Construction of composite dam on river Machana of Sitaljhiri Medium Irrigation Project Tehsil Shahpur District Betul to impound minimum Gross capacity of 40.73 MCM, minimum Live capacity of 36.15 MCM, and minimum Dead storage capacity of 4.58 MCM (with maximum submergence of 608.07 Ha land comprising of 496.03 Ha private land, 20 Ha Forest Land and 92.04 Ha government land) on turnkey basis with all necessary features required for safety, stability of structure for passing designed flood of 7195.30 cumecs as per designed criterion of WRD, specifications, relevant IS code and technical circulars issued by department from time to time. The work also includes marking FTL and MWL line on the field and preparation of land acquisition cases under “The right to fair compensation and transparency in land acquisition rehabilitation and resettlement Act 2013”/State consent land purchase policy 2014. Construction of a pressurised Pipe irrigation system to supply water through the Rising/Gravity mains for micro irrigation to deliver at farmers field upto 05 ha with a duty of 0.38 lit/sec/ha and maintained up to 30 ha chak, keeping the discharge of minimum 10 times the duty at 1 hectare and at least 25 Meter Residual Head at each 05 ha chak for Micro Pressurized Irrigation (Drip/Sprinkler) by rotation with a total power requirement of 5.25 MW in the Culturable command area of 9200 hectare, out of gross command area 11500 hectare, fully covering the entire compact and contiguous possible arable area and any area increase/ decrease in CCA within / beyond the GCA shall be permitted with written approval of Chief Engineer as per the index map for Micro Irrigation System under Sitaljhiri Medium Irrigation project. It includes all activities starting from survey, investigation, designing, procurement, construction, laying, installing, etc of gravity mains, main line, branch lines, distribution network, controlling and regulation system etc for supply of water for irrigation under pressure with SCADA and automation and construction of approach roads as per PMGSY. The work including defect liability period for 60 months and Management, Operation & Maintenance (MOM) of complete commissioned system (MOM) for the period of 60 months after completion. MOM period is further extendable for another period of 60 months.
