Supply of Manpower for Maintenance of Horticulture Work in IIT, Delhi for the year 2026-27

Supply of Mali (12 months—48 Mali's, Job responsibilities : Malis shall be primarily responsible for carrying out routine horticulture maintenance works such as grass cutting (manual and mechanical), watering, weeding, hoeing, preparation and upkeep of flower beds, hedge trimming, nursery activities, planting, and general garden maintenance, including the use of tools like khurpa, patti, secateurs, and billhook. They shall perform all assigned tasks and ensure proper upkeep of lawns, plants, and garden areas during an 8-hour daily shift and as per the instruction of the officer-in-charge.

Supply of Senior Mali (12 months - 14 Senior Malis, - Job responsibilities: Senior Malis, in addition to performing all duties of Malis, shall be responsible for supervision and monitoring of horticulture works, allocation and distribution of tasks among Malis, ensuring quality and timely completion of work, and assisting in planning day-to-day maintenance activities. The ratio of senior Mali to Mali shall be maintained at 1:3 as per approved norms, with duty hours of 8 hours per day and as per instruction of the officer- in -charge.)

Supply of Driver (12 months - 3 Driver's, Job Responsibilities: Drivers of tractors and associated horticulture equipment, including trolleys, water tankers, shrub masters, and other machinery required for maintenance works. The drivers shall be responsible for safe operation, handling, and routine upkeep of the assigned vehicles/equipment with duty hours of 8 hours per day and as per instruction of the officer- in- charge.

Supply of Supervisor/ Computer Operator (12 months- 1 Supervisor/ Computer Operator) Job responsibilities of supervisor shall be to carry out all duties, including office work, supervision and coordination of maintenance activities, with duty hours of 8 hours per day and as per the instruction of the officer-in-charge.)
