Miscellaneous Repairing, Replacement and Maintenance Work in the Centralised AC System of Bharti and SIT Building, IIT Delhi

Replacement of Condenser water pump (horizontal axial split casing, UP 100/29) by providing, installation testing and commissioning of similar type pump set, CI casing and impeller, CS shaft, mechanical seal matching with existing suction (150 mm) and discharge (100 mm) pipe coupled with not less than15 kW / 20 HP, IE2 class, 1460 rpm suitable for run on 415 V ± 10%, 50 Hz ac supply with anti vibration mounting pads, proper alignment on the existing baseframe, modifications if any required, etc. complete as required. Replacement of old and defective 125 A TPN MCCB in existing LT panel by providing and fixing of same rating and pole MCCB of breaking capacity not less than 16 kA with thermomagnetic release and terminal spreaders in existing cubicle panel board including drilling holes in cubicle panel, making connections, Ics=100% Icu and Operational Voltage 690V etc. as required. (Acceptable make: L&T / C&S / Crompton / Havells / Legrand / ABB)

Replacement of existing old non-functional 65 mm 3 Way motorised valve in AHU line by providing and installing of same size 3 way motorised control valve, self-balancing, pressure independent type dynamic balancing valve with integrated 3 way modulating control valve in a single body fitted with actuator motor and thermostat. Proper thermal nitrile rubber insulation shall be provided on the exposed parts to avoid condensation. The actuator shall be capable of accepting upto 10V DC and upto 20 mA electric signal and shall provide similar transduced feedback output to control system. Maximum close off pressure shall not be less than 6 Bar for upto 50 mm valves and 7 Bar for 65 mm & above. Valves should have pressure rating of 25 Bar minimum. Post installation, testing and commissioning shall be done to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge. (Acceptable make: Zoloto / Castle / Advance / Audco / Belimo / Honeywell / Johnson Control)

Replacement of existing old non-functional 5/8'' size 3 Way motorised valve in FCU line by providing and installing of same size 3 way actuator valve, self-balancing, pressure independent type dynamic balancing valve with integrated 3 way modulating control valve in a single body fitted with actuator motor. The actuator shall be capable of accepting electric signal from existing thermostat and shall provide similar transduced feedback output to control system, providing insulating material on the exposed parts. Post installation, testing and commissioning shall be done to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge. (Acceptable make: Zoloto / Castle / Advance / Audco / Belimo / Honeywell / Johnson Control)

Replacement of existing old non-functional thermostat by providing and fixing Digital type thermostat including integrating with the FCU actuator valve for controlled operation etc. complete as required. (Acceptable make: Honeywell / Siemens / Belimo)

Replacement of existing old non-functional Y-stainer and ball valve of size 5/8" & 3/8" by providing and installing same sized stainer and ball valve in existing FCU line etc., providing insulating material on the exposed parts, complete as required. (Acceptable make: Zoloto / Castle / Advance /Audco / BDK / LSB / Kirloskar / Indian Valve / Fouress Engineering / Intervalve)

Replacement of existing damaged siphon line with gauge by providing and fixing in position industrial type liquid damped pressure gauges with gun metal / brass valves complete with SS siphon of suitable length, providing nitrile rubber insulation jacket on the exposed parts etc. complete as required. (Acceptable make: H-Guru or similar superior make)

Replacement of existing old and non-functional thermometers by providing & fixing in position industrial type mercury thermometers complete etc. as required. (Acceptable make: H-Guru or similar superior make)

Replacement of existing old and damaged bearing of 6500 CFM AHU blower (double sided bearing) by providing and fixing fresh bearing of same type making proper alignment of blower-motor assembly, servicing the blower, etc. complete as required. (Acceptable make: TATA / SKF / NBC / NRB / Menon)

Derusting, rinsing and providing anticorrosive epoxy paint (two or more coats) on the motor and blower base-frame of AHU and metallic enclosure, cooling tower support etc. complete as required.

Replacement of damaged indicator lamp in the existing LT panel and AHU mimic panel by providing LED type phase indicating lamp of various colours as per following including making connections, etc. complete as required. (Acceptable make: Vaishno, Esbee, Rishabh or similar superior make)

Supplying and fixing 25 mm soft (flexible) braided PVC AHU drain pipe including making connection with in and out mouths with proper clamps to water-tight etc. by removing the existing leaky line, etc. as required.

Removing of existing pre-filters of AHU and fabricating, supplying and fixing of new pre-filters of washable / cleanable synthetic type on the suction side of AHU as per following specifications and size: Thickness of filter: minimum 50 mm; Efficiency: 90% down to 10 micron particle size; Material of filter frame: Aluminium; Face velocity: not to exceed 155 MPM.
