Supply and fabrication of steel sections of approved quality (manufactured by TATA/ IISCO/ SAIL/ RINL, Vizag etc.) [Steel to conforming to IS-2062 quality "B0" Grade Designation E250 for weldable material and as per IS-2062 Grade-A (minimum) for other material] for making of 1 welded steel bridge girder as per RDSO's approved drawing of 25T loading standard including bearing complete in all respects as per direction of Engineer or his authorised representatives at site. The rate shall include transportation upto work site/ fabrication site, loading, unloading with all lead, lift, ascent, descent, crossing of obstruction with Contractor's own labour, tools & plants and taxes, royalties etc. complete. All left over or cut pieces of steel section will be Contractor's material.

Assembling, erection & launching of newly fabricated girder on bed block of abutment/ pier, true to line & level including positioning and fixing of Bed plates and fixing HFSG bolts with nuts and washers, holding down bolt, making holes for HD bolts in bed blocks & grouting the same with Epoxy based compounds complete in all respects with commissioning the bridge to Rail traffic with Contractors own materials, labour, tools and plants etc. as directed by the Engineer. This work will be done under traffic/ traffic block. No idling charge will be paid by the Railway due to inconvenience caused by train running. Rate should be quoted including making temp. arrangements/ stagings for resting of new girders, released old girder and stacking on the berm of the Railway embankment launching of the new girders and removing the temporary arrangements/ staging after completion of work. Lifting of existing steel girder upto 150mm with all tools, plants, labour, consumables, machinery and accessories etc. as per direction of the Engineer in charge or his authorised 4 representatives at the site of work complete in all respect. Delaunching of existing girder from its position at a safe distance as per direction of engineer in traffic block include making of necessary arrangement for removing/ slewing of girder, 5 staging, clearing, shifting/ transportation, all loading ,unloading, handling, re-handling with constractor's own labours, tools, plants and all materials like CC Crib, Tressle col. channel etc, including all lead, lift, descent, crossing of track/ obstruction etc, complete in all respects as per direction of Engineer. This work is inclusive maling of temporary arrangements as required & removing the same when not required.

Providing and laying boulders apron for making of Island on river bed for temporary 6 arrangement of regirdering work with stone boulders weighing not less than 35 kg each with voids filled with spalls complete as per drawing and Technical Specification. The water-way should be cleared after completion of work.

Construction of Temporary platform/base of boulder/sand bags with suitable 7 protection by pilling, sausage crates/wooden bally, sheet piling or any other suitable materials as required for staging in river for launching of new girder and realeasing existing girders.
