SITC of Water Treatment Units of 350 KLD and 150 KLD Capacity based on Dynasand, Ultrafiltration-UF, Nanobubble, Reverse Osmosis- RO Technology for Drinking Water Treatment at IIM Indore

WATER TREATMENT PLANT Design, Manufacture, Detailed engineering, Supplying, Installing and Testing & Commissioning of Water treatment plant based on UF + RO with capacity 350 KLD. All the equipment, piping, pumps, accessories, blowers and electrical panel with their required cable tray, cables etc. Complete in all aspects, including dismantling of existing plant / machinery/other civil items and making appropiate RCC base, fencing or any other civil/electrical work required in order to complete the work as per approval & directions of Engineer-In-Charge. Daily average flow at Inlet shall be - 350 KLD Working Hours - 12 Water Characteristics - 350 KLD (Assumed Parameter from the Bore well water) PH - 6.5 – 8.5 TDS - 400 - 500 Mg/L S. Solids - 50 Mg/L Effluent discharge standard after treatment PH - 6.5 – 8.0 TDS - <100 Mg/L or adjustable as per requirement of IIM Indore S. Solids - Less than 5 Mg/L

Design, fabrication, assembling, wiring, supply, installation, testing and commissioning (SITC) of Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Motor Control Centre (MCC), suitable for 415 V, 3 Phase, 4 Wire, 50 Hz AC supply, fabricated from 2.0 mm thick (14 SWG) CRCA sheet steel with adequate reinforcement using suitable angle irons, channel sections and/or flats wherever required. The panel shall be provided with removable cable gland plates at both top and bottom, two earthing terminals, electronic energy meter, voltmeter, ammeter, lifting hooks (where applicable), and all necessary accessories. The panel shall be chemically treated with anti-corrosive treatment, finished with two coats of red oxide primer followed by approved shade powder coating. All hardware shall be galvanized with zinc passivation. The contractor shall obtain approval of panel drawings prior to fabrication. The work shall include complete internal wiring, assembly, testing, commissioning and all accessories required for satisfactory operation, complete in all respects, as per technical specifications, approved drawings and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. Note:The detailed Bill of Materials (BOM), ratings, quantities of switchgear/components, and technical specifications of the WTP Motor Control Centre (MCC) shall be as specified under Technical Specifications & Approved Makes of NIT (Page No.38-42) The items invloved broadly are as under for installation of water treatment plant as per above:

TANKS Supply, Installation & Commissioning of Steel Bolted Tanks with PVC Liner of 890 GSM having wall sheet thickness of minimum 0.8 mm. The nozzles should be MS HDG. The tanks should be equipped with all necessary accessories like External Ladder(MS), Internal Ladder (SS) of appropriate width & height, Access Hatch at the top of tank, including making appropriate RCC base in order to make it structurally sound, safe & stable fencing, making necessary platform (as approved by Engineer-in-charge) or any other civil/electrical work required in order to complete the work as per approval & directions of Engineer-In-Charge. RO Reject Tank - 50 KL

DYNA SAND FILTER SYSTEM Design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a continuous DynaSand filtration system for water treatment applications, complete with all accessories required for efficient and uninterrupted operation, including any other civil/electrical work required in order to complete the work as per approval & directions of Engineer-In-Charge. The DynaSand Filter shall be a continuous, up-flow, deep-bed sand filtration system operating without backwashing. The system shall ensure uninterrupted filtration without the need for standby filters, backwash pumps, wash water tanks, or backwash valves. The filtration system shall be designed to handle water flow rates from 30 m³/hr to 70 m³/hr and above, as per site and process requirements. The surface loading rate shall be in the range of 5–8 m/hr, with provision to operate up to 25 m/hr depending on influent water quality.

The DynaSand Filter units shall be freestanding vertical vessels fabricated from stainless steel grade EN 1.4301 or EN 1.4404, suitable for continuous operation and resistant to corrosion. The available filter unit sizes shall range from 0.7 m² to 7.0 m², allowing modular selection based on required capacity. The DynaSand Filter shall meet the following minimum performance criteria: Raw Water Turbidity: 60–70 FNU Filtered Water Turbidity: ≤ 0.2 FNU Raw Water Color: Up to 500 mg Pt/l Filtered Water Color: < 5 mg Pt/l Residual Aluminium in Filtrate: < 0.1 mg/l
