Manning & operation of Central AC Plant of water cooled chillers 3Nos. x 50 TR (Two running,one standby) Total 150 TR of existing make: voltas for smooth functioning of entire system and to maintain temperature of AC plant consisting of the following items fitting/ fixtures/ device components for operation at INS SHIKRA . 16 hrs daily including Sundays and Holidays in two shifts.(i.e 0600 to 1400 Hrs,1400 to 2200 Hrs ) one AC plant operator - Skilled per shift ( 01 person x 02 shifts x 11 months = 22) and taking care of cleaning etc any pilferage, theft or damage etc complete for the following:- (a) Compressor model No. ACCWC05000MNT-03 Nos. (b) Compressor motor 60HP-03Nos (c) Condenser / chiller water pump set mono block 10/7.5HP-04Nos. Notes for item no 1.00 and 2.00- i) The cost of employment of supervisior and any assitance required to operate and maintain the installations by operating staff shall deemed to be included in above offer. ii) Each shift shall be of continuous 8 hours durations. As per industrial act one person should not be continued on duty for more than 06 days and he should be given weekly off day for his personal maintenance and one reliver should be employed for off duty by arrangement of contractor without any extra cost to the Govt.The rate quoted includes Oustourcing for operation & maintenance of installation on all days including Sundays/Gazetted Holidays. iii) The cost of maintenance of documents installations charts and daily records as clarified under relevant particulars specifications shall deemed to be included in the rates quoted for above items. iv) The location of AC plants to be outsourced are lying inside restricted area and therefore the contractor/operating staff shall comply to all security measures/restrictions imposed by the unit from time to time. v) The contractor has to arrange the dry/wet bulb thermometer for recording hourly room temperature.

(vi) The cost of maintenance of documents installations charts and daily records as clarified under relevent particulars,specification shall deemed to be included in the rates quoted for above items. (vii) The quoted rate deemed to be inclusive for provision of reliever duty and leave periods (viii) The operator on duty should have proper uniform in light blue colour shirt and dark blue trouser duly printed name as MES and contractor with all protective arrangement during the duties like shoes etc and required tools for operation and maintenance of installation.The rate quoted deemed to be inclusive of minor servicing like greasing of bearings, replacment of glands/ rubber coupling, belts etc.Periodical cleaning of cooling tower and AHU filters is contractors responsibility. (ix) The installation will be handed over in operating state on the commencement of contract though work order. (x) Antecedents of the Personnel engaged by the contractor to carry out the work shall be verified from police authorities and accordingly security passes shall be issued. (xi) The contractor shall be solely responsible for all personnel deployed for carrying out the above jobs and all transport required for conveyance. The rate quoted deemed to be inclusive of EPF, insurance etc all as per latest norms of labour Commissioner. (xii). The labourers shall be provided with protective devices and shall wear them while working. In case any accident/ injury/ fatal or partial disability happened, the contractor shall be solely responsible for settling all claims/ compensation. Department will have a right to recover any sum indicated/ claimed by Labour Commissioner/ Court directive. (xiii) Contractor will render a certificate/ confirmation every month that minimum wages act is not violated and every employee engaged have been paid their wages only through individual bank account laborers in full and receipts there on obtained. (xiv) In case the absence of operator , the Accepting Officer and the Engineer-in-Charge (GE and AGE E/M) shall impose penalty of Rs 500/- per hour.

(xv) The rates quoted by the contractor shall be deemed to be included provision of all latest labour laws / regulations including all relevant taxes as applicable. (xvi) The bidders are advised not to quote rate less than minimum fair wages as circulated by competent authority. If the quoted amount is less than the estimated cost given at at page no 14 of SCH A NOTES the lowest bidder will have to depost FDR/BGB as elaborated herein after in favour of Accepting Officer within 07 days of opening of financial bid (cover No 2). (xvii) The deposited amount shall be the difference between estimated cost as given at page no 14 of SCH A NOTES and amount quoted by lowest bidder for respective item. FDR/BGB shall be released only after satisfactory completion of work. If the contractor fails to pay minimum wages to employees, the department shall have right to with hold the said amount which will be verified by GE. The decision of Accepting Officer regarding amount to be withheld shall be final and binding. The withheld amount will be utilised by GE for payment to employees if contractor fails to pay minimum wages and balance amount if any shall only be released. If the lowest bidder fails to deposit the amount as stated above within 07 days, the contractor shall be banned for 06 months & his bid shall be rejected. The contractor shall submit 03 Nos of BGBs/FDRs of equal amount as mentioned above. The BGBs/FDRs validity shall be for 04 months, 08 month & 12 months respectively for the purpose of encashment release as the case may be. (xviii) The rates quoted shall be inclusive of suitable reliver whenever necessary as required and directed by the Engineer in charge.

Note: (Major spare parts, compressor oil and refrigerant for topping up will be measured and paid seperately herein after as supply only).

