Sand cushioning to under ground cable with clean dry river sand in layer of sand 8cm thick before laying of cable and 15 cm after laying of cable, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note- For payment purpose punned thickness of 18 cm shall be measured against spread thickness of 23 cm as mentioned in para 19.75 of SSR Part-I.
Protection of cable with one layer of bricks laid flat butting to each other in such a way that the length of the bricks is at right angle to the central axis of the cable using old size sub-class ‘B’ bricks, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Steel water tubing, 50 mm bore light grade ISI marked galvanized with all fittings laid in trenches / road crossing/ fixed to pole /walls /path /drain /floor etc,compllete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Test point terminal block of gun metal or phosphorus bronze of size 75mm x 75mm x 25mm drilled and screwed including 3 No. 8mm dia 25mm long hexagonal head screws complete all as specified and directed.
Aluminium strip 25mm x 3.15 mm with saddles/ epoxy or porcelain insulators and fixing screws for roof conductor and down conductor above ground , complete all as specified and directed.
GI pipe medium grade ISI marked galvanized 40 mm bore 1200m long including drilling holes for fixing of strips/air termination rod including nut ,bolts and washers etc fixed in PCC 1:2:4, type B-1 of block size 150mmx150mmx150mm ,complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- Charge.
