Notes for Item Nos.3 & 4:- (a) Contractor has to employ minimum following staff for manning & operation of the Clarifier installations and Fire pump house at Item Nos 3 & 4 above :- (i) One skilled electrician/ Fitter general mechanic operator per shift of 08 hours (2 shifts per day) for each water supply installation at Sl No.3 & 4 above) separately havining minimum ITI qualification in respective trade from Govt recognised institute with adequate knowledge with minimum two years experience in maintenance & operation of water supply installation. The operator must be competent to carry out the minor Maintenance of water supply installation all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) One skilled Valve operator per shift of 08 hours ( 2 shifts per day) for water supply installation at Item No. 4 above separately having minimum ITI qualification in respective trade from Govt recognised institute with adequate knowledge with minimum two years experience in maintenance & operation of water supply pipes & valves. The operator must be competent to carry out the minor maintenance of water supply pipe line & valves all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Manning and Operation of water supply installation at MAP Ph-II Little Binaga in 03 (three) shifts of 8 hours each on all days including Sundays and holidays including minor maintenance /checks all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes for item Nos .5 to 7 :- (a) Contractor shall employ one fitter general mechanic/ electrician having minimum ITI qualification from Govt recognised institute with adequate knowledge & minimum 2 years experience in maint & operation of electric supply/water supply/fire fighting installation for each shift of 08 hours. Total -09 Nos fitter general mechanic/ electrician will be employeed by the contractor (03 Nos for water supply and fire fighting installation MAP Ph-II at Little Binaga, 03 Nos for water supply and fire fighting installation MAP Ph-II at Arga and 03 Nos for water supply installation at Sankrubag). The operator must competent to carry out the minor repair/maint all as directed.

Notes for item Nos 1 to 7 :- (a) The unit rate quoted shall deemed include for maintenance of earth pits, cutting & removing of vegetation and upkeep of the surrounding area, all around the bldg upto 6 mtr from the plinth protection all as specified and as directed. In case of failure, a penalty of Rs 1000/- per month per plant/pump house shall be levied and recovered from dues. (b) The rate quoted shall deemed to be inclusive of safety gear & required tools for minor maintenance. The contractor shall provide 02 Pairs of Gum Boot & 02 Pairs of Hand Gloves & 01 set of complete tool kit(Spanner,cutting pliers,pipe wrench,screw drivers,chargeable torch & tester etc) of reputed make as approved by Engineer in charge. In case of failure to provide tools kit & safety kit a penalty of Rs 5000/- per installation as mentioned under Item No. 1 to 4 shall be recovered and levied from dues of contractor

(c) The contractor shall provide 02 uniforms (pant,shirt,shoes,cap,belt and name plate ) to each operator and design of uniform shall be got approved from GE. In case of failure, a penalty of Rs 100/- per day per Operator shall be levied and recovered from dues. (d) In case of failure due to absence of operative staff, the contractor shall be liable to pay compensation of Rs.1000/- or at twice the cost of a day’s manning & operation derived from pro rata rate of Sch ‘A’ quoted rates whichever is higher (e) The Contractor shall maintain proper records of all kinds of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly or whatsoever maintenance is carried out during contract period in a binded book / register and shall obtain the signature of Engineer-in-Charge every fortnightly. The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of binded book/register.

(f) It is responsibility of contractor to deposit the employees provident fund (EPF) to the concerned authority as per the prevailing scales as laid down by the Ministry of labour for all Electrician/operator/helper (as applicable) and necessary proof to this regard shall be submitted to Engineer-in-Charge for verification and records. The quoted rate shall be deemed to be included of above provisions. In case contractor fails to produce the proof of EPF, he shall be liable for action as deemed fit. Decision of GE in this regard shall be final and binding. (g) The contractor shall maintain all the registers under various labour law rules, 2017 and shall be produced to GE and as well as officers detailed by labour department. (h) Grease and lubricating oil for Pump/Diesel Engine/DG Set shall be measured & paid separately under respective items of this schedule here in after. However the cost of labour is deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against item Nos. 1 to 2 above.