Material and labour for pumping down the plant to preserve the existing in refrigerant gas & leak testing of plant by charging of nitrogen gas in to entire plant & monitoring for 24hrs to find the leakages, rectification of leak by brazing & replacement of necessary gasket packing wherever required including copper tubes of suitable size vacumising of the plant by vacuum pump & keeping 24hrs for testing including rectification of leakages if any finally recharging of existing refrigerant gas to the plant and topping up of refrigerant if required to maintain the standard pressure complete testing of the plant for smooth functioning complete all as specified & as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling AHU of 3 x 50TR capacity AC plant carefully by removing side and top panel removing unserviceable blower shaft bearings,removing motor & blower assembly, replacement of new AHU blower shaft bearings reassembling blower assembly and refixing electric motor & top side panel in original position with new nut bolts washers & shafts keys & checking the shafts balancing & testing for smooth running all as specified and directed at INS SHIKRA.

Dismantling AHU of 2 x 32.5TR capacity AC plant carefully by removing side and top panel removing unserviceable blower shaft bearings,removing motor & blower assembly, replacement of new AHU blower shaft bearings reassembling blower assembly and refixing electric motor & top side panel in original position with new nut bolts washers & shafts keys & checking the shafts balancing & testing for smooth running all as specified and directed at INS BOATPOOL.

Removing the unserviceable liquid line valve of size 40 mm dia from the liquid line after pumping down the compressor & supply and fixing new liquid line valve 40 mm dia including connected works as required for smooth functioning of AC plants complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Removing the unserviceable liquid line valve of size 65 mm dia from the liquid line after pumping down the compressor & supply and fixing new liquid line valve 65 mm dia including connected works as required for smooth functioning of AC plants complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Material and labour for dismantling FRP cooling tower of capacity 50x3 TR at INS Shikra by removing CT Fans, sprinklers, PVC filler and clean cooling tower body by removing scale , dust, dirt and refixing PVC filler by cleaning with diluted HCL solution reassembling, connecting , cleaning external surface and applying two coats of approved synthetic enamel paint including writing SM number/ marking and testing etc. complete all as specified and directed

Taking out old unserviceable cooling tower nozzles and supply and fixing new cooling tower nozzles suitable for 3x 50 TR Mihir make cooling tower as per existing at INS Shikra

Material and labour for disconnecting condenser for descaling, plugging them & providing of 15mm tee out let for local circulation of mild acid solution in the condenser (separate container and small pump set to circulate diluted acid solution to be used) PH value of solution to be circulated & to be kept 4 and checking frequently i.e. every one hour during the operation of Scalgun WS solution to be used for descaling purpose after 2 to 3 hours of cleaning if ph value remains less than 7flush with fresh water mixed with sodium carbonate tubes and cleaning with nylonbrush after closing the end covers, circulating diluted acid solution as specified above, to maintain PH value as above & flushing the same with fresh water including recharging of stored refrigerant up to required pressure complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and Replacement of Compressor Oil with new Compressor oil of Frizol 68 all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and errect factory fabricated rectangular square duct made out of 24 gauge GI sheet in L shaped hollow profile including all accessories such as corner, carriage bolt hangers, gasket and seal the longitudinal joints with and including approved sealant complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down old unserviceable insulation from any surface and supply and fixing nitrile rubber insulation of one layer of 19mm thickness sticking on surface by using approved adhesive and sealing the joints by weather proof tape all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking out old unserviceable AHU body & supply and fixing of factory fabricated double skin powder coated GI sheet of 21 gauge, 43 mm thick puf insulated CFC free for AHU body including proper door handles, corner supports cutting, bending, welding/ brazing/ wooden work/ structural support all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Supply and fixing in repairs DX type cooling coil made out of copper of any size and any rows suitable for 30000 CFM AHU unit complete all as specified

Supply and fixing in repairs centrifugal fan blower set backward curved fan 640 RPM having velocity 8.84 M/Sec including drum and shaft absorbing power 9.6 KW along with anti-vibration spring isolators for minimizing vibrations (Blow/draw through type) suitable for 30000 CFM of the AHU unit all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repairs TEFC squirrel cage IP-55 protected VFD compatible induction motor of capacity 11 KW ,3 phase, 415 volts, 50 Hz ,1450 RPM suitable for 30000 CFM AHU unit and fixed on AHU base plate with suitable size nuts, bolts, washers including making electric connections of motors, earth connections with suitable size copper conductor cables, suction and delivery pipes connections complete all as per manufacturers instructions complete all as specified

Taking down old unserviceable AHU pre filter and Supply and fix new pre filters (EU-4)synthetic non oven type efficiency 90% down to particular size of 10 micron double knitted twisted polymer fabric (washable) rated with press drop of 6 mm WC to be mounted in AHU filter assembly size as per existing.

Material and labour for mild steel framed work with structural steel sections including nuts, bolts,washers, welding ,bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as directed including applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer complete all as specified.
