BUILDING WORKS (A) EARTH WORK,ANTITERMITE TREATMENT 2. Earth work in excavation of foundation trenches or drains, in all sorts of soil (including mixed soil but excluding laterite or sandstone) including removing, spreading or stacking the spoils within a lead of 75 m. as directed. The item includes necessary trimming the sides of trenches levelling, dressing and ramming the bottom, bailing out water as required complete. (a) Depth of excavation not exceeding 1,500 mm.

BUILDING WORKS (B) DISMANTLING, CUTTING CHASE, HOLES ETC 2. Dismantling all types of plain cement concrete works, stacking serviceable materials at site and removing rubbish as directed within a lead of 75 m In ground floor including roof. (a) upto 150 mm. thick

BUILDING WORKS ( C ) Brickworks,Concrete Works etc?36..Hire and labour charges for shuttering with centering and necessary staging upto 4 m using approved stout props and thick hard wood planks of approved thickness with required bracing for concrete slabs, beams and columns, lintels curved or straight including fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of works (upto roof of ground floor).(When the height of a particular floor is more than 4 m the equivalent floor height shall be taken as 4 m and extra for works beyond the initial 4 m ht. shall be allowed under 12 (e) for every 4 m or part thereof).(b) Above 30 mm & upto 37 mm thick wooden shuttering as per decision & direction of Engineer-In-Charge.Notes:- For shuttering in shell roof, grid roof with vertical faces folded plate, arched roof the rate in 36 (a), 36 (b) & 37 (c ) of subhead B above to be increased by 100 % . Specials of different diameter in shop out of 8 mm to 12 mm thick M.S plates supplied depart-mentally, cutting the plates to exact size & shape by gas cutting device and/or by adopting any other approved type of mechanical means, bending the same in true curvature by template and rolling machine of approved design including proper marking, levelling joints followed by electric arc welding - longitudinal and circumferential, as necessary, using standard electrodes as per I.S.specification including edge preparation, electricity charges and hydraulic testing of the fabricatedpiece all complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.[ The Engineer-in-Charge shall approve the electrodes for are welding before use.
