Earthwork in excavation (As per I.S 3114 /1965 for laying of different types and sizes of pipes so as to give one meter average cover over the socket of pipe with disposal of excavated earth within initial lead and lift as per specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge

Total Excavation in all type of Soil strata

For Classification of Soil Item -A (Excavation in Soft Strata) -50 %

For Classification of Soil Item -B (Excavation in Hard Strata) - 35 %

E/W in excavation of cut-off trenches by the hydraulic excavator as per designed section in soft rock (Where blasting is not needed) (vide type of soil item -C) with disposal of soil beyond 1/2 km from centre of trench but upto 1 km with all lifts by tipper including construction and maintenanceof haul road all complete as per specification & direction of E/I .

Excavation in Hard Strata (15% of Total Earth)

Earthwork in excavation in foundation trenches in ordinary soil ( vide classification of soil item A) and disposal of excavated earth as obtained to a distance upto 50M including all lifts, evelling , ramming the foundation trenches, removing roots of trees , surbs all complete as per approved design, building specification and direction of E/I.

E/W in excavation in foundation trenches in ordinary soil (vide classification of soil item - A) and disposal of excavated earth obtained to a distance upto 50 M including all lift leveling, ramming the foundation trenches removing roots of trees, shurbs all complete as per approved design, building specification and direction of E/I.

Excavation for structures (earthwork in excavation of foundation of structures as per drawing and technical specifications, including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious matter, dressing of sides and bottom, backfilling the excavation earth to the extent required and utilizing the remaining earth locally for roadwork.)

Filling in foundation trenches and plinth in layers not exceeding 150 mm thick well watered, rammed fully compacted and fine dressed with earth obtained from excavation of foundation trenches within a lead of 50 m and lift of 1.5 m all complete as per building specification and direction of E/I
