REPAIR AND IMPROVEMENT OF STREET LIGHTS ALONGWITH CONNECTED ITEMS (ZONE A, B AND C) AT DALHOUSIE

XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, cross sectional area 6 Sqmm 2 core laid in trenches passing through pipe/ ducts/ surface of wall/ ceiling using necessary clamps, screws and saddles etc including testing and taking out old unservicable cablecable covers complete all as specified.

Note for Serial Item No 1 & 2:- Excavation & earth work, cable covers and sand cushioning shall be measured and paid under respective items of BOQ.

Excavation in trenches n exc 1.5 metre wide & n exc 1.5 metre in depth for foundation etc or for shafts, wells, cesspits manholes, pier holes, for laying of cables etc n. exc 10 Sqm on plan n exc 1.5 metre in depth and getting out in any type of soil, complete all as specified.

Sand cushioning to Underground Cables complete all as specified in clause 19.75 of SSR Part-I laid before and after laying of cablesall as specified and directed. (Note:-Punned thickness of sand shall be measured for payment).

Sub class ‘B brick, old size, brick covering laid dry, flat, transversally along the length of cable on sand cushioning, with width equal to the length of the brick, complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of excavated material to be distance n.exc 50 metres and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 metres high from the starting point, all as specified.

Returning ,filling in, including spreading,leveling,watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm thick in each layers complete all as specified and directed.

Isolating, Disconneting and Dismantling and taking bown carefully old unserviceable street/ security light fittings from 9 metres pole/ walls of capacity 250/ 150/ 70 watts MH/ SV 4X14W,1X85 Watts CFL light fittings all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Roadway lighting luminaire, LED street light 72 watts, IP-66 having aluminium housing with toughned glass on 9.00 metres poles/ walls including aluminium pvc insulated wire 2 sqmm as required at site and connecting the same to the cable with the help of the connector all as specfied and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make:- Cat Part No LSTP-72 CDL-M of CG or equivalent in makes mentioned in Appendix 'C' .

Roadway lighting luminaire, LED street light 30 watts, IP-66 having aluminium housing with toughned glass on 9.00 metres poles/ walls including aluminium pvc insulated wire 2 sqmm as required at site and connecting the same to the cable with the help of the connector all as specfied and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make:- Cat Part No LSTS-30 CDL-M of CG or equivalent in makes mentioned in Appendix 'C' .

Taking bown carefully unservicable LED street/ security light fittings of capacities 20/ 25/ 30/ 70 watts from 9.00 metres pole/ walls, replacement of unservicable spare parts i.e. electornic driver etc and making the fittings serviceable, testing on completion and refixing the same on it's original position with and including aliminium PVC insulated wire 2 sqmm as required at site and connecting the same to the cable with the help of the connector all as specified and directed. NOTE:- Spare parts for repairing of light fitting will be measured & paid seperately under respective items of BOQ as supply only.

Supply only high end electronic driver suitable for 20 watts LED steet/ security light fitting of make as of light fitting all as specified and directed.

Supply only high end electronic driver suitable for 25 watts LED steet/ security light fitting of make as of light fitting all as specified and directed.

Supply only high end electronic driver suitable for 30 watts LED steet/ security light fitting of make as of light fitting all as specified and directed.

Supply only high end electronic driver suitable for 72 watts LED steet/ security light fitting of make as of light fitting all as specified and directed. Note for Serial Item No 12 to 15:- labour for fixing shall be deemed to be included in unit rate quoted by bidder for Serial Item No 11 above.

Renewal of street light bracket made out of 40mm dia light grade GI pipe 1.50 metres long, bent to shape as required and fixing to poles/ walls with two Nos steel clamps made out of 25x4mm thick mild steel flat including suitable nuts, bolts and washers etc complete for fixing of street light fitting including taking down existing unservicable brackets all as specified and directed. Note:- Disconnecting and refixing the light fittings on bracket shall be deemed to be included in unit rate quoted by bidder.

Renwal of Decorative post top lantern, 360° indirect light with IP-65 protection, resistant to impact and corrosion, glare free and better uniformity of capacity 40 watts all as specified and directed. Make:- Cat Part No LPTO-40 CDL of CG or rquivalent in makes mentioned in Appendix 'C'.

Renewal of IP-65 rated LED bollard with robust design and efficient light distribution of rating 10 watts all as specified and directed. Make:- Cat Part No LBLTW-10-CDL of CG or equivalent in makes mentioned in Appendix 'C'.

Dismantting and taking down old unservicable ACSR conductor from poles and removing from site complte all as spd and directed.

Aluminium conductor, steel reinforced (ACSR) conductor for LT lines on steel tubular/ PCC poles, stretching without kinks and bends including binding wire complete all as specified.

Shackle type insulator porcelain vitreous white, brown or green 75mm high and 90mm dia for conductor of working pressure 1100 volts including galvanised mild steel straps of 31x3mm size, 12mm dia insulator bolts, washers and nuts , complete all as specified including taking down old insulators of any type, shape and size, all as specified and directed.

Structural steel work as in cross arms, bracings, supports, clamp and back plate fabricated from steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed by Engineer-in-Charge and applying two coats of aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer including preparation of surfaces and dismantling old structural steel work in cross arms and stacking at site, complete all as specified and directed.
