Maintenance of all garden lawns & mexican grass / dhoob grass (Arugampul), flower beds, hedges, seasonal / perennial plants, and plants/trees available inside and outside of CISF office, Admin, Information centre, infront of Green gate area, VOC Statue, infront of beach water tank, Community Hall, VOC Children’s park, Guest House, Port School, Port Nursery, Port Hospital, Backyard of Port Nursery, TTPS Roundana, opposite to voc statue, around 22KVA substation, inside auto workshop, opposite to custom office and infront of information centre etc., and other places to the total extent of about 1,06,751 sqm plantation area in Port premises shown by the departmental officials by engaging 35 no of Unskilled labours daily watering, weeding cut grasses, hoeing the soil around plants, removing the rubbish and dried leaves, cutting grass, removal of excess water if any during rainy season and any other related works etc., complete and as directed by the departmental officers.

The work inclusive of maintaining the rings around the plants, operate the motor pump, monitoring the drip irrigation/sprinkler system to watering the plants/ lawns, Trimming, monitoring the growth of trees, spraying medicine & fertilizer to safeguard the plants/lawns etc., wherever necessary instructed by the departmental officials. Complete and as directed by the departmental officers.

Engaging 1 no of Horticulturist having the qualification of Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture. for monitoring the growth of the plants/trees and maintain the all garden and lawns, herbal plants available in the Port premises, orchard plants area etc., and other places mentioned by the departmental officials by giving suitable instructions to the workers/supervisor and suggestion if any to the Departmental officers in connection with the maintenance of plantation/trees in Port premises. Complete and as directed by the departmental officers.

Engaging 1 no of Supervisor for monitoring all garden and lawns, plants, trees to ensure the watering, cleaning and trimming etc., and to supervise the workers. The Supervisor shall monitor the proper function of the drip irrigation system/Sprinkler system, ensuring plants growth and greenery of lawns etc. The supervisor shall also prepare and maintain the labour and wages, records properly and shown to departmental officers complete and as directed by the departmental officers.

Supply of Urea as and when required by the Port for maintaining the available trees, Plants including application of Urea in the identified area and cost of Urea, labour etc., complete and as directed by the departmental officers.

Supply of Potash as and when required by the Port for maintaining the available trees, Plants including application of Potash in the identified area and cost of Potash, labour etc., complete and as directed by the departmental officers.

Supply of Gypsum as and when required by the Port for maintaining the available trees, Plants including application of Gypsum in the identified area and cost of Gypsum, labour etc., complete and as directed by the departmental officers.

Supply of Vermicompost as and when required by the Port for maintaining the available trees, Plants including application of Vermicompost in the identified area and cost of Vermicompost, labour etc., complete and as directed by the departmental officers.

Supply of Diammonium phosphate (DAP) as and when required by the Port for maintaining the available trees, including application of Diammonium phosphate (DAP) in the identified area and cost of Diammonium phosphate (DAP), labour etc., complete and as directed by the departmental officers.

Supply of Monocrotophos as and when required by the Port for maintaining the available trees, including application of Monocrotophos in the identified area and cost of Monocrotophos, labour etc., complete and as directed by the departmental officers.

Supply of Ekalux as and when required by the Port for maintaining the available trees, including application of Ekalux in the identified area and cost of Ekalux, labour etc., complete and as directed by the departmental officers.

Supply of Dithane M-45 as and when required by the Port for maintaining the available trees, including application of Dithane M-45 in the identified area and cost of Dithane M-45, labour etc., complete and as directed by the departmental officers.

Supply of Bavistin as and when required by the Port for maintaining the available trees, Ekalux includingapplication of Bavistin in the identified area and cost of Bavistin, labour etc., complete and as directed by the departmental officers.

Collection and Supply of good quality Red earth from Vagaikulam and conveying by road with an average lead of 26 KM & stacking at site for pre-measurement including cost of materials, conveyance of red earth, labour, tools & plants etc., complete and asdirected by the departmental officers.

Collection and Supply of good quality Cow dung manure (well dried manure) from Tuticorin town and conveying by road with an average lead of 13 km & stacking at site for pre-measurement including cost of cow dung manure, conveyance, labour, tools & plants, etc., complete and as directed by the departmental officers.

Supplying and laying of Mexican Carpet grass (Ready made sheet) at site for transplanting in the lawn area. The rate shall include transportation, loading, unloading of grass carpet along with underlying rooting medium without damaging the roots etc., complete and as directed by the including cost of Mexican Carpet grass (Ready made sheet), labour, tools & plants, etc., complete and as directed by the departmental officers.

Supply and planting of Golden Duranta Border plant saplings wherever required for gardening including cost of sapling, labour, tools & plants, etc., complete and as directed by the departmental officers

Supply and planting of ornamental plants for gardening (i.e.) Alamanta, Ficus, Mosantha, Xeroa, Blue Marica, Jet ropa, Cactus, Crotons, Yellow palms, X Mas tree to a minimum height of 2.5 feet including cost of saplings, labour, tools & plants, etc., complete and as directed by the departmental officers.

Supply of good quality Clay Flower Pots for gardening purpose of size 1' dia. and 1' height without any crack or damages. The cost inclusive of conveyance, loading, unloading, labour charges etc., complete and as directed by the departmental officers.

Supply of good quality Cement Concrete Flower Pots for gardening purpose of size 1' dia. and 1' height without any crack or damages. The cost inclusive of conveyance, loading, unloading, labour chargesetc., complete and as directed by the departmentalofficers.

