REPAIR/MAINT OF CI/GI AND PPR PIPE LINE AND ALLIED WORKS AT AF STN PURNEA

Excavating in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for laying of pipes, foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in any type of soil, complete all as specified & as directed.

Returning filling in including spreading levelling watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25 mm thick for any type of soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removal of surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50 mtrs and deposited where directed at a level n.exc1.5 mtr above the starting point, complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking out old unserviceable 500mm bore GI pipes from trenches, floors, and duct etc including all fittings (defective gate valve/stop valves) and connections, including cleaning for refixing with necessary fittings & valves or removal to store complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Excavation/earth work will be measured and paid separately under relevent items here-in-after.

All as per item No 4 above here-in-before but of size 25mm bore, complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No 4 above here-in-before but of size 20mm bore, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for laying of GI tube medium grade with ISI marked 50mm bore with all fittings (such as bend, elbows, tees, short pieces of medium grade, connectors, back nuts, caps, plugs and unions etc) as required at site and also cutting pipes, screwing and for making forged bends on piping as required and laid in trenches/floor/ducts incl connecting with existing lines complete all as specified and as directed

All as per item No 5 above here-in-before but of size 25mm bore, complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking out old unserviceable 110mm bore cast iron/PPR pipes from trenches, floors and duct etc including all fittings (defective sluice valve/stop valves) and connections, including cleaning for refixing with necessary fittings & valves or removal to store complete all as specified and as directed. Re-relaying of old CI/PPR pipe of 110mm bore obtained from item No 6 here-in-before, connections in new or old position after cleaning internally & externally by wire brush with soda ash/bleaching powder, complete all as specified & as directed. Note:- Cutting, threading and necessary new fittings as required at site, if any, shall be deemed to be inclusive in the quoted rates.

All as per item No 7 above here-in-before but of size 90mm bore CI/PPR pipe, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for laying 3-Layer PP-R ( Polypropelene random copolymer) pipes 110mm bore in trenches, ground or wall SDR-7.4, PN 16 UV stabilised and antimicrobial welded having thermal stability for hot & cold water supply including all PP-R Plain & brass threaded polypropelene random fitting fixed and wall thickness of pipes shall be all as per I.S. 15801, complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No 8 above here-in-before but of size 90mm bore PPR pipe, complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No 8 above here-in-before but of size 50mm bore PPR pipe, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for cast iron fitting upto 150 mm bore bends(any type, radius and angle) tappers any type, (straight , bend,increasing, decreasing and double socket etc) Tee piece single branch, Y juction, double branch, cross( all sockets or socket and spigot) collars ,caps, and plugs complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F for fixing Gun-metal, globe or gate valves 50mm bore with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for iron pipes with union, ISI marked, conf to IS 778 , heavy class and joints between Gun Metal Gate Valve and pipe to be made leak-proof when tested to a pressure of 17.5 Kg/sq cm and including taking down old u/s complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Union or long screw have to provided before fixing of gate valve as required at site, if any, shall be deemed to be inclusive in the quoted rates.

Materials and labour for rubber or fiber board gasket joint confirming with IS 5382-1985 of 150mm bore flanged cast iron pipe and fittings including nut, bolt and washer complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No 11 above here-in-before but of size 100mm bore flanged cast iron pipe and fittings, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and Labour for making run lead joint of spigot and socket CI pipes and fittings of 150mm bore, testing for leakage after completion and test to be conducted as per IS 3114-1994. complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No 12 above here-in-before but of size 100mm bore spigot and socket CI pipes and fittings, complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking out old unserviceable sluice valve 150mm dia from existing position and S&F cast Iron sluice valve 150mm dia, conforming to IS-14846 both ends flanged heavy duty with brass spindle class PN 1.6 and flanged drilled to IS:1538 for bolts comprising of gun metal spindle with nuts and cast iron operating handle and including necessary nuts, bolts, washer and rubber gasket joint complete all all as specified & as directed.

All as per item No 13 above here-in-before but of size 100mm dia cast Iron sluice valve, complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No 13 above here-in-before but of size 80mm dia cast Iron sluice valve, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for sluice valve pit chamber of size 1200x1200x1200mm with brickwork with subclass ‘B’ bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius built in CM 1:6, 15mm thick internal and external plaster in CM 1:4 inlcluding 25x25x5 mm MS angle iron frame all around the fixed point by means of 04 Nos hold fast 150 mm long made out of flat iron 25 x 6mm embedded in PCC block 1 : 2 : 4 type B1 including hinges welded with angle iron frame and MS cover 3mm thick, MS handle of suitable size, locking arrangements and applying two coats of synthetic enamal paint over a coat of red oxide primer on steel surfaces, including necessary excavation, removing/returning filling in soft/loose soil and demolition of old unserviceable ones, complete all as specified & as directed.

Supply and fixing Butterfly valve, PN-1.6 with S.S-304 disc 100mm nominal bore, body S.G. iron, without lugs, lever operated, Nitrile/EPDM rubber lining, Test pressure PN-1.6, confirming to IS:13095, including rubber/fiber board gasket, nuts, bolts & washers etc including taking down old unserviceable Butterfly valves complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only whitish, high strength calcium based granular disinfection ALTOCH-GP, AGP45, granular size 100 BSS 1 (+- 5%), water/moisture (+- 0.5%) in 45 kg drum, suitable for drinking water and complete all as specified and as directed. Notes :- (a) Approval of chemical ( calcium hypochlorite) shall be given after verification of test certificates and their chemical analysis , strength in terms of quqntity of chlorine content. (b) The brand/make of chlorination chemical must be certified by Govt. Laboratory and confirming compliance of specification , suitable for drinking water.

Supply and fixing 1HP monoblock pump, speed 2880RPM single Phase 220-240Volts, maximum total head 100 metre, maximum operating pressure 10 bar, maximum flow rate 1 lbps (3.65 m²/hr), maximum suction lift 8 metre and nominal size (suction X Delivery) 25 x 25mm, and discharge pipe & including taking down old unserviceable ones, complete all as specified and as directed. Notes:- (i) Old monoblock pump to be depositied at MES store yard and vetted RV submitted alonwith RAR/Final Bill. (ii) The contract sum shall be arrieved at after deducting amount of schedule of credit from the total
