Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth .and getting out in hard / dense soil for laying of cable / pipes etc including taking out old brick of any description and taken as credit complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (i) Exsisting sand cushioning for cable shall not be removed.

Returning, filling in trenches with excavated soil including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for sand cushioning for protection of underground cable, consolidated and compacted with clean dry sand complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Measurement of Consolidated sand only will be considered for payment .

Material and labour for well burnt old size sub Class ‘B’ bricks, laid flat, in trenches for cable protection complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking out HT un-serviceable / faulty cable of Cross sectional area 185 sq mm, 3 core from trench / pole / cable duct carefully including bricks, pipe and stacking properly for disposing off from site or for relaying in same place complete all as specified and as directed. Note : (i) Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid separately. (ii) The rate quoted by the contractor for this item sahll include the cost of taking out brick protection/ tiles and GI Pipe etc as applicable. (iii) Old serviceable cable shall be stored properly for relaying and unserviceable HT cable of any description taken as credit .

Material and labour for Tracing out fault in 11KV underground cable of any size with the help of fault tracing machine and rectifying the same with joints as specified and directed to restore the supply complete all as specified. Note: (i). Joint kit shall be measured and paid separately. (ii) Earth work shall be measured and paid separately. However, width of trenches shall be allowed for payment as per authorized width given in SSR for each size of cable. (iii) All other necessary arrangements suitable for locating the faults deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor for this item. (iv) T&P required for the entire job shall be provided by the contractor at his own cost and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. (v) Cable required, if any shall be measured and paid for separately. (vi) Fault & location thereof shall be traced within 12 hours of intimation by the Engineer-in-Charge and shall be rectified within given time frame.

Supply and filling Transformer power oil meeting IEC 60296-2003-11, 3rd edition standard specification and ASTMD 1275B test requirements for corrosive sulpher of BDV not less than 65 KV for topping up the Power/distribution transformer HT 33 KV / 11 KV complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:-(i) Transformer oil shall be brought by the contractor in sealed standard packing in barrell of 210 ltrs capacity. (ii) Contractor shall produce the original purchase vouchers and test certificate from the manufacturer.

Material and labour for Filteration and dehydration of transformer oil by dehydration machine to achieve the die-electric strength / insulation value upto 65 KV/40KV (RMS) at standard gap of electrodes 2.5 mm for one minute in various capacity of transformers 33/11KV and 11/0.433KV including insulation testing of oil with the help of suitable equipments before and after dehydration including BDV Test complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in repairs PG clamp die cast aluminium of suitable size for fixing /clamping ACSR conductor connections for PT's CTs isolators complete all as specified and as directed.

Disconnecting, opening of Outdoor type Ring Main Unit 2 way ( one incoming and one outgoing) (Make : Schneider/ Megawin / ABB Ltd, Alstom/Crompton) of any description and any make of rating 11 KV 400/630/800 Amps capacity for servicing / overhauling, taking out and removing unserviceable / defective parts including cleaning & servicing, greasing, oiling of the parts etc and replacement of unserviceable parts with new one, reassembling the VCB after overhauling/ servicing and testing complete all as specified and as directed.

Note: (i) Replacement of unserviceable parts shall be measured and paid separately under relevent item of BOQ as supply only but fixing charges of the parts replaced /repaired is deemed to be included in this item . (ii) Servicing shall be got carried out by the authorised dealer of the VCB manufacturer and the service engineer will submit a service report and calibration certificate for each VCB. (iii) Any item not included in CA and required for successful operation of the panel will be provided by the contractor and the rate quoted by the contractor for this item shall deemed to be included the above provisions.

Note: (i) Servicing shall be got carried out by the authorised dealer of the RMU manufacturer and the service engineer will submit a service report and calibration certificate for each RMU. (ii) Any item not included in CA and required for successful testing and calibration of RMUwill be provided by the contractor and the rate quoted by the contractor for this item shall deemed to be included the above provisions.

Material and labour for Repair to distribution transformer step down 11/0.433 KV indoor/outdoor type of capacity up to 250 KVA, by dismantling the transformer carefully, opening the top cover of transformer for inspection /repair, draining out the transformer oil from the housing complete, taking out the core and winding by disconnecting the internal connections, removing the carbon/sludge deposit in transformer housing core, replacement of unserviceable rubber bushes and washers, replacement of tap changer winding and thimbles, replacement of silica gel, replacement of top cover gasket set including pasting with pasting material, replacement of worn out nut and bolts, replacement of unserviceable LT & HT bushes, cutting the burnt out winding and re-winding the same with suitable size of super enamelled copper wire as per existing guage, insulating the winding connection by using fire proof sleeve and fire proof tape, varnishing the coil, keeping the coils in electric

oven chamber for 24 hours to remove the moisture, painting of complete transformer body from outside and inside, marking of MES/SM Number etc, replacement of conservator tank glass, re-installing the core and winding inside properly, making the all connection with suitable copper lugs, filling of new transformer oil, reinstalling the top cover after cleaning and painting of housing, conservator tank, explosion vent etc, Meggering the LT and HT side of the Transformer and testing complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Winding wire for making of coils, HT/LT bushes, new transformer oil will be measured & paid for seperately (ii) Contractor is required to submit test report for repaired transformer duly signed by Engineer-in-Charge before installation.

Material and labour for Repair to LT Panel board indoor / outdoor type of any capacity having 1 No Incomer & out going MCCB's up to 6 Nos (Max) by carrying out the following works:- (i) Cleaning incomer switches, bus bar & out going switches etc thoroughly by using blower. (ii) Replacement of rusted bolts & nuts, screws, thimble etc as per existing. (iii) Replacement of Indicator lamps, Volt meter, Amps meter, VSS, ASS as per existing. (iv)Replacement of Incoming / out going switches as per existing make & model.
