Civil Work

Excavating trenches by mechanical / manual means of required width for pipes, cables, etc. including excavation for sockets, and dressing of sides, ramming of bottoms, for all depth, including getting out the excavated soil, and then returning the soil as required, in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, including consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering etc. and disposing of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m : pipes, cables etc. not exceeding 80 mm dia.

Brick work with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 7.5 in superstructure above plinth level up to floor V level in all shapes and sizes in :

Steel work welded in built up sections/ frames work, including cutting hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required in gratings, frames, guard bar, ladder, railings, brackets, gates and similar works

Cement concrete flooring 1:2:4 (1 cement: 2 coarse sand: 4 graded stone aggregate) finished with a floating coat of neat cement, including cement slurry, but excluding the cost of noising of steps etc. complete. 40mm thick with 20 mm nominal size stone aggregate.

Providing & fixing precoated galvanised iron profile sheets (size, shape and pitch of corrugation as approved by Engineer-in-Charge) of total coated thickness 0.50mm (base metal of minimum 0.45 mm thickness with total coating thickness of 0.05mm) with zinc coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS: 277, in 240 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18 microns. Sheet should have protective guard film of 25 microns minimum to avoid scratches during transportation and should be supplied in single length upto 12 metre or as desired by Engineer-in-charge. The sheet shall be fixed using self-drilling/self-tapping screws of size (5.5 x 55 mm) with EPDM seal, complete upto any pitch in horizontal/vertical of curved surfaces, excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses and including cutting to size and shape wherever required

Making khurras 45x45 cm with average minimum thickness of 5 cm cement concrete 1:2:4 ( 1 cement : 2 coarse and :4 graded stone aggregate of 20 mm nominal size) over PVC sheet 1 m x1m x400 micron, finished with 12mm cement, rounding the edges and making and finishing the outlet complete

Providing gola 75x75 mm in cement concrete 1:2:4 ( 1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 stone aggregate 10 mm and down guge), including finishing with cement mortar 1:3 ( 1 cement: 3 fine sand) as per standard design: in 75x75 mm deep chase

Providing and laying pressed clay tiles (as per approved pattern 20 mm nominal thickness of approved size) on roofs jointed with cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement: 4 coarse sand) mixed with 2% integral water proofing compound, laid over a bed of 20mm thick cement mortar 1:4 ( 1 cement: 4 coarse sand) and finished neat completed.

Providing and fixing on wall face unplasticised rigid PVC rain water pipes conforming to IS: 13592 Type A, including jointing with seal ring conforming to IS: 5382, leaving 10 mm gap for thermal expansion, (i) single socketed pipes. 110 mm diameter

Providing and fixing on wall face unplasticised- PVC moulded fittings/accessories for unplasticised Rigid PVC rain water pipes conforming to IS 13592 Type A, including jointing w with seal ring conforming to IS: 5382 leaving 10 mm gap for thermal expansion. 110mm bend

18 mm cement plaster in two coats under layer 12mm thick cement plaster 1:5(1 cement :5 coarse sand ) finished with a top layer 6 mm thick cement plaster 1:6 ( 1 cement : 6 fine sand)

12 mm thick plain cement mortar bands in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 fine sand ) flush Band

Finishing walls with water proofing cement paint of required shade: New York ( Two or more coats applied @ 3.84 kg /10 sqm)

Providing and applying white cement based putty of average thickness 1 mm, of approved brand and manufacture, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete.

12 mm cement plaster of mix : 1:4 (1 cement: 4 coarse sand)

15 mm cement plaster on rough side of single or half brick wall of mix:

Finishing walls with textured exterior paint of required shade : New work (Two or more coats applied @ 3.28 ltr/10 sqm) over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20kg/10 sqm

Wall painting with premium acrylic emulsion paint of interior grade, having VOC (volatile organic compound) content less than 50 grams/litre of approved brand and manufacture, including applying additional coats wherever required to achieve even shade of colour.

