REPAIRS TO ROADS AT CERTAIN MARRIED AREAS INCLUDING NSB AGE B/R 1 OF INS SHIVAJI LONAVLA

Repair to pot holes any depth,each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting arround edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat with bituminiou primer at 5 kg per 10 sqm, putting in pre-mixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with premixed sand seal coat (9.8kg of per 10 Sqm binder with 0.09cum of stone chipping, 6.3 mm size and, again well rammed (including supply of premix macadam, binder and chipping) depth of potholes exc 30 mm depth complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Scarifying or picking the damaged road surfaces by mechanical means of gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam not exceeding 50mm deep, surfaces in area n exc 400 sqm and removing the material outside MOD land complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Scarifying or picking the damaged road surfaces by mechanical means of gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam exceeding 50mm and not exceeding 100mm deep, surfaces in area n exc 400 sqm and removing the material outside MOD land complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

M&L for 75 mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM of Granite, Trap or basalt stone with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) , spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per item No 04 here-in-before but except stone.

Material and labour for preparing unsurfaced water bound mecadam by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags and mechanical compressor to remove all loose dirts etc and applying evenly a tack coat with bituminous primer at 10Kg per 10 Sqm with paving bitumen complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for dense bituminous macadam not exceeding 50mm consolidated thickness using hot mix plant and mechanical paver with min 4% binder (paving bitumen VG-30 grade) content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted with power rolled 8 to 10 tonnes to required cambar and gradient complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Material and labour for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags and mechanical compressor to remove all loose dirts etc and applying evenly a tack coat with bituminous primer at 5Kg per 10 Sqm with paving bitumen complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for laying bituminous SDAC (Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete) a 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, using VG 30 bitumen by mechanised paver) rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 10 ton power roller over and including preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete.

Demolition of Cement Concrete (Un reinforced) of any description and in any position of pavings complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
