COMPREHENSIVE MAINTENANCE & OPERATION OF LIFT

(i) Qualification of the operator must obtain ITI certificate of particular field or five years of experience in operation of lift. (ii) Attendance in Biometric attendance system shall be marked twice during the duty hrs. Firstly at the start of duty hrs and secondly at the completion of duty hrs before leaving the assigned duty place. (iii) Payment to the contractor shall be issued as per attendance of workmen, registered in the designated biometric attendance machine. (iv) Monthly printout of attendance, duly verified by contractor and Engineer-in-Charge, shall be kept in record for payment purpose. (v) Contractor shall regularly monitor and verify the attendance being market in the biomentric attendance machine and bring any absence or change of workmen to the notice of Engr-in-Charge in writing immediately. (vi) Employment of workmen and payment thereof shall be regulated by EPF & MP Act 1952 as amended time to time by GOI. (vii) PAYMENT OF WORKERS :- Contractor shall arrange to open bank account in any Nationalised Bank of all labour/workers employed for execution of work and wages paid to workers through bank transation i.e. NEFT, cheque etc. The proof of the same shall be produced to the Engr-in-Charge for verification. (viii) UNIFORM/CLOTHING :- The duty staff/operator should be in proper uniform, uniform to be provided by contractor after getting approval of GE/EIC . (ix) Contractor will carryout routine maintenance of the lift as per the manufacturer norms or instructions give by GE/Eng-in-Chrge. (x) Penalty :- If the operator found absent from the duty double the amount of the pay shall be recovered from the work done. (xi) Minimum wages :- While dropping the tender for the subject work it is advised to the contractor that the minimum wages for the technicians must not be lower than the Govt rates under the minimum wages act-1948 IX Vol). As per the directions of the HQ CE (AF) Nagpur, contractors must not be quote below the prescribed rates issued by the Govt if so they will be disqualify for the bid automatically). (xii) Any minor/major repair/replacement in the plant/lift if required will be carried out by the contractor without any extra payment within the defect liability period and after defect liability period will be carried out under the AMC.

MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS FOR FIRST YEAR :- Providing services for OEM trained techanician for round 'o' clock duties (03 shift in a day by deploying one trained technician in a each shift including Sunday and holiday) for lift for attending/monitoring the breakdown and preventive maintenance of entire system installed under above schedule during first year of defect liability period. The technician shall be competent in following field:- (a) Trouble shooting, repairs and maintenance of lift control pannels. (b) Uploading and downloadig of ladder logic based programs. (c) Manual/Remote operation of lift and act as assistant for rescue in case of any failure of lift. (d) Technician shall be responsible for all short of periodical servicing required for the system like as cabin, doors control panel, drives, pulley, chain,gears system, electric motor, sensors etc. and maintain proper log sheets of the work carried out. Note :- (i) Contractor shall provide required T&P for technician so employed. (ii) Manpower so provided shall also be responsible for operation of lift. (iii) The contractor shall enter a MOU with OEMs for the provision of the lift and further maintenance. The MOU for the post warranty/post defect liability period between the contractor and OEM shall be submitted at least six months prior to the issue of completion certificate of the main contract. (iv) Contractor shall provide mobile to operator for communication.

MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS FOR SECOND YEAR :- Providing services for OEM trained techanician for round 'o' clock duties (03 shift in a day by deploying one trained techanician in a each shift including Sunday and holiday) for lift for attending/monitoring the breakdown and preventive maintenance of entire system installed under above schedule during first year of defect liability period. The technician shall be competent in following field :- (a) Trouble shooting, repairs and maintenance of lift control panels. (b) Uploading and downloadig of ladder logic based programs. (c) Manual/Remote operation of lift and act as assistant for rescue in case of any failure of lift. (d) Technician shall be resposible for all short of periodical servicing required for the system like as cabin, doors control panel, drives, pulley, chain,gears system, electric motor, sensonrs etc. and maintain proper log sheets of the work carried out. Note :- (i) Contractor shall provide required T&P for technician so employed. (ii) Manpower so provided shall also be responsible for operation of lift. (iii) The contractor shall enter a MOU with the OEMs for the provision of the lift and further maintenance. THe MOU for the post warranty/post defect liabilty period between the contractor and OEM shall be submitted at least six months prior to the issue of completion certificate of the main contract. (iv) Contractor shall provide mobile to operator for communication.

MAINTENANCE AND OPEARATIONS AND AMC FOR THIRD YEAR (AFTER DEFECT LIABILITY PERIOD):- Annual comprehensive maintenance and outsourcing for monitoring management and operations of lift system installed under Sch 'A' Part -I i.e. upto 12 months from actual date of completion of defect liability period including all necessary spares for lift. It includes providing the following manpower :- Three company trained technician (ITI holder in mechanical/lift operation) (OEM based lift system) for attending/monitoring the breakdown and preventive maintanence in the three shifts including sunday and holiday (One technician in each shift). The trained technician shall possess a certificate from the lift manufacturer clearly stating that he/she has been trained in :- (a) Trouble shooting, repairs and maintenance of lift control panels. (b) Uploading and downloadig of ladder logic based programs. (c) Manual/Remote operation of lift and act as assistant for rescue in case of any failure of lift. (d) Technician shall be responsible for all short of periodical servicing required for the system like as LT control panels, electric motor, sensors etc and maintain proper log sheets of the work carried out. Note :- (i) Contractor shall provide provide required T&P for technician so employed. (ii) Manpower so provided shall also be responsible for operatin of lift. (iii) All spares required for smooth and efficient working of the system. The technician shall carry out the above preventive maintenance and maintain proper log sheet. (iv) Contractor shall provide mobile to operator for communication.

MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS AND AMC FOR FOURTH YEAR (AFTER ONE YEAR OR DEFECT LIABILITY PERIOD) :- Annual comprehensive maintenance and outsourcing for monitoring management and operation of lift system insatalled under Sch 'A' Part - I i.e. upto 12 months from one year of completion of defect liability period including all necessary spares for lift. It includes providing the following manpower : Three company trained technician (ITI holder in mechanical/lift operation) (OEM based lift system) for attending/monitoring the breakdown and preventive maintenance in the three shifts including sunday and holiday (One technician in each shift). The trained technician shall pssess a certificate from the lift manufacturer clearly stating that he/she has been trained in :- (a) Trouble shooting, repairs and maintenance of lift control panels. (b) Uploading and downloadig of ladder logic based programs. (c) Manual/Remote operation of lift and act as assistant for rescue in case of any failure of lift. It includes providing the following manpower :- Three company trained technician (ITI holder in mechanical/lift operator) (OEM based lift system) for attending/montoring the breakdown and preventive maintenace in the three shifts including sunday and holiday (One technician in each shift). The trained technician shall possess a certificate from the lift manufacturer clearly stating that he/she has been trained in :- (a) Trouble shooting, repairs and maintenance of lift control panels. (b) Uploading and downloadig of ladder logic based programs. (c) Manual/Remote operation of lift and act as assistant for rescue in case of any failure of lift. (d) Tecnician shall be responsible for all short of periodical servicing required for the system like as LT control panels, electric motor, sensors etc. and maintain proper log sheets of the work carried out. Note :- (i) Contractor shall provide required T&P for technicia so employed. (ii) Manpower so provided shall also be responsible for operation of lift. (iii) All spares required for smooth and efficient working of the system. The technician shall carry out the above preventive maintenance and maintain proper log sheet. (iv) Contractor shall provide mobile to operator for communication.

Note: The amount against Schedule of Credit on Page No. 58 shall be deducted from the total amount quoted against Sch 'A' while deriving the Contract Sum for Acceptance.
