PART A Supply and Installation

Design, manufacturing and supply of 5.5TR Capacity Ceiling suspended ductable type split AC systems, air cooled on the secondary side, as per Basis of Design & Scope of Work & Specification consisting of Single Scroll compressor, suitable row DX cooling coils, blower with plenum, Filters with frame work, drive motors, pulleys, belts, current sensing type star delta starters with thermal overload protection, power and control cabling with tinned Copper earthing from the main electrical panel. The AC system shall be equipped with all accessories, hardware, and other supporting systems etc. required to deliver designed conditions to the entire satisfaction of TIFR. The system shall be with air cooled condensers having copper tubes and AL fins, its fan with motors, controls starter, microprocessor control panel, internal control &power wiring, refrigerant pipings, charging port and other accessories, hardwares enclosed in IP-55 cabinet assembly with weather resistant painting/powder coating for highly corrosive and aggressive coastal ambient conditions for continuous operations

Installation, Testing & Commissioning of Ceiling suspended type ductable Air-conditioning system comprising Air Cooled type Outdoor Unit, Indoor Unit, refrigerant piping between outdoor unit and indoor units, electrical cabling between indoor units & outdoor unit, power/control cabling, all system control safety, First charge of Refrigerant. Each Unit should have an isolation valves in both the refrigerant pipe connections

Supply, Installation, testing & commissioning of suitable size of Seamless, Hard Drawn Refrigerant Copper Piping connecting outdoor to Indoor AC Units .The Refrigerant pipe work shall be suitable for Refrigerant with 13mm thick Nitrile rubber insulation on liquid line and 19mm thick Nitrile rubber insulation on suction line. The thickness of the refrigerant pipe is as per ASTM B88 L-Type standard. The cost should be inclusive of Supply & Installation of necessary supports, fittings, valves, etc. Exposed insulated refrigerant piping should be protected from degrading as specified in the tender

Design, fabrication, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of GSS ducting of following size with all the accessories like turning vanes, elbows, flange, epoxy painted supports, gaskets, nuts and bolts, all the hardware etc. including volume control dampers opposed blade type, complete in all respects to the entire satisfaction of the department as per technical specifications in totality including making duct layout drawing.

Supply & installation of thermal insulation for supply & Return air ducting and plenum (inside application) with Nitrile based rubber having Class ‘O’ rating of thickness 11 mm backed with factory laminated Aluminum foil including sealant between duct and insulation & Aluminum tape between joints, complete in all respects to the entire satisfaction of the department as per technical specifications in totality. Nothing extra shall be payable on any account.

Supply & Installation of 16 G duct damper with all accessories like gasket, nut bolts, etc.

Supply & Installation of Supply air grills/Diffusers as per approved make fabricated from extruded aluminum angle

Supply, Installation & Testing of suitable size CPVC pipes for drain piping with 9mm thick Nitrile rubber insulation up to the drain points as per specification from each Indoor AC Unit.

Supply and fixing of Fire retardant double layer Canvass connection with zip between indoor unit outlet and supply air duct.

Laying of Suitable size Armoured XLPE Insulated & Sheathed electrical Copper conductor Power cabling complete with end terminations between main TIFR isolator switch to AC Units . (Cable will be supplied by TIFR)

Laying of Suitable size Multi core flexible PVC control electrical cable between outdoor and indoor part of AC Units complete with end terminations. (Cables will be supplied by TIFR)

Part B Comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contract

Comprehensive Annual Maintenance contract of Ductable type Air-conditioning system for Library Books storage room at ‘A’ Block Basement, comprising 2 Nos. 5.5TR ( 1 Working + 1 standby) Programmable Microprocessor based Air cooled AC Unit (Outdoor Unit + Indoor Unit), , connected refrigerant piping, ducting, insulation, electrical cabling, etc. as per tender specification. The Annual maintenance contract shall start after the expiry of Guarantee period. Order for Comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contract will be released after the expiry of Defect Liability Period.
