Construction of circular manholes in brick masonry with country bricks of class designation 35 in circular manholes, providing and laying 200 mm thick of cement concrete 1:4:8 (one cement, four coarse sand and eight hard broken granite stone aggregate of 40 mm nominal size), side walls with country bricks in cement mortar 1:4 (one cement and four sand) as shown in drawings. Cement plastering with inside and outside walls in CM 1:3 (one cement and three fine sand) with 20 mm thick using Sulphur Resistants Portland Cement (SRPC), providing, benching and channeling with CC 1:11/2:3 (one cement, one and half sand and three hard broken granite stone aggregate of 20 mm nominal size), finishing bottom 20mm thick cement plaster in C.M 1:3 (one cement and three fine sand) with neat cement using SRPC cement, providing and fixing of 560 mm dia heavy duty SFRC covers with frame made as per IS 12592 in accordance with "CPHEEO Manual on Sewerage & Sewage treatment and relevant IS Codes". Fixing of C.I/PVC steps as shown in drawings, but excluding its cost which will be paid separately. The cost also includes the cost of curing and testing of the manholes for its water tightness. A drop in water more than 5 cm in 24 hours shall not be permitted. The rate including cost of circular SFRC cover and frame 560 mm dia, but excluding the cost of earth work excavation - 1200 mm dia and 1000 mm deep

Construction of circular manhole of 1.40m internal diameter and to the depth detailed below with R.C.C. kerb in 1:1.5:3 (one cement ,one and half sand and three HBG stone aggregate of 20 mm nominal size) with a overall size of 500 x 340 mm and shaped at bottom as shown in drawing to receive M.S. angle of size 100 x 100 x 10 mm as cutting edge, with reinforcement not less than 70 kg as indicated in drawing, and with vertical rods of 12 mm diameter at 60 cm c/c, 120 cm long to bind the steining wall and kerb, bottom plugging to a depth of 0.50 m with plain cement concrete 1:1.5:3 (one cement ,one and half sand and three HBG stone aggregate of 20 mm nominal size) with walls as detailed below. Providing relieving arch over the sewer pipe wherever it passes through the walls of the manholes, fixing of C.I. Rungs, excluding cost of CI rungs,fixing of C.I. / PVC steps as shown in the detailed drawing for which payment will be made extra, providing and fixing of 600mm dia Heavy Duty FRC cover with frame made IS 12592 - 2002 (i & ii) and latest revision in accordance with "CPHEEO Manual on Sewerage & Sewage treatment and relevant IS Codes" in cement concrete 1:1.5:3 (one cement ,one and half sand and three HBG stone aggregate of 20 mm nominal size) all shown in drawing, the rate includes cost of manhole FRC cover with frame, centering, shuttering

and reinforcement with TMT(TISCON / VIZAG / IISCO / SAIL) bars excluding the cost of earth work excavation. Plastering both inside and outside for 20 mm thick with CM 1:3 (one cement and three sand) and making channels in cement concrete 1:1.5:3 (one cement ,one and half sand and three HBG stone aggregate of 20 mm nominal size) all as shown in drawing , rendered with cement mortar 1:3 (one cement and three sand) for 20 mm thick etc., complete including curing and testing the manhole for water tightness. A drop in water level more than 50 mm in 24 hours will not be permitted - For Manhole 2.5m deep with wall of 23cm thick upto 1.5m and 34cm thick for depth greater than 1.5m of brick masonry using best available country bricks in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement & 4 sand).

Making C.I. vent shaft using 150 mm diameter C.I class LA conforming to IS 1536 with C.I cowl / wire guard balloon at top,having an over all length of 5.50 m long and fixing from bottom and overflow pipe size of 150mm dia,extending to a depth of 1.25 m below ground level, with C.I. bend of 150 mm dia medium class conforming to IS 1538 at bottom and resting over the CC block of size 650 x 650 x 250 mm in 1:4:8 mix (one cement, our sand and eight hard broken granite stone aggregate of 40 mm nominal size) encasing all round the pipe with CC 1:4:8 mix (one cement, four sand and eight fhard broken granite stone aggregate of 40 mm nominal size) to form a block of 650 x 650 x 1000 mm and top is finishing with cementconcrete 1:1.5:3 (one cement ,one and half sand and three HBG stone aggregate of 20 mm nominal size) for 250 mm thick including fixing of M.S. foundation bolts and nuts of 20 mm diameter and 600 mm long with split up end and bottom to receive the C.I. pedestal of 175 mm internal diameter and 600 mm height and weight not less than 150kg to join above and below ground level.The rate includes the cost of C.I. specials and C.I.
