| 11 | Taking Down old Bollard of 200t Capacity incluiding its fittings or Complete cutting of old Fittings to facilitae the seamless refixing of same bollard after repair s. Here's a detailed outline of Procedure
(a) Open the old Fittings where the bollard was previously installed. Break them Until a proper surface is achived.Remove old concrete, loose debris, and accessible bolts to ensure a clean and stable surface. (b) Fitting of New Bollard: Place the bottom profile of the new bollard and mark the positions for new bolts according to the profile. Clean the dig area, removing all loose concrete after identifying the required area for bolt placement.
(c) Bolt Installation: Remove necessary old concrete and clean the dig area. Fix the bolts, welding them to the reinforcement if required. Bolts can be fitted either before or after concrete filling. (d) Concrete Filling: After marking and fixing bolts, apply two coats of bonding epoxy over the old concrete. In areas where old concrete is removed, fill the entire space with Epoxy Cement Concrete (ECC) as per the mixed design. (e) Epoxy Motor Application: Fill any remaining 10mm gaps with epoxy motor after applying bonding coat. (f) Seal Coating: Apply two coats of sealant over the ECC and epoxy motor layers to ensure a smooth and resilient surface. (g) Bollard Placement:Once dried, position the new bollard, ensuring that the bolts are tightly secured. If any gaps are observed, fill the entire area with epoxy to ensure a secure fit.
