COMPREHENSIVE MAINTENANCE WORKS TO BUILDINGS INCLUDING INTERNAL BR SERVICES INSIDE GTRE CDA DSC AND GE BSO EM OFFICE UNDER AGE BR II AT BANGALORE

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing) removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and as directed

Demolition of unreinforced cement concrete as in sub base not exc. 150 mm thickness including removing the debries from the building and upto 50m complete all as specified and as directed

Material and labour for 100mm thick Plain Cement Concrete type D-2, (1:4:8) using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in sub base complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 25mm thick Plain Cement Concrete type B-1, (1:2:4) using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in sub base complete all as specified and as directed.

Providing and laying 9-10mm thick double charge vitrified tiles, polished finish of size 600 x 600 mm with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS 15622, of approved make, in all colours and shades, laid over prepared base using approved polymer modified tile adhesive conforming to IS 15477, applied with notched trowel as per manufacturer’s instructions, including maintaining uniform joints using 5 mm thick PVC tile spacers, complete. The joints shall be filled and finished with approved epoxy based tile grout of matching shade, including cleaning of surface, curing where required and removal of spacers, all complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying 9-10mm thick Non skid Ceramic floor tiles of size 600x600 mm of 1st quality conforming to IS : 15622 of approved make in colours such as white, ivory, grey, fume red brown, laid over prepared base using approved polymer modified tile adhesive conforming to IS 15477, applied with notched trowel as per manufacturer’s instructions, including maintaining uniform joints using 5 mm thick PVC tile spacers, complete. The joints shall be filled and finished with approved epoxy based tile grout of matching shade, including cleaning of surface, curing where and removal of spacers, all complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying 9-10mm thick double charge vitrified tiles, polished finish of size 600 x 600 mm as in skirting with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS 15622, of approved make, in all colours and shades, laid over prepared base using approved polymer modified tile adhesive conforming to IS 15477, applied with notched trowel as per manufacturer’s instructions, including maintaining uniform joints using 5 mm thick PVC tile spacers, complete. The joints shall be filled and finished with approved epoxy based tile grout of matching shade, including cleaning of surface, curing where required and removal of spacers, all complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing 1st quality 8-10mm thick coloured glazed vitrified tiles of area not less than 0.36 sqm in dado/skirting, conforming to IS: 15622, of approved make, in all colours and shades except burgundy, bottle green and black, of size and pattern as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge, fixed over properly prepared and cleaned base including applying a uniform coat of approved liquid waterproofing compound over the surface as per manufacturer’s specifications, and allowing the same to cure, thereafter laying tiles using approved polymer modified tile adhesive conforming to IS: 15477, applied with notched trowel as per manufacturer’s instructions, maintaining uniform joints using 5 mm thick PVC tile spacers, including cutting, fitting, finishing, and alignment to true line and level; the joints shall be filled with approved epoxy based tile grout of matching shade, including cleaning of surface, curing where required, removal of spacers and making good the finished surface, complete in all respects as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for providing Vacuum Dewatered Concrete (VDF) flooring using Ready Mix Concrete of grade M-25, laid to required line, level, slope and thickness as shown on drawings or as directed by Engineer-in-Charge, including necessary side shuttering with MS channels/forms, compacting and leveling with double screed vibrator, dewatering by approved vacuum pump with suction mat system to remove excess water, surface finishing by floating and re-vibrating as required, finishing with skim floater and power trowel to obtain dense, smooth and hard wearing surface, incorporating approved non-metallic dry shake floor hardener @ 3.00 kg per square metre uniformly broadcast over green/wet concrete and machine finished, including preparation of existing base/surface by brooming, air pressure cleaning and removal of all dust, dirt, laitance and loose particles, including curing, edge finishing, complete in all respects as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down or up steel tubing and connections and removing to store yard of size 20mm bore complete all as specified and as directed
