The ground level shall be considered ignoring the bank height of the bank of the road. The length of the bore shall be minimum 4 Mtrs long. this include insertion of different dia DWC pipe/ GI pipes coupling etc. as per direction of Engineer In charge. Note:- Pipe will be supplied by railway. Contactor shall provide all material required for boring and adequate nos. of labours for proper laying of cables into the bore. Cable shall be laid cautiously so that it should not get damaged due to rough handling & pressure on cable"

Placing of DWC/RCC/GI pipes along with collars Metre in trenches at places of track and road crossings, platform cuttings etc.

Fixing of GI pipes for crossing the culverts, Metre bridges etc. and concreting of ends with brick masonry at both ends as per the instruction of Rly engineer at site.

Laying of S&T Cables of various cores/ pairs/ Metre quads in trenches/ GI pipes/ RCC pipes/ DWC pipes/ Trunking. This also includes laying of cables in track crossings & road crossings. Item includes provision of labels of coloured plastic adhesive tapes or any other identifiable material on each cable to give the cable number at each G.P.(Cables will be maggered before and after its laying by contractor under supervision of Railway Representative and he will submit the maggering report of each testing). Length of the cable laid includes the length of the cable coiled for termination purposes.

Supply and installation of RCC cable route Numbers marker engraved and painted on both side along the route every 50 M and route diversion as per Drg. No 4014/00/CC4 or latest/ Stone marker.

Providing brick masonry in ratio 1:6 cement cum and mortar including plastering with 1:4 cement and sand mixture both sides, 20 mm thick each with contractor's owned class II bricks, including excavation, curing, grouting, bolting etc. wherever required. Removal of Rail (13 mtrs.) in the way of cable Numbers route. In case of panel (39 Mtrs. Each) will be considered as three rails for payment purpose.

Removal of PRC Sleeper in the way of cable Numbers route.

Transferring of Signaling/Telecom cables from Set existing Location box to New Location box . The work include breaking/ Dismantling of Existing foundation of locations, excavating and removing / segregating coils of 2C/6C/12C/19C/24C/30C/Quad cables which may be about 10 mtrs. in length. These cables are to be disconnected and removed from the existing location one by one as per the instruction and under the supervision of Railway staff present at site. The cable is then to be inserted and terminated in new location box. The item includes neatly dressing of cable, making wiring tree etc.The material required to dressing /lacing will be arranged by contactor. The work is required to be done systematically and with due precaution during the block or disconnection within the time that may be allowed. The excavation work to be done carefully without damaging the cable to avoid undue failure. (Termination charges will be given separately). Note: Proportionate payment will be made if cable of other length. One No unit = One cable of 10 m length)

Shifting of Exposed cables. The item includes Kilometre Removal of exposed cable from existing trench & laying the same in new trenches. Digging, Placing of capping/Half round RCC pipe covered separately.

Earthwork in filling in embankment, guide cum bunds, around buried type abutments, bridge gaps, trolley refuges, rain bunds if provided, platforms etc. with earth excavated from outside railway boundary entirely arranged by the contractor at his own cost as per RDSO's latest guidelines and specifications and special condition of contract including all leads, royalty, lifts, ascents, descents, crossing of nallahs or any other obstructions. The rates shall include all dressing of bank to final profile, demarcation and setting out of profile, site clearance, removing of shrubs, roots of vegetations growth, heavy grass, benching of existing slope of old bank, all handling/re- handling. Taxes, Octroi and royalty etc. as a complete job.