Engaging One No. of Tractor fitted with water tanker (6000 litres capacity) in good condition with Driver and One Male Mazdoor for watering the plants wherever required. The cost inclusive of tractor hire charges, fuel, driver bata, labour charges etc., to execute the work and complete the work to the entire satisfaction of the departmental officers. Note : Water will be supplied by VOC Port Trust at free of cost from Port water tank.

Supply of Potable water 6000 litres per trip by engaging Tractor fitted with water tanker (6000 litres capacity) with Driver and One Male Mazdoor for watering the plants wherever required. The cost inclusive of Potable water, tractor hire charges, fuel, driver bata, labour charges etc., to execute the work and complete the work to the entire satisfaction of the departmental officers.

Engaging Lawn Mover for cutting the grass / plants including fuel, operator and required maintenance of machine. The cost inclusive of hire charges, fuel, operator bata, labour charges, etc., complete and as directed by the departmental officers.

Providing and fixing Sapling Protector (M.S. tree guard) 16-inch dia circle in plan, height 4 feet above ground level. The 2 nos MS Ring patti of size 19 x2 mm 16-inch dia welded on Top and bottom of weld mesh jali. The weld mesh jali of size 40 mm x 90 mm (hole) 14 gauge 4 feet long. The vertical supportive legs shall consist of three nos of MS angle of size 19 x 2 mm 1 feet long welded on bottom MS patti. One name plate of 1mm thick M.S. sheet of size 250 x 100 mm shall be welded to the Sapling Protector (tree guard) near the middle portion of the Sapling Protector and writing the name with paint as instructed by the departmental officers.The Sapling Protector shall be conveyed and fixed to the ground at the identified site. The Sapling Protector shall be painted with one coat of primer and two coats of enamel paints of approved brand, complete in all respect. The cost inclusive of M.S Patti, Weld Mesh jali, M.S. Rod, M.S angle, M.S Sheet, Welding, painting, Conveyance, loading, unloading, fixing charges labour charges, tools and plants, etc. complete and as directed by the departmental officers.

Supplying and Planting of well growth and healthy palm tree of 10-12ft height, 2” to 3” dia and in poly bags for planting works at VOC Port. The palm trees varieties shall be Royal palm, Foxtail palm, etc, as required by the department. The cost inclusive of palm tree, conveyance,loading, unloading, labour charges for planting the palm trees etc. complete and as directed by the Departmental Officers.

Supplying and installation of 10 ft Spray radius Pop-up type Sprinkler with necessary pipe specials such as micro filter, pressure reducer, spray nozzle, pop-up sprinkler head, flexible piping, tee-connector, sprinkler caps, etc., and the joints being tightened including cost of materials, Conveyance, installations with required specials, labour charges, tools & plants etc.,complete and as directed by the departmental officers.

Supplying and installation 16mm dia lateral netafim with necessary pipe specials such as Tap Dripper, Start Nipple, Rubber Grommate, Lateral End, Nipple Jointer, Flush Valve, Control Valve, Solvent Cement etc., and the joints being tightened including cost of materials, Conveyance, installations with required specials, labour charges, tools & plants etc., complete and as directed by the departmental officers.

Earthwork excavation in trenches for foundation in sand and other loose soils not exceeding 1.50m in width and including dressing of sides and ramming of bottom lift upto 1.50m including getting out of the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed within a lead of 50m and lift of 1.50m, cost including shuttering, strutting, bailing out seepage of water wherever necessary etc., complete complying with AISS and as directed by the departmental officers.

Brick work in Cement Mortar 1:5 (M. Sand (Crushed Stone Sand)) ( One cement, five M. Sand (Crushed Stone Sand)) using chamber burnt bricks for walls in Ground Floor of the building including cost of all materials, labour, curing etc., complete complying with AISS and as directed by the departmental officers

Plastering the Brick work 15 mm thick in Cement Mortar 1:5 (Plastering Sand (P-Sand)) (One cement, five Plastering Sand (P-Sand)) for all faces of walls (even and uneven) in all floors upto full height of the building including necessary scaffolding, racking of masonry joints, cleaning, curing etc., complete complying with AISS and as directed by the departmental officers.

Applying One coat of Alkali Resistant Primer and Two coats of APEX - Exterior Emulsion Paint of approved colour and quality over the New wall surface in all floors to give an even shade after thoroughly brushing the surface free from mortar droppings and other foreign matter and also including preparing the surface even and sand paperes smooth including all materials, labour, brushes, scaffolding, etc., complete complying with AISS and as directed by the departmental officers.

Providing suitable dia. non corrosive engineering plastic moulded Clamp Saddle with SS 304 threaded metal inserted for tapping outlet suiting for 3/4” clear bore and with wide plastic strap (Engineering Plastic) with SS 304 suitable bolts & nuts. Saddle to have sealing of Thermo plastic elastomeric (TPE) material around including cost of materials, fixing for labour charges etc., complete and as directed by the departmental officers

Supplying and laying in trenches 63 mm dia. PVC inflow pipe line 6 Kg./CM2 with necessary pipe specials such as elbow, tee, union joint etc., and the joints being tightened including threading cost of pipe, specials etc., complete complying with AISS and as directed by the departmental officers.

Supplying and laying in trenches 32 mm dia. PVC inflow pipe line 10 Kg./CM2 with necessary pipe specials such as elbow, tee, union joint etc., and the joints being tightened including threading cost of pipe, specials etc., complete complying with AISS and as directed by the departmental officers.

Filling the low lying area using dredging material / available approved material by cutting, loading, transporting by deploying required equipments like excavator, tipper, with all lifts and leads to site with an average lead of 1 Km., spreading in uniform thickness, watering,compacting by deploying required equipments like grader, roller etc., The rate inclusive of conveyance, tools & plants, hire charges for machinery, fuel charges, all labour etc., complete and as directed by the departmental officers.