Removing dry or oil bound distemper, water proofing cement paint and the like by scrapping, sand papering and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade: One or more coats an old work

Repairs to plaster of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sq. meters and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls complete, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. with cement mortar 1:4 ( 1 cement: 4 coarse sand)

Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, up to seven story height made with 40 mm dia M.S tube 1.5 m center to center, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challis, M.S clamps and M.S staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge. The elevation area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding.

Cleaning and desilting of gully trap chamber, including removal of rubbish mixed with earth etc. and disposal of same, all as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Cleaning of chocked sewer line by diesel running vehicle mounting hydraulic operated high pressure suction cum jetting sewer cleaning machine fitted with pump having 4000 liters suction operator, supervising engineer etc. for cleaning and partial desalting of manholes and dechocking of sewer lines. Dechocking and flushing of sewer line from one manhole to another by high pressure jetting system of 2200 PSI for sewer line from 150mm dia upto 300 mm

Dismantling tile work in floors and roofs laid in cement mortar including stacking material within 50 metres lead. For thickness of tiles 10 mm to 25 mm

Demolishing mud phaska in terracing and disposal of material within 50 metres lead.

Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead.

Disposal of building rubbish/ malba/similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyong 50 m initial lead, for all leads including all lifts involved.

Demolishing cement concrete manually/by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres leas as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. Nominal concrete 1:4:8 or leaner mix ( including equivalent design mix)

Demolishing brick work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per irection of Engineer-in-charge. In cement mortar

Fencing with angle iron post placed at required distance embedded in cement concrete blocks, every 15th post, last but one end post and corner post shall be strutted on both sides and end post on one side only and provided with horizontal lines and two diagonals interwoven with horizontal wires, of barbed wire weighing 9.38 kg per 100 m (minimum), between the two posts fitted and fixed with G.I. staples, turn buckles etc. complete. (Cost of posts, struts, earth work and concrete work to be paid for separately). Payment to be made per metre cost of total length of barbed wire used. With G.I barbed wire

Supplying and fixing C.I cover without frame for manholes: 455x610 mm rectangular C.I cover ( light duty) the weight of the cover to be not less than 23 kg

Extra depth for manholes: with common burnt clay F.P.S ( non-modular) bricks of class designation 7.5

Supplying and applying bituminous solution primer on roof and / or wall surface at 0.24 litre per sqm.

Grading roof for water proofing treatment with cement concrete 1:2:4( 1 cement: 2 coarse sand :4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

Providing and fixing hard dawn steel wire fabric of size 75x75 mm mesh or other suitable size wire mesh to be fixed & firmly anchored to the concrete surface by means of "L" shaped mild steel shear key welded with existing reinforcement including the cost of materials, labour, tool & plants as approved by Engineer-in-charge.

Making hole up to 20x20 cm and embedding pipes up to 150 mm diameter in masonry and filling with cement concrete 1:3:6 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand: 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) including disposal of malba.

Drilling suitable holes in reinforced or plain cement concrete with power driven drill machine to a minimum depth of 100 mm upto 200 mm in RCC beams, lintels, columns and slabs to introduce steel bars for sunshades/ balconies including fixing the steel bars in position using epoxy resin anchor grout of approved make but excluding the cost of reinforcement, all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge. Upto and including 12 mm dia.

Providing and injecting approved grout in proportion recommended by the manufacturer into cracks/honey-comb area of concrete/masonry by suitable gun/pump at required pressure including cutting of nipples after curing etc. complete as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge. (The payment shall be made on the basis of actual weight of approved grout injected.) Stirrer mixed SBR Polymer (of approved make) modified Cement slurry made with Shrinkage Compensating Cement in concrete/RCC work.

Supplying and fixing 2 HP submersible single phase pump with errection and removing existing sump, along with providing single phase wiring along with safety wire etc. complete

Supplying and fixing electrical starter suitable for 2 HP pump with necessary wiring with Ampire meter etc. Complete
