Periodical Check / preventive maint of HT VCB 22 KV 800 Amps, 50 Hz 700 MVA during contract period 3 times as under :- (a) Checking the closing & opening operation of VCB and functional checks and Repair/ Replacement of the defective components. (b) Overhauling and Calibration of relays (secondary injection/Primary injection on each multiple setting of relays). (c) Setting and coordination of relays. (d) Checking and recording of IR value of VCB trolley and panel. (e) Checking/repairing/rectification of the control wiring. (f) Replacement of panel heater 80 watt. (g) Replacement of worn out bushing PT/Busbar support insulators (h) Replacement of worn out bushing PT/Busbar support insulators (j) Replacement of unserviceable and Open circuit CT's.
(k) Checking fiber plates, gaskets, transformer oil and applying multi grease to the mechanical parts & dry graphite conductive sealant to contacts of PT etc. & re-assembling the same and commissioning complete to entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. (l) Testing of polarities of CT's. (m) High voltage testing with high voltage tester of CT & Breaker pole to withstand working pressure of HT 22 KV to ascertain serviceability and spare parts found defective to be replaced for smooth functioning as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (n) Labour only for Opening the busbar chamber of HT 22KV VCB panel board cleaning the bus bar chamber, inspect the CT's wiring, spout insulator & bus-bar joints & tightening if required & heating up with hot air blower to remove moisture, meggering, HV testing applying TRTPPEX(B) supplied against Sl Item No 4(b) here-in-after to bus bar & commissioning complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- (i) All spares required for replacement shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of schedule here-in-after as supply only. (ii) Machine grease, oil, liquid sealant and any minor item costing upto Rs 250 will be included in the unit rate of above item and for satisfactory function of the breakers and no extra cost will be allowed. Decision of accepting officer in this regard will remain final & binding. (iii) The overhauling of HT breakers to be carried out either through OEM's service Engineer/authorised dealer/San & Engg consultant /Triotech consultant/ those who posses HT handling license.
Supply only following spare parts required for item No.1 here-in-before (Note:- the element of fixing of spare is already included in respective Sl Item No. 1 here-in-before) suitable for VCB of 800 Amps, 700 MVA all as per sample :- (a) Spout insulator (Epoxy)
(b) TRTPPX (B) for HT 22 KV for breaker

Dismantling top cover alongwith conservator tank for filteration of Transformer oil and after draining out transformer oil up to terminal level in situ by dismantling copper bus bars HT/LV Bushing and earthing strips, replacement of LT/HT bushing and terminal rod of brass gasket, nuts, bolts & washers etc. Refitting top cover & conservator tank after cleaning and filtration, removing the sludge , reconnecting HT/LT cable/conductor and earthing strips,& filtration of transformer oil including toping up of transformer oil by adding new transformer oil having 60 KV dielectric strength and charging/testing the transformer on load complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge, for transformer of rating upto 160 KVA capacity. Note : (i) Contractor should make his own arrangement of filtration plant at each transformer sites for filtration of transformer oil including provision of electric supply to the filtration plant. (ii) New transformer oil shall be measured and paid separately. (iii) Cost of HT/LT bushing and terminal rod wiil be measured and paid separately . (iv) Filtration of oil will be measured separately.

