REPAIR / MAINT TO CERTAIN B/R AND E/M WORKS TO CERTAIN BLDGS AT SQA(E) VARANGAON UNDER GE (S) AHILYANAGAR

Dismantling asbestos cement sheet (corrugated or semi corrugated etc) including ridges in large patches as in roof covering complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Dismantling existing wind tie and refixing the same where required for taking down of sheets shall deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted .

S&F prepainted galvalume aluminium zinc coated galvanised iron based corrugated steel sheets 0.5 mm thick of any colour having tensile strength 550 MPA as in roof covering or ridges with side lap and end laps, hips and straight flashing fixed with self taping screws (length & girth as fixed) complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Colour & Pattern to be approved by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for all as specified and as directed.

S&F Steel work in Rolled sections section as in main and cross beams, hip and jack rafters; purlins where connected to common rafters and running rails and guides for sliding doors; fixed with angle cleats or other connecting plates. Fe 410 -W (Gde- E- 250) quality- A complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F Expanded metal exc 4 Kg per Sqm, cut to length, bent to shape required and tying with and including annealed mild steel wire not less than 0.9mm dia or fixing with galvanised steel staples supplied and fixed complete to wood or steel members

M&L for brickwork with old size fly ash bricks straight or curved on plan with mean radius exc 6m built in CM 1:6 including demolition of brick/ block/ stone masonry built in cement mortar complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in repairs, for water proofing treatment to RCC roof slab, including parapet, comprising with the following treatment/specification from bottom to top:- (a) Taking down existing roof treatment of any type and any thickness including mud in roofs, plastering, leaping plaster of any thickness cutting & uprooting trees /roots / vegetation growth & removing the debris from the site premises outside MoD land. (b) Cleaning existing surface properly including roughening the old concrete slab by picking, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust etc (c) Screed bed or bedding layer of 10 mm thick cement mortar 1:4 with mixing of WPC @ 3% by weight of cement or as per manufacturers instructions and surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement after applying a coat of cement slurry @ 3 kg/sqm for laying APP membrane.

(d) Cleaning of plastered roof surface and applying one coat of cold bituminous primer @ 0.30 ltr /Sqm conforming to IS:3384-1986. (e) APP based polymeric membrane 3mm thick (minimum), weighing 3.5 Kg/sqm reinforced with polyester non woven fabric (weighing not less than 150 gms/Sqm) shall be applied over bituminous primer as specified above by torch application. The overlaps shall be minimum 100mm on the transverse direction and 75mm on longitudinal direction. (f) Applying two coats of bituminous aluminium paint over APP membrane @ 0.11kg/sqm. Note: Water proofing compound shall be measured & paid separately.

M&L for Providing cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-0 using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate in roof kerbs, parapets and railings coping ,kneelers , apex stones , bed plates ,water throughs and the like including weathering , slightly rounded or chemfered angles and throating including taking down loose plaster, concrete complete all as specified and as directed .

Taking down chowkats or frames with shutter (without taking out shutter from the frame), area n.exc 1.5 sqm each complete all as specified and as directed.