(i) The rates quoted shall be inclusive of all taxes ,cess, levies etc as applicable including GST (j) The prevailing rate,wage,contribution etc shall be as applicable as on the bid submission end date. (k) In view of COVID-19 alerts various restrictive instructions issued concerned authorities from time to time. Hence additional precautions essential for the work shall be taken by the contractor by way of provisioning of masks, hand sanitizers, gloves etc to workmen and all local instructions issued by the Concerned Authorities and Station Authorities shall be complied with all relevant safety precautions covered under Model Rules for the protection of health and sanitary arrangement for workmen (Annexure ‘C’) of IAFW-2249) shall be strictly followed. Nothing extra is admissible on this account

(l) The contractor shall also deploy additional man power as relief against weekly off,leave,holidays etc all as per existing Labour Act and shall substitute the operator accordingly for which no extra payment admissible. The unit rate quoted against items in Schedule ‘A’/BOQ shall be inclusive of this provision also. (m) The contractor shall pay the wages to the operator through e-payment i.e Aadhar linked bank accounts and Credit to their bank account. The wages shall not be less than prevailing minimum wages fixed/ increased at the time of payment by state Govt or central Govt whichever is more.The contractor shall pay the full wages of every month to the employees /operators within seven days of next month without fail.If contractor fails to pay the wages to the employees/operators a penalty of Rs.500 per day per operator shall be recovered and levied from dues of contractor.Contractor shall pay the full wages to the employees/operators,EPF to concerned authority and produce the necessary proof of the same before claiming / submission of RAR/Bill.

(n ) Each shift duration shall be 8 hours & duty timing shall be decided by Engineer-In-Charge. (o) The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include for cost of labour for daily routine maintenance for trouble free functioning of installation. (p) In case of any abnormal noise/complaint the plant should be put off same should be brought to the notice of Engineer-in-Charge. (q) The operator shall check and rectify loose connection ,water leakage ,cleaning and general upkeep of pump room /GLR/HTR and area around it . (r) The operator shall check the gland, vibration, nut bolts daily & tightening up as and when required. (s) The operator shall check level of distilled water in battery & top up as and when required. The quoted rate shall deemed to include the cost of distilled water.

(t) Check battery terminals, if found loose, tighten it property. (u) The operator employed by the contractor shall be capable of carrying out minor repair maintenance & should have well experience in electrical panel, motor, pump set & fire fightings field etc. (v) The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of cleaning material like cotton waste, brromstick,ladder etc & contractor shall ensure general area cleanliness and upkeep of the installation on daily basis. (w) Power supply for operation of electric equipments, pump sets & fire fighting equipment shall be made available by department free of cost. (x) Fuel for operation of DG set / diesel engine driven pump sets shall be made available by the deparment at free of cost. (y) Chemicals for chlorination/dozing shall be measured & paid separately under respective items of this schedule here in after only for executed quantity,however the cost of labour is deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against Item Nos.1 to 4 above (z) The routine preventive maintenance /checks shall be strictly carried out by the operator all as stipulated in the operation & maintenance manual.

Supply only calcium based granular disinfectant having chlorine concentration 65%-70% complete all as specified and as ddirected.

Supply only alum lump grade 1st quality complete all as specified and as directed. Notes for Item Nos 5 & 6:- (i)The chemicals/materials shall be supplied periodically after obtaining approval of Engineer in charge. (ii) Consumed quantity of chemical will be measured and paid. (iii) Chemical will not be used beyond expiry date.

Supply and filing engine oil grade 15W-40 for routine maintenance and topping up complete all as specified and as ddirected.

M & L for cleaning RCC underground sumps/ground level reservoirs/ hill top reservoirs of following capacities including mouths of connected pipes etc by dewatering the sumps by using a portable pumpset of suitable capacity, removing all sludge/mud/dirt etc manually, pouring fresh water in sump through another pumpset, rinsing and dewatering the sumps including removing sludge/dirt particle manually, wash the sump using fresh water mixed with sodium hypochlorite & drain out water by a pumpset and finally applying one coat of antibacterial sodium hypochlorite solution to inner surface & including cost of writing letters as "Tank cleaned on (____ Date)" using synthetic enamel paint outside the wall of RCC water tanks in prescribed format complete all as specified and as directed.
