Material and labour for laying 150mm thick (compacted thickness) WMM in two layers (75mm each layers), using grading requirement as per Table 400-13 of MORT&H specifications fifth edition and rolled with vibratory type power roller of 8-12 tonne capacity to required camber and gradient including spreading rolling and consolidating as required, complete all as specified and as directed.
Material and labour for 150 mm thick dry lean concrete (DLC) in M15 (Design Mix) with minimum cement content 250 kg/cum with 7 days compressive strength as 10 KN/mm2 including spreading with mechanical paver, consolidating with power roller to required gradient and camber complete all as specified incld necessary form work. Note: In the event of increase in cement content as per design mix, nothing extra shall be admissiable and quoted rates are deemed to be included for the same.
Material and labour for providing clean dry coarse sand uniformly graded including spreading, leveling and well ramming in layer of 10mm thick over DLC complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Supply and laying for 400 micron polythene film as per IS-2508, white colour, laid over sand layer including all necessary cutting, overlaps not less than 300mm and waste complete all as specified and directed by the engineer-in-charge. Note: (i) The rates for laps shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate shall not be measured separately. (ii) Sand layer shall be measured and paid separately under serial item no. 12 above.
Material and labour for Providing Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC) 230 mm thick of flexural strength 45 kg/sqcm using min. 400Kg of cement/cum as per design mix including mixing of non-circular synthetic fiber @ 0.25% by weight of cement in pavement using mechanical paver including necessay form work, finishing surfaces of concrete pavements by bromming etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: (i) Construction joints, contraction joints and expansion joints shall be measured and paid separately under respective items. (ii) Deduction shall be made in computing concrete quantity for expansion joints. (iii) No price adjustment shall be applicable for variation in excess quantity of cement content is used/approved in execution of work under this item. (iv) Synthetic non-circular fiber as secondary reinforcement mixed in concrete shall be measured and paid separately as 'Supply only' under the relevant item of this schedule.
Supply only non-circular synthetic fiber 6/12mm long design for meeting point of 240-260 degree C as secondary reinforcement (Recron-3s from Reliance Industries Ltd). Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Material and labour for forming 20mm wide expansion joint to full depth of concrete slab filled with polyurethane joint sealant compound using mechanical means to a depth of 12mm (depth minimum above the back-up rod) with minimum performance guarantee of 10years and minimum Movement Accommodation Factor (MAF) +30% confirming to the requirement of BS: 5212, BS: 4254 and EN-141875 : 2003 for Hydrolysis/ water resistant test including two coats of primer and providing 25mm dia, (approved quality closed cell polythene back up rod separated by bond breaker tape) over polymer board in position as required all as per Manufacturer’s Instructions complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Material and labour for forming 10x25mm wide construction joints filled with polyurethane joint sealant compounds using mechanical means to a depth of 10mm (depth minimum above the back-up rod) with minimum performance guarantee of 10years and minimum Movement Accommodation Factor (MAF) +30% confirming to the requirement of BS: 5212, BS: 4254 and EN-141875 : 2003 for Hydrolysis/ water resistant test including two coats of primer and providing 12mm dia (approved quality closed cell polythene back up rod), applying masking tape on edge of joint to prevent accidental slippage of sealant on top surfaces and to give a neat finish to the sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied as required complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Material and labour for forming 8x85mm wide contraction (dummy) joint (using diamond cutter) and filled with polyurethane joint sealant compound using mechanical means to a depth of 10mm (depth minimum above the back-up rod) with minimum performance guarantee of 10 years and minimum Moment Accommodation Factor (MAF) + 30% confirming to the requirement of BS: 5212, BS: 4254 and EN-141875 : 2003 for Hydrolysis/ water resistant test including two coats of primer and providing 10mm dia, (approved quality closed cell polythene back up rod), applying masking tape on edge of joint to prevent accidental slippage of sealant on top surfaces and give neat finish to the sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied as required complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Material and labour for preparation of new concrete surfaces over exc 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of road marking paint (White/snow/black/golden yellow/orange/signal red), water based over a coat of primer in lines, dashes arrows, letters etc all as specified.
