REPAIR MAINTENANCE AND RENEWAL OF EARTHING INFRASTRUCTURE AND DB AT VSN NAGPUR

M&L for testing of old earthing using calibrated earth tester & submitting result to engr -in -charge. Earthing which showing much more results as specified in IS rule and disconnetivity should be replaced with new earthing items are considered as below. Note : (i) Watering of earthing with 2 Buckets (30Ltrs) water mixed with salt (total 5 Kg) shall be carried out one day before the testing & the cost of the same shall deemed included in unit rate quoted.

M & L for Earthing complete with galvanised steel plate electrode, 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtrs deep below nominal ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than not less than 1.5 metres below nominal ground level connected to earthing lead of 4 mm dia galvanised iron or steel wire all as shown in plate No. 4 of SSR PART 1 of 2009 to the earthing test point all as specified and as directed. Note :- the cost of excavation and earth work PCC pit and RCC cover funnel & watering pipe, wiremesh, charcoal dust and common salt earth lead protection pipe upto 7.5 Rmt shall be deemed included in the unit rate for earthing all as specified and as directed.

M & L for repairing of broken earthing pits chamber with PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 with RCC cover (1:2:4) type B0, with funnel and wire mesh for watering pipe all as directed.

Material and labour for new earthing pit with PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 chamber with RCC cover (1:2:4) type B0, 40 mm thick reinforced with 8 mm dia bar, 3 Nos. both way, funnel with wire mesh,water poring arrangement ,connecting main Earthing lead from Earthing pit to Test point /equipment all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Pt-I, 2009 specification.

M&L for cutting / boring of PCC/hard standing at a depth not more than 30 cm deep and 30 cm in breadth for passing earthing conductor and making good the disturbed surfaces with PCC (1:2:4) type B-0 or cement mortar (1:3) complete all as specified.

Dismantling / taking down old GI pipe light grade of size 15 mm bore from any height or situation complete all as specified

Supply and fixing of GI pipe light grade of size 15 mm bore for laying in trenches/floors or walls including all fittings for fixing complete as required and directed.

Dismantling / taking down old rusted GI earth wire 4mm dia from any height or situation complete all as specified

M&L for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead 4 mm dia GI or steel wire fixed to wall on batten or recessed or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe all as required at site.

S & F after replacement U/S sheet metal enclosures for DB's for incorporating MCBs, TPN, 4 way, IP-43 with metal double door with 200 amps rated busbar, 415 volts, as per IS-8623 including taking down the old unserviceable TPN DB, all as specified and as directed. Make : Legrand Cat No 507670, ABB,Seimens.

S & F after replacement U/S MCB TPN, 63 Amps, breaking capacity 10 KA 'C' curve confirming to IS/IEC 60898-1 2002,integrated label holder, sliding bottom clamp , IP 20 protected terminal, sliding shutters, 240 volts, 50 HZ including making necessary incoming and outgoing electrical connection with suitable size of copper lugs etc. Make : Legrand Cat No. 408683 ,ABB,Seimens

S & F after replacement U/S MCB SP 10-32 Amps, breaking capacity 10 KA 'C' curve confirming to IS/IEC 60898-1 2002,integrated label holder, sliding bottom clamp , IP 20 protected terminal, sliding shutters, 240 volts, 50 HZ including making necessary incoming and outgoing electrical connection with suitable size of copper lugs etc. Make : Legrand , ABB, Seimens

M & L for Earthing complete with Copper plate earth electrode 600X600X3.00mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 meter below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to 20x3mm copper strip at two points by means of bolts and nut, check nut and washers including charcoal dust, common salt, necessary excavation in hard/dense soil, returning filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance up to 50metres, PCC pit in 1:3:6 type CI (using 20mm grade stone aggregate) RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm grade stone aggregate ) 50mm thick pit cover, reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars 75mm c/c, both ways MS handle 12mm dia, GI funnel, wire mesh and GI watering pipe of 20mm bore GI (light grade) and earth lead protection pipe 40mm bore (light grade) all as specified, directed and shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I including testing complete. Note : Copper strip and protection pipes 40 mm GI light grade up to 7.5 metre is included in unit rate and beyond that the same will be measured separately.

Supply & fixing Copper strip 20x3 mm on wall/batten on insulators or recessed or buried in ground all as directed

Supply and fixing GI pipe light grade of size 15 mm bore for laying in trenches/floors or walls including all fittings for fixing complete as required and directed.
