REPAIRS TO ROAD, ROAD MARKING PAINTING AND ROAD FURNITURE AT INS MANDOVI (POCKET A AND B)

Material and labour Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal)

Material and labour for Preparing black top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked, mud etc sweeping with broom and finally fanning the cleaning surface with gunny bags to remove dust particle

Material and labour for applying evenly a tack coat/priming coat with bituminous primer at 10 Kg per 10 Sqm using paving bitumen (VG -10) with mechanical sprayer over black top surface

Material and labour for applying evenly a tack coat/priming coat with bituminous primer at 5 Kg per 10 Sqm using paving bitumen (VG -10) with mechanical sprayer over black top surface

Material and labour for bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete carpet of consolidated thickness 40mm using viscosity grade bitumen VG-30 grade with 0.34 cum stone chipping mixed with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix using hot mix plant and laid with mechanical paver finish, rolled and compacted with paver roller exc 6 tonne and nexc 12 tonne capacity to required camber and gradient including premixed sand seal coat with 0.06 cum of sand mixed with 6.8 kg of paving bitumen, applied and rolled to a uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (I) Contractor shall submit the authenticated weigh batch receipt as per load material in site duly marked vehicle number. (II) The binder content specified is minimum . in case of quantity of binder as per job mix formula works out to be more the 5.5 % of weight of total mix extra quantity shall be provided by contractor without any extra cost of the Govt.

Material and labour for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5 mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc. 10 cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.

Rough excavation not exceeding 1.5 mtr deep and getting out in hard/ dense soil

Removing excavated soil exc. 250 m but n exc. 500 m and depositing where directed

Forming embankments including raising (or lowering) earth,berms and filling in roads, spreading in layers n exc. 30 cm thick; watering, ramming/ rolling and finishing to required size, shape, etc. n.exc. 1.5 m high from base in solids.

Providing and fixing in repair retro-reflectorized cautionary, mandatory, and informatory road signs as per IRC:67, made of encapsulated lens-type reflective sheeting (vide Clause 801.3 of MoRTH Specifications). The reflective sheeting shall be fixed over an aluminium sheeting, 1.5 mm thick. The sign board shall be supported on a single mild steel angle iron post of size 75 mm x 75 mm x 6 mm with a total vertical post height of 3.20 metres (comprising 2.0 metres clear height above ground level up to the bottom edge of the sign face, 0.6 metres across the sign face, and 0.6 metres embedded below ground level) as per standard MoRTH installation guidelines. The vertical MS post shall be treated with an anti-corrosive system consisting of one coat of epoxy zinc-phosphate primer followed by two coats of two-pack premium aliphatic polyurethane/epoxy finish paint of approved shade over a thoroughly prepared steel surface. The post shall be firmly fixed to the ground by means of a properly designed foundation using M15 grade cement concrete of size 45 cm x 45 cm x 60 cm, placed 60 cm below ground level as per the approved drawing. The rate shall include all materials, fabrication, labor, tools, equipment, transport, surface preparation (wire brushing/cleaning), application of the epoxy paint system, earthwork excavation, refilling, and clearing of the site, complete as per Technical Specification Clause 801, standard drawings, and the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge
