indoor.

Filteration, heating, dehydration of transformer oil(at site) on load system, EHV grade having di-electric strength not less than 55 KV below with 2mm gap high viscosity in transformer of capacity 40 KVA to 500 KVA as per IS-335 of 1983. The reducing moisture, acidity carbon particle in transformer oil. Note:- The filteration, heating, dehydration of transformer oil shall be carried out at site. The unit rate quoted by the contractor shall deemed to include for arrrangement of filtration machine and its transportation to various location of installation of transformer and top up of transformer oil.

Supply, treating (dehydrating), filling new transformer oil in transformers for topping up levels or for replacement of unfit oil .New oil having dielectric strength not less than 60 KV and shall be confirming to IS 335. Note:- The empty barrel will be the property of the department.

Taking out old breathers from transformer and supplying & fixing new breather duly filled with activated agent i.e silca gel for transformer of cap 63 KVA to 200 KVA

All as per srl item No 15 here-in-above but for transformer of cap exceeding 200 KVA but not exc 500 KVA

Supply, fixing, commissioning & testing of dial type temp gauge 100mm dia dial range 0-100ºC complete with thermostat built in switch complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for taking out UNSV tap changing gear for replacement, including supply & fixing, making connections, testing & commissioning new tap changing gears in transformers of any description / rating and make complete all as specified and directed.

M & L complete for denting out damaged external cooling tube of transformer & bring them to their original shape, of any type and description against of cap 63 KVA to 500 KVA.

M & L, welding to iron surface sheet steel in cooling tube/ body of transformer of any description to prevent leakages of oil , welding in repairs exceeding 2.5 cm but n.exc 5 cm in length, thickness of metal to be welded n.exc 6mm.

Painting to transformers old painted surface of steel after cleaning, scraping and preparing and filling cavities and providing one coat of synthetic enameled grey paint with spray gun process to transformer of cap 63 to 160 KVA indoor / outdoor type.

All as per srl item No 21 above but for transformer of cap exceeding 160 KVA but not exc 500 KVA.

Cleaning, preparing and painting with one coat of grey samson paint to tubular pole of HT 11 KV complete and aluminium paint to poles, cross arms, MS channels, angle iron, frame work bracing of pole and writing of HT feeder name with black enemelled paint from stencil complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down transformer of any size,any capacity and reinstalling after repair of platform (including lifting of transformer from the existing platform and reinstalling of transformer on new platform). Note:-The quoted rate include the rate of hydra machine for lifting the transformer from one position to another.

M&L of transformer plateforms of size 2.50 m x 2.50m x 1.20m with following specifications as under a)Brick work in sub class B brick old size burnt clay bricks exc 6m mean radius on plan in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as spd and directed b) PCC 1:3:6 as in foundation filling and mass concrete c) Stone boulder filling n.exc 63mm including hand packing and ramming complete d) PCC 1:2 :4 as in flooring / top surface of plate form complete e) Plastering to brick work in CM 1:4 complete f) Angle iron as in post for fencing g) Chain link fencing of any size 4 mm dia GI wire

MS Framed work as in framed structure (around 4 pole/2 pole/ LT pannel/ Transformer) guard bars, framed balusters and similar works complete including PCC work as in foundation complete all as specified.

Expended metal cut to length, bend to required shape weight not less than 4 kg/Sqm and laying with and including annealed MS wire or welded to steel members complete all as specified.

Material and labour for spreading and leveling evenly (any thickness) 20 mm graded stone aggregate complete all as specified and directed.

Labour and tools for trimming tree branches up to 100 mm grith of any location around existing HT/LT OH lines giving clearance of 1.5 m on all sides after arranging shut down and taking all precaution while working on lines incl all T&P required for the purpose complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: The contractor shall arrange the tree cutting machine and vehicle mounted telescopic ladder for the same.

Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cm×60cm× 6mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, using galvanised iron strip 25×4mm as earthing lead connected to using galvanised iron strip 25×4mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No. 5 connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion all as specified and directed by Eng In Charge.

Aluminium strip of size 25 x 4 mm for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall, burried in ground, fixed along with poles, complete all as specified.

Cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for indoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 50 sqmm to 95 Sqmm.

M&L Stay assembly galvanised iron complete with accessories stay rod 18mm dia, 180cm long with two nuts, stay bow 14mm dia and 38cm long with stay plate 300x300x6mm thickmild steel stay thimble and required length including binding to insulator stay bow and stay clamp galvanised iron stary strand wire 7/4mm dia complete all as specified and shown in EP plate No 1 of SSR 2009 .

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth and getting out in any type of soil for errection of HT/LT poles laying of HT/LT UG cables and provn of stay assembly complete all as specified.

Excavating in trenches, not exceeding 1.5m wide and exceeding 1.5m but not exceeding 3m in depth for foundation, etc or not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and exceeding 1.5m but not exceeding 3m in depth for shafts, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified.

Returning, filling in, including spreading levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick in any type soil complete all as specified.

Removing excavated material not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point and entire satisfaction of Engnr-in-Charge complete all as specified and directed

Sand dry clean as cushioning to underground electric cable provided with a layer of 80mm deep before laying and 150mm over cable laid in trenches complete all as speficied.

Supply & Laying reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class EHV, type 1 with peak, size 450mm x 230mm x 50mm thick complete all as specified.

Supply, Laying, jointing and testing of under ground cables XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded galvanized steel strips armoured electric power cable (heavy duty) with aluminium conductor HT 11000 volts grade and cross sectional area 95 sqmm 3 core conforming to latest IS and ISI marked including taking out existing cable complete all as specified and directed by Engrr-in-Charge,

Supply & fixing in position cable path indicator made out of MS Sheet of thickness minimum 10mm circular in shape duly embosing the words " HT cable" fixed on MS angle iron of size 35x35x4mm, at a distance of every 50 mtr & painting the indicators with 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint (Brown colour) over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specifed and directed.

Steel tubing galvanized (Light grade) 80mm bore conforming to IS -1239 for passing cable under road /floor or fixing to poles for protection of underground cable complete all as specified.

Supply and Fixing in repairs earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to walls on batten or recess or chesses or buried in ground or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing with using 32 x 6 mm dia GI strip, complete all as specified and directed.

Note:- 1) The work under this schedule (Item No. 1 to 59) are meant for maint of External Electric Supply in Nagrota Mil Stn (including Katra, Sanjhi Chat, Charli Hill). The work shall be executed on ground on required basis. Contractor shall deploy sufficient resources to keep smooth working of External Electric Supply at station. Contractor or his representative will daily attend the complaints of E/M complaint cell and in addition any breakdown shall be communicated to contractor or his representative by concerned Engineer in charge/ JE E/M through phone call, text message, complaint slip and or in writing through site order or through other means. Non compliance of attending breakdown by contractor within 24 hours after notifying the complaint, recovery @ Rs 2000/- per say shall be recovered from contractor's payment for each complaint so notified. 2) Contractor responsibility is to liaise with the department concerned for HT/LT supply shut down required to carry out the work and also ensure the safety of labour employed by giving them safety equipments like helmet, gloves, safety belt, discharge rod etc and nothing extra shall be permissible on this account. 3) Schedule of credit Rs. 2,20,450.00 will be deducted from total amount quoted while accepting the bid. Details of schedule of credit is given in tender documents.
