REPAIR RE-SURFACING OF CERTAIN ROADS, REPLACEMENT OF ROAD FURNITURE ITEMS AND ROAD PAINING INSIDE AND OUTSIDE FORT WILLIAM UNDER GE(FW) KOLKATA

Material & labour of repair to pot holes of any depth not exc 1.00 Sqm each incl sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads etc and cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth and making good by applying tack coat of bitumineous primer VG-10 at 5 kg/ 10 Sqm putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sqm, binded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3mm size and again well rammed complete all as spd & directed. Depth of pot holes exc 30 mm.

Material & labour for preparation of existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brush for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer by using paving bitumen VG-10 grade @5Kg per 10 Sqm of road surface complete all as specified and directed

Material & Labour of Bituminous premixed carpet 25mm thick (consolidated thickness) consisting of 0.34 Cum/10 Sqm of stone chippings mixed with 18.25 Kg/10 Sqm of paving bitumen(VG-30) and rolled & consolidated with 8 tonne & n.exc 12 tonne mechanical power roller to required gradient & camber to a uniform, smooth surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for premix bituminous macadam 50 mm (mix) consolidated thickness with 3.3% (minimum) paving bitumen(VG-30) as a binder by weight of total mix and grading of aggregates & design criteria as specified in SSR Part -I clause no 20.B.2.5.4(b) & 20.B.2.5.2, spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required and all as specified in para 20.B.3 & sub para 20.B.3 of MES Schedule Part I and as directed. Notes :- 1. No price adjustment shall be applicable if the approved quantity of binder as per design mixed is more than specified quantity. 2. The Contractor is advised to assess the realistic quantity of binder for the Design Mix specified above before quoting. If considered necessary, they may get the Design Mix done on their own before quoting the Tender. However, the Design Mix done prior to quoting of Tender shall not be considered for incorporation in the Work after conclusion of Contract and shall have to be done as specified above.complete all as spd and directed. 3. Contractor shall submit the authenticated weight batch receipt as per load material in site duly marked vehicle number

Material & labour for applying a tack coat over existing bituminous surface @ 0.5 Kg/Sqm of 20/30 bitumen and providing and laying 20mm thick bitumen mastic asphalt on prepared surface strictly in accordance with IS specification No5317-2002(As latest modified) with mastic i.e. bitumen of grade 20/30 @4.50 Kg /Sqm (minimum) mixed stone dust (lime stone powder with calcium value 80%) @0.008 Cum/Sqm and stone chipping of size 12.5mm and 10mm @0.0096 Cum/Sqm and sand @0.004 Cum per sqm and inerting stone graded of 22mm size with 0.017 Kg/Sqm of 20/30 bitumen per Sqm for anti skiding including all tools and plants etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for preparing bituminous surface of road and marking 2.5 mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows, letters, zebra cross etc and the like n.exc 10cm wide on roads, pavements with hot applied thermoplastic road marking paint of approved colour as per IRC 35 conforming to BS 3262-1989 with 20% glass beads (intermixed), spread and laid by automatic mechanical machine engine drive complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in repair of of Cat's eye Road stud, solar reflective type, metal body alloy, size 100mm x 100 mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector with and incl MS stud of suitable size complete and fixing as per manufacturers instructions and all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in repair of Solar Stud (blinker), aluminium alloy (100% water proofing design ) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficieny Mono crystaline solar panel 2.4V / 0.3 watt one Ni-mh rechargeable battery (1.2V / 1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd complete and fix to road with epoxy based adhesive as per manufacturers instructions and complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in repair of Road safety convex mirror of 800mm dia, pole mounted on MS heavy grade pipe 50mm dia duly powder coated with anti-rust paint, 1.2 metre high from GL with 300 mm (minimum) embedded in ground and including necessary PCC M-10 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) block and two coats of paint by hot pressing over a coat of red oxide around the pipe in full perimeter all as per IRC complete and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
