Replacement of existing Fire door with 03 hours Fire rated doors in MAPS Plant site.

Supplying, transporting, assembling erecting / fixing complete set of 3 hours Fire rate door shutters with frames of different sizes with or without transom as per given specifications, single / double leaf galvanized MS pressed steel flush doors 60 mm thick using metal sheet of 1.5 mm thick and frame size shall be of 150 x 95 mm with metal sheet of 2 mm thickness at all elevations as per latest version of IS 3614 (Part-1), satisfying all 3 criteria (Stability, Integrity and Insulation), with or without removable panels, using galvanized MS sheets for frames and leaves, reinforcing and insulating the shutters with fire retardant like mineral wool / PUF material, grouting the frame etc. as mentioned scope of work in Technical specification in Section-V of this tender document. The item shall Include vision panel of size 200mm X 300mm for each leaf have fire rating of 3hrs. and other required accessories as per Annexure-I are to be provided along with shutter like SS hinges, mortice/any other type lock suitable to panic bar/fire door as per IS code, SS D-pull handles, SS tower bolts, heavy duty door closers, drop down consealed seal, complete with frame, necessary gaskets , premium Intumescent strip. All cut-outs shall have mortar guard covers from within to prevent grout, dirt and dust ingress. Back plate of size 400 x 50 x 6 mm shall be provided for mounting access control device. Shutters shall have no screwed, welded / fuse-jointed or riveted joints on either face and shall be rigid and free from warping and buckling. All the door shutters and frames shall be painted with one coat of approved primer and two coats of approved powder coated / PU paint. Each door shutter and frame shall have metal label identifying door number, door fire rating, and door size etc. along with date of manufacture. Frames & shutters shall be covered with adhesive based polyethylene sheets to prevent damage to surface finish during installation. Doors shall be manufactured as complete package as per drawings, door schedule and specifications. Necessary holes, chases, chipping in masonry & concrete etc. required for fixing of doors shall be made by the contractor without any extra charges and finished as per original after installation. Complete all work as per specification, drawing and directed by Engineer-In-charge. Supply and installation of single and double leaf swing in /swing out doors of all size as per door schedule with two point panic bar. Note:. Area covered by outer surface of the door frame shall be considered for measurement under this item. Payment @ 70 % shall be paid made against this item on supply and acceptance of doors at the site & balance 30% payment shall be made after successful installation of doors with all fittings &fixtures, painting etc. Tests as per IS:3614 part-II standards for 3 hour fire rating for full size door with vision panel and all fitting and fixtures shall be conducted at approved laboratory for 2 nos of different size as per schedule. One door shall be tested from first lot before shipment to site and remaining at random from balance supply. Payment for testing the door samples will be paid on SQM basis i.e. same as other door payment. No separate payment shall be made for conducting tests.

Removing of existing fire doors with shutters / fire door frames with shutters from its location by using latest tools and tackles (to minimize damages), technicians, labours etc. without additional damage to existing brick masonry wall / concrete structure. Cost includes transporting and depositing to store within a lead of 1.0 Km complete as directed by engineer. NOTE: 1. No extra payment will be made against making clear opening for executing masonry work with plaster, concreting etc. for fixing new door from item No.1. 2. Before commencing the work, all accessories fixed in existing shutters / frames shall be removed and deposited to CSM section. 3. Before Manufacturing the door Manufacturer 's expert and team shall the visit for technical review and exact and actual measurement of the all doors.
