Note:- (i) One No skilled electrician/fitter general mechanic operator for per shift of 8 hrs in 03 shifts per day, having minimum ITI qualificatation in respective trade from govt recognized institution with edquate knowledge with minimum two years experience in maint & operatation of water supply installation. The operator must be competent to carry out the minor maint of water supply installatation all as specified and as directed. (ii) One No skilled valve operator for two shift of 8 hrs in 02 shifts per day , having minimum ITI qualificatation in respective trade from govt recognized institution with edquate knowledge with minimum two years experience in maint & operatation of water supply pipes & valves. The operator must be competent to carry out the minor maint of water supply pipe line & valves all as specified and as directed.

Manning and operation of water supply installation at fire and drinking water pump house Arga bay in 03(three) shifts of 8 hours each on all days including Sundays and holidays including minor maintenance/checks all as specified and directed. The installation comprises of the following equipments:- (a) Water pump HP-75, Head – 50 m, discharge – 200 cum/hr. Make – Kirloskar Brothers, coupled with induction motor 3 phase, 415 volt, RPM – 1430, HP – 75, Make – Chrompton Greaves – 5 Nos. (b) Chlorine Dozing pump model-402, pressure-8 kg/sqcm, discharge – 160 LPH, Make – Milton Roy, coupled with induction motor 3 phase, 415 volt, RPM – 1430, HP –75, Make – Bharat Bijlee-2 Nos with connected accessories and 1000 ltr capacity PVC storage tank-01No. (c) Fire water pump HP-156, Head – 88 m, discharge – 273 cum/hr. Make – Kirloskar Brothers, coupled with induction motor 3 phase, 415 volt, RPM – 1430, HP – 156, Make – Chrompton Greaves – 2 Nos. (d) Jockey pump HP-30, Head – 88 m, discharge – 30 cum/hr. Make – Kirloskar Brothers, coupled with induction motor 3 phase, 415 volt, RPM – 1430, HP – 30, Make – Chrompton Greaves – 2 Nos. (e) Drain water lifting pump HP-1.5, Head – 11.5 m, discharge – 10 cum/hr, Make – Kishor pumps, coupled with induction motor 3 phase, 415 volt, RPM – 1415, HP – 1.5, Make – Crompton Greaves – 2 Nos.

Manning and Operation of water supply installation at MAP Ph-II Arga (Kadamba Vanam) in 03 (three) shifts of 8 hours each on all days including Sundays and holidays including minor maintenance /checks all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. The installation comprises of following equipments:- (i) Centrifugal pump set 30 HP - 02 Nos (Make- Kirloskar) (ii) Lt Panel -01 No.

Note:- (i) One No skilled electrician/fitter general mechanic operator for per shift of 08 hrs in 03 shifts per day, having minimum ITI qualificatation in respective trade from govt recognized institution with edquate knowledge with minimum two years experience in maint & operatation of water supply installation. The operator must be competent to carry out the minor maint of water supply installatation all as specified and as directed.

Notes for Item Nos 1 to 3 :- (a) Contractor has to employ minimum following staff for manning and operation of the fire pump house installations at serial item Nos 1 to 3 above:- (i) One No skilled electrician/Fitter general mechanic operator per shift of 08 hrs (Total 09 shifts per day i.e 3 shifts per day for each water supply installation at serial item Nos 1 to 3 above ) having minimum ITI qualification in respective trade from govt recognized institution with adequate knowledge with minimum two years experience in maint & operation of water supply installation. The operator must be competent to carry out the minor maint of water supply installation all as specified and as directed. (ii) One No skilled valve operator per shift of 08 hrs (Total 05 shifts per day i.e 02 shifts per day for water supply installation at SI No 1 above and 03 shifts per day for water supply installation at SI No 2 above) having minimum ITI qualification in respective trade from govt recognized institution with adequate knowledge with minimum two years experience in maint & operation of water supply pipes & valves. The operator must be competent to carry out the minor maint of water supply pipe line & valves all as specified and as directed. (b) Chemicals for chlorination/dozing shall be measured & paid separately under respective items of this schedule here in after, however the cost of labour is deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against item No 1 to 3 above. (c) Each shift duration shall be of 08 hrs & duty timing will be decided by Engineer in Charge.

(d) The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include for daily minor maintenance like checking and rectification of any water leakage, loose connection, cleaning and general up keep of pump room/GLR/HTR and area around it. (e) Diesel for running the diesel engine shall be made available by the department free of cost through CRV/IV/Gate pass. (f) The operator shall ensure general area cleanliness and upkeep of the installation on daily basis. (g) The routine preventive maintenance /checks shall be strictly carried out by the operator all as stipulated in the operation & maintenance manual. (h) In case of failure due to absence of operative staff, the contractor shall be liable to pay compensation at twice the cost of a day’s manning and operation derived from pro rata of Sch ‘A’/BOQ quoted rates. (j) The unit rate quoted shall deemed include for maintenance for earth pits, cutting & removing of vegetation and upkeep of the surrounding area, all round the building upto 6m from the plinth protection all as specified and as directed. In case of failure, a penalty of Rs 2000/- per month per installation shall be levied and recovered from the contractor.

(k) The contractor shall provide 02 uniforms (Paint, shirt, shoes, cap, belt and name plate) to each operator & helper and design of uniform shall be got approved. In case of failure, a penalty of Rs 100/- per uniform per/day after expring of 15 days of commencment of work shall be levied and recovered from the contractor. (l) The rate quoted shall deemed to be inclusive of safety gear & required tools for minor maintenance. In case of failure to provide tools kit & safety kit (Gum boots- 02 pairs, hand gloves), a penalty of Rs.3000/- per installation shall be recovered and levied from the contractor. (m) The contractor shall maintain proper records of all kinds of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly or whatsoever maint is carried out during contract period in a binded book/register and shall obtain the signature of Engineer-in-Charge every fortnightly. In case contractor fails to maint the record, a penalty of Rs 100/- per/day per installation shall be recovered from the contractor.

Supply only following chemic for chlorination/filteration of water:-

Supply only alum lump grade Ist quality

Supply only calcium based granular disinfectant having chlorine concentration 65%-70%

Note for item No 4.1 & 4.2:- (i) The chemicals/materials shall be supplied periodically after obtaining approval of Engr-in-Charge. (ii) Consumed qty of chemical will be measured and paid saperately. (iii) Chemical will not be used beyond expiry date.
