Watering of lawns hedges, shrubs with pop up sprinkler and drip irrigation system thoroughly as per the directions & specifications of Engineer - In - Charge. Note :Department has installed pop up sprinkler and drip irrigation system required for this item which will be used by the contractor free of cost .

Watering of lawns areas ,shrubs , hedges and flower beds with hose pipes & sprinkler system thoroughly as per the directions & specifications of Engineer - In - Charge . Note : The contractor shall bring the PVC hose pipes and water sprinklers for irrigating all the areas under scope of this item . Weeding out unwanted plants, grass in the garden areas consisting of lawns, hedges flower beds and shrubs using khurpi/sickle directly from roots, collecting the uprooted weeds and its disposal at designated places etc. complete as per directions of Engineer – In – Charge.

Maintenance of edges, hedges , flower beds by trimming of plants with hedge prunning shears , earthing up, hoeing around plants etc. complete as per directions of Engineer - In - Charge.

Mowing of lawn areas by mechanical lawn mower with rotary type blades collecting the mowed grass by using garden rakes and disposal of mowed grass at designated places within a lead of 3.0 KM. The mowing should be done in such a way that uniform level of grass should be maintained as per directions & specifications of Engineer - In – Charge. Note .: The lawn mowers and fuel for lawn mowers will be provided by the contractor

Maintenance of shrubs by trimming of shrubs with pruning shears once in a month to give proper shape as per directions of departmental engineers , earthing up , water basin preparation , stacking of plants as and when required with bamboo poles of height up to 2.0 m etc complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer – In – Charge

Trimming of overgrown branches of trees with trunk girth from 300 mm to 900 mm at 1 m height from ground level , by cutting of branches at all heights , making logs ,transporting the logs & stacking them properly at places shown by departmental engineers , disposal of remaining parts ,small branches fallen leaves etc.at designated places to a lead of 2 .0 km. etc . complete. The entire work has to be carried out as per specifications & directions of Engineer- In-Charge.

Trimming of overgrown branches of trees with trunk girth more than 900 mm at 1 m height from ground level , by cutting of branches at all heights , making logs ,transporting the logs & stacking them properly at places shown by departmental engineers , disposal of remaining parts ,small branches fallen leaves etc.at designated places to a lead of 2 .0 km. etc . complete. The entire work has to be carried out as per specifications & directions of Engineer in charge .

Cutting and felling trees of girth Beyond 60 cm Girth up to and including 120 cm girth (measured at a height of 1 m above ground level) including cutting of trunks and branches, removing the roots and stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

Cutting and felling trees of girth Beyond 120 cm Girth up to and including 240 cm girth (measured at a height of 1 m above ground level) including cutting of trunks and branches, removing the roots and stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable materials complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

Supply and application of organic manure @ 1.0 Kg/M2 to all lawn areas hedges edges by broadcasting the manure over the ground surface and @5 kg / each no of shrub to all shrubs, trees by ring method as per direction of Engineer- In - Charge.

Hiring of 10.00 MT capacity Mobile crane for shifting of material , lifting of tree logs ,etc. complete. The entire work shall be done as per direction & specifications of engineer in charge .

Maintenance of nursery area by watering of plants in Polybags /pots , propagation trays with rose can / hose pipe as per schedule in specification , weeding around plants in polybags / pots in polybags /pots / propagation trays once in fortnight preparing polybags pots with potting mixture as per directions of departmental engineers ,planting cuttings, suckers / other parts of plants used for propagation ,spraying of plant protection chemicals ( excluding cost of chemicals ) ,changing of plants in suitable pots /polybags as per growth etc. complete as per specifications and directions of engineer in charge . Note -: Total Nursery area for maintenance = 4500.00 m2

a) Collection of garbage waste from all plant installations , canteens, tea pantries and department in BARC plant site in hygenic manner , transportation of waste to designated places by tractor ,manual segregation of waste collected into bio degradable and non biodegradable waste , putting of biodegradable waste into composting pits in layers , depositing the reusable the non biodegradable in specified area waste as per procedure given in specifications, dumping the non usable non biodegradable waste in designated areas etc. complete as per specifications and directions of the Engineer-In-Charge . b) Removal of dead animals / birds/ reptiles from the work areas at BARC plant site as and when required. (Note: The Contractor shall engage one tractor with hydraulic trolley of 2 MT capacity for full day for disposal of garbage at his own cost. )

Hiring of hydraulic excavator for site clearance works by cutting & uprooting of wild thorny bushes ,excavation of pits for waste disposal ,filling back pits of waste from etc. complete as perspecifications and directions of Engineer-In-Charge .

Hiring of dumper at BARC plant site as and when required during contract period for transporting & dumping excavated soil at designated places, disposal of debris ,uprooted plants ,root portion etc. at designated places within a lead of 3.0 km etc. complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer -In-charge

Providing services for preparation of documentation like maintaining records of in active waste generation at site, returning of salable scrap to stores ,preparation of daily work progress reports of outsourced work of L&H section ,entry of leave,leave records of employees of L&H section, file movement of L&H section,in recording measurement in computer for bills, assiting in preparation of tender documents of L&H section ,assisting in day to day paper work like routine paper correspondence, files etc. complete as per specification and directions of Engineer-In-charge

Providing services of an experienced horticulturist for preparation of estimates , field supervision on horticultural works , recording measurements, preparation of work progress reports,work safety reports, preparation of work schedules , daily work allocation report, material inventry report , maintaining various registers required in work execution , preparation of bills of work etc. complete as per specifications and directions of the Engineer-In-Charge.
