REPAIR/REPLACEMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF EOT/HOT CRANES IN AOR OF AGE E/M-V UNDER GE(N) BATHINDA AT BATHINDA MIL STN

Dismantling /removing of unserviceable spare parts of overhead travelling portions and moving portions for EOT / HOT cranes of capacity up to 10 Ton at sight and replacement of the defective parts and re-assembeling connected acessories including its electric connections complete all as directed by Engr- in- charge.One crane Mechanic along with helper should be available during the maintenance process of cranes. Notes: (i) Spares require for maintenace shall be measured and paid separately here-in-after serial item no.2.00 to 18.00 of Schedule 'A' BoQ as supply only . (ii) Cost of any minor spares required other than mentioned under serial item no.2.00 to 18.00 of Schedule 'A' BoQ shall be deemed to have been included in unit rate and nothing shall be paid extra on this account.The Labour element of serial item no.2.00 to 18.00 of Schedule 'A' BoQ is included in this item and nothing shall be paid extra on this acccount. (iii) Spare parts shall be ordered to the contactor in writing by the Engineer-in-charge as and when required. Contractor shall have no claim whatever in the event of ordering / non ordering the spares in full or part .Make and model of the parts to be replaced shall be same as of existing parts of cranes.( Make of the cranes are Tib Udyog - 06 Nos. and Electromech -01 No.). (iv) T&P and arrangement of Hydraulic ladders/ scaffolding systems etc and other testing equipments shall be arranged by the contractor and nothing shall be paid extra on this account.

Material and labour for rewiring of all electrical connections of crane control panel boards with new terminal connector,lugs and wire of suitable size for Main Hoist, Cross Travel & Long Travel after disconnecting, removing the burnt contactors,aux contactor, controller transformers, OLR,HRC fuses,MCBs, cables and other connecting accessories suitable for 5 Ton to 10 Ton capacity EOT/HOT Cranes, complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Power Contactors,Auxiliary contactor,Bimetal over load relay ,HRC fuses,Pendent cables MCBs & PVC cables under serial item nos.20.00 to 34.00 shalll be measured and paid separately as supply only against burnt spares under serial item no.20.00 to 34.00 of Schedule'A' BoQ here-in-before.The labour element of serial item no.20.00 to 34.00 of Schedule'A' BoQ is included in this item and nothing shall be paid extra on this account.

All as per Serial Item No.35.00 here in before but for motors above 1.5KW up to 3.7KW capacity, complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down and overhauling of chain pulley blocks of capacity 0.5 Ton to 3 Ton cross travel unit of EOT/HO crane by applying suitable oils and grease wherever required and applying cadmium compound to wire ropes including supplying and replacing un serviceable bolts and nuts complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge .

Material and labour for alignment of EOT/HOT crane tracks on both side including gas cutting ,welding and grinding for smooth movement of girder for long travel and cross travel upto 5 ton capacity crane complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge .

All as per item No 39.00 here-in-before but of capacity 10 ton capacity EOT crane complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge .

Carrying out load test on EOT cranes upto 5 Ton capacity under 110% of full load capacity of cranes on hoisting, long travel and cross travel for checking the performance including deflection test with necessary manpower, instruments, necessary internal transportation upto required cranes, complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Notes: (i) Arrangements of Load / deflection test for cranes shall be carried out by the contractor through OEM Engineer in presence of Department's rep as directed by Engnieer- in- Charge & User rep (ii) Record of test results & certificate shall be submitted to GE duly signed by OEM Engineer, Department's rep and User rep. After receieving the record of test and certificate and satisfication of GE the payment of this item shall be released to contractor .

Supply and Fixing in replacement Hand chain of 2 ton HOT crane complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and Fixing in replacement chain wheel of 2 ton HOT crane crane complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and Fixing in replacement Load chain of 2 ton HOT crane crane complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and Fixing in replacement Rachet gear and rachet pawl of 2 ton HOT crane crane complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Maintenance & Servicing for complete job as described under serial no. 48.00,48.01,48.02,48.03,48.04 & 48.05 to be carried out every three months period to check and made serviceable for the maintenance for each crane up to 10 Ton capacity installed various sheds all as directed by Engr -in- Charge and satisfied testing certificate shall be taken from user rep. Periodic cheking are not carried out in these period the recovery will be taken from contractor @ Rs 300/ per day from delay period. Note:(i) Payment for this job shall be released to contractor after receiving the satisfactiory testing certificate duly signed by user and Engineer-in-charge and counter signed by GE .

(k) Bearing grease checking of the Hook.

(c) Cleaning of control panels and checking of connections. (d) Checking of connections of VVVF drive and other drives for smooth funtioning of same.

Continued serial item No.48.00 (v) DOWN SHOP LEAD (a) Checking the alignment and rectification. (b) Cleaning of the moving/sliding objects. NOTE :- (i) The repair works carried out to make TIB UDYOG/Electromech EOT cranse. (ii) The repair works carried out to make TIB UDYOG HOT Crane. (iii) A qualified crain mechanic shall arranged by the contractor at site in this concerned period.

Note:- The contract sum shall be calculated by deducting the amount shown in Credit Schedule attached to this tender from total amount of Schedule 'A'/BOQ
