Removal/Repair of MS Circular Tree Guards around the existing fully Grown Tree (As identified by official-in-charge) i/c the following operation.
A. Removal of Existing Tree Guard:- Excavating/ removal of the existing tree guard by cutting neatly the M.S. flats/wire-mesh etc. as required at site put preferably in a straight line by an appropriate gas cutter and carrying them by mechanical transport to the designated yard as fixed by the officer in-charge for repair etc. The carriage of these tree guards shall be done in the manner prescribed by the officer in-charge. The carriage and stacking of repaired tree guards shall be on suitable place at site and refixing of tree guards should be carefully.
B. Repair of Existing Tree Guard:- The repair work shall be comprise of removing all born-out /damaged steel portion i.e.angles/ flats/wire mesh etc. (specified dimensions/ gauge) and replacing the same after necessary strengthening and bringing the entire tree guard to original shape /etc. and jointing by providing full length welding to the entire satisfaction of the officer-in-charge. The repaired /serviceable tree guards after inspection to the satisfaction of the officer in-charge shall be thoroughly cleaned by scrapping all residual paint/rust/ unwanted matter using sand paper etc. Hence after a coat of red oxide zinc chromate steel primer shall applied over it as required/ specified synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufactured of required coloured to give an even shade (one or more coat) for look new finish. The entire operation shall be done to the entire satisfaction of the officer in-charge failing which the same shall be redone for which no extra payment shall be made on this account. The stacking of finish/ repaired tree guard shall be be at suitable place at site and watch and ward of reapired tree guards part of concerned agency till they are handed over to the officer-in-charge.