Supply and fix in repairs Dial type temperature gauge 100mm dia with dual calibration in degree Celsius and degree Fahrenheit, range 0 to 100 c and equivalent degree Fahrenheit complete with capability tube and sensor suitable for transformer of any rating as directed by Engineer-in-Charge
Supply and filling new transformer oil having 60 KV di-electric strength and conforming to IS for replacement or topping up to oil level mark at the conservator.
Material for rewinding of transformer core with same numbers/grade of copper enameled conductor with same size of turns as per manufactures' specification and testing and commissioning transformers after repair.
Material for reinsulation of copper windings (LT and HT), Class B, with Electrical Grade Insulating Kraft paper all confirming to IEC-60554-3-5 (1984).
Filtration of transformer oil, in situ, to achieve dielectric strength of the oil not less than 50 KV all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Contractor will submit before & after testing report of transformer oil. Note :(i)Contractor will submit before & after testing report of transformer oil.
Disconnecting HT/LT and earth termination connections from transformer, taking down the transformers from plinth/platform and loading into the vehicle; transporting the same to workshop for carrying out necessary repairs and back ,reconnecting HT/LT connections at site and charging the transformer on load, commissioning and testing including meggar test at site all as directed by Engineer - in - Charge
Draining out transformer oil, dismantling top cover alongwith conservator tank, taking out core assembly after disconnecting connections, rewinding with same size and type of copper conductor and number of turns and insulating material such as paper insulator sleeves, heating etc. Putting back the core assembly into the tank after removing sludge and replacement of HT & LT bushing complete with brass terminal, refixing top cover and conservator including replacement of gasket, nut, bolts & washers (filling new transformer oil having 60 KV dielectric strength and carrying out type tests as per IS 2026 in presence of Engineer - in - charge for the following capacity :- a) 75 to 160 KVA Note : (i) New transformer oil and its filling shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of schedule. (ii) Cost of rewinding material, insulation material and spares of transformer shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of Sch . (iii) Replacement of spares will be on required basis all as directed by Engr-inCharge.
b) 200 to 315 KVA
c) 400 to 1000 KVA
Disconnecting HT/ LT and earth termination connections from Trolley Mounted Transformer (500 KVA Cap.) and towing the same to a location, within 5 KMs, as directed by Engr-in-Charge including Material and labour for making of HT/ LT and earth termination connections of the Trolley Mounted Transformer to the existing electric distribution system in Indoor/Outdoor Substation complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. NOTE - (a). Trolley Mounted transformer will be issued to contractor by MES however Contractor has to make his own arrangements of towing vehicle. (b). The job also includes disconnecting of HT/ LT and earth termination connections of Trolley Mounted Transformer and towing the same to a location as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
Testing of transformers of various capacities installed at various locations at Naval Station Karanja by performing following tests - 1.IR Value on L.V & H.V side using 500 V & 5KV Megger respectively. Note : (i) Contractor should make his own arrangement of testing equipments and electric supply so required. (ii) A detailed Test Report should be submitted to Engr-in-Charge. 2.Ratio on all the taps. 3.Magnetic Balance tests on L.V & H.V. 4.Vector group. 5.Magnetizing current. 6.Winding Resistance Test on H.V & LV terminals.
Supply and fix in repairs heat shrink right angled boots for XLPE 22 KV 120 Sqmm cable including dismantling of HT cable from HT side of Transformer / HT Breakers.
Material and labour for Heat shrinkable cable end termination joint including jointing Kit outdoor type suitable for earthed 3 core 95/120 sqmm HT 22KV XLPE aluminium conductor cable and HV test after jointing and connecting up complete all as specified and directed. Make:- Raychem/ XICON/ M-Seal/Denson
Material and labour for Heat Shrinkable straight through jointing kit with all necessary jointing material suitable for HT 22 KV XLPE 3 core 95/120 sqmm aluminium conductor cable complete all as specified and directed. Make- Raychem/ XICON/ M-Seal/Denson
Supply and fix in repairs breather assembly with silica gel suitable in situ for transformer of any rating as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Supply and fixing CRC bottle spray of 500 ml for opening of rusty surfaces and rusty nut bolts all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Taking out dry type transformer of capacity 63 KVA to 315 KVA to the workshop with necessary arrangements by giving the supply with trolley mounted transformer and refixing the same after the repairs.
Material and labour for preparation of old painted surfaces of 100 KVA transformer with scrapers, any number of coats, any width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint by spray painted including writing 5mm/MES numbers complete all as specified and directed

Material and labour for cleaning and checking the LT/HT connections of dry type transformers and taking out the moisture from the cores of the transformer of capacity 315 KVA to 750 KVA all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge
Material and labour for arresting the leakage and checking out of the LT/HT connections from the transformers of capacity 75 KVA to 250 KVA all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge
Material and labour for arresting the leakage and checking out of the LT/HT connections from the transformers of capacity 315 KVA to 500 KVA all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge

Material and labour for earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode of size 60cm x 60cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5m below the normal ground level connected with GI strip 32 x 6mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts & washers of galvanished iron steel including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, removing surplus soil to a distance not exc 50m, with and including PCC chamber in PCC (1:2:4), type B1,using (20mm graded stone aggregate),"mild steel angle iron frame" made out of MS angle iron of size 40x40x6mm thick duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer hinged with and including 6mm thick CI cover with handle, watering arrangement with funnel internally secured with wire mesh with 40mm dia medium grade pipe for watering 40mm dia light grade, GI pipe for lead protection in and including alternate layers of charcoal dust and common salt complete all as shown in electrical "plate No '3' and connected to earthing test point all as specified and indicated including testing on completion including retrieving old GI earth plate, CI cover, GI pipes, angle iron frame from existing earthing complete all as specified and directed.
Supply and fix earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or fixed to pole GI strip 32 x 6 mm all as specified and directed.
