unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by
mechanical means, including loading, transporting,
unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or
as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50 m
initial lead, for all leads including all lifts involved.
Extra for cutting reinforcement bars manually/ by
mechanical means in R.C.C. or R.B. work (Payment
shall be made on the cross sectional area of R.C.C. or
R.B. work) as per direction of Engineer in-charge.
PART-B RETROFITTING
Providing and laying in position ready mixed or site
batched design mix cement concrete for reinforced
cement concrete work; using coarse aggregate and
fine aggregate derived from natural sources, Portland
Pozzolana / Ordinary Portland /Portland Slag cement,
admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS:
9103 to accelerate / retard setting of concrete, to
improve durability and workability without impairing
strength; including pumping of concrete to site of
laying, curing, carriage for all leads; but excluding the
cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and
reinforcement as per direction of the engineer-in-
charge; for the following grades of concrete.
Note: Extra cement up to 10% of the minimum
specified cement content in design mix shall be
payable separately. In case the cement content in
design mix is more than 110% of the specified
minimum cement content, the contractor shall have
discretion to either re-design the mix or bear the cost
of extra cement
5.33.1 All works upto plinth level
5.33.1.3 Concrete of M35 grade with minimum cement content

Providing and laying SBR Polymer modified (of
approved make @ minimum 2% by wt. of cement
used) plain/reinforced concrete jacket for the
structural members e.g. columns, pillars, piers,
beams etc with concrete having the specified
minimum characteristic compressive strength [with
ordinary portland cement, coarse sand and graded
stone aggregate of 10 mm maximum size in
proportion as per design criteria] with specified
average thickness all-round existing core of RCC
member. Note: Rates shall be for finished surface
area of concrete and shall include the cost of making Sqm
holes in existing RCC slab, if required, for pouring
concrete in shuttering mould of jacket and
appropriate approved Super-Plasticiser for rendering
concrete as flowable self compacting and SBR
polymer but shall exclude cost of reinforcement,
bond coat, Shear Keys, centering and shuttering,
strutting, propping etc (Payment under this item shall
be made only after proper wet curing has been done
and surface has been satisfactorily evaluated by
sounding/tapping with a blunt metal instrument) 100
mm thick in Grade M25 with cement content not less
Removing dry or oil bound distemper, water proofing
cement paint and the like by scrapping, sand
papering and preparing the surface smooth including
necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete
Reinforcement - 550D -
Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including
straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position
and binding all complete. Thermo-Mechanically
Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more.
Shuttering - -
Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping
5.9 etc. and removal of form for : -
Columns, Pillars, Piers, Abutments, Posts and Struts Sqm
Suspended floors, roofs, landings, balconies and Sqm
Lintels, beams, plinth beams, girders, bressumers and Sqm
Extra for additional height in centering, shuttering Sqm
where ever required with adequate bracing,
propping etc., including cost of de-shuttering and
decentering at all levels, over a height of 3.5
m, for every additional height of 1 metre or part
thereof (plan area to be measured).
Drilling suitable holes in reinforced or plain cement
concrete with power driven drill machine to a
minimum depth of 100mm upto 200mm in RCC
beams, lintels, columns and slabs to introduce steel
bars for sunshades/balconies including fixing the Nos
steel bars in position using epoxy resin anchor grout
of approved make but excluding the cost of
reinforcement, all complete as per direction of
Engineer-In-Charge. Beyond 12mm upto 20mm

Providing and fixing stainless steel ( Grade 304)
railing made of Hollow tubes, channels, plates etc.,
including welding, grinding, buffing, polishing and
making curvature (wherever required) and fitting the
same with necessary stainless steel nuts and bolts
complete, i/c fixing the railing with necessary
accessories & stainless steel dash fasteners ,
stainless steel bolts etc., of required size, on the top
of the floor or the side of waist slab with suitable
arrangement as per approval of Engineer-incharge,
(for payment purpose only weight of stainless steel
members shall be considered excluding fixing
accessories such as nuts, bolts, fasteners etc.).
13.16 6 mm cement plaster of mix : -
Treatment for Coving- Providing and applying
coving with PMM same as above mentioned &
let it cure by water for atleast 3-5 days
treatment treating vertical horizontal corner joint with a strip
coat Primer 200microns + HE400 1000microns
with a elongation tape sandwiched into HE400
Repairing Grinding existing surface-
Grinding with heavyduty grinder cementitious
substrate cautiously & All loose and de-bonded
concrete/ screed shall be removed and proper
repairing to be carried with polymer modified
Surface mortar.
preparation V-groove with existing cracks & fill these grooves
& tierod holes with PMM / Shrinkfree grout &
cure the same for atleast 3-4 days
use PU sealant to fill all visible cracks & let it dry
properly as per manufacturer's specs.
General Surface Preperation -

Type V), Polyurethane Coating System, Non-Tar

shall not emit any Volatile Organic Compounds
(VOC) or odor and will be totally environment
i) System Composition -
a) Damp Tolerant, Solvent Free Penetrating Primer : 0.20 mm Nominal WFT -
b) Solvent Free Polyurethane Coating : 1.50 mm Nominal DFT -
Liquid coating materials will be supplied with
original manufacturer's Material Test Certificate
(MTC) showing residual shelf life. Material will be
in original airtight, sealed drums without any
damage or leak. Only approved makes will be

iv) Application Procedure -
Strictly follow manufacturer's application
instructions and provide a copy in advance to
Engineer Incharge to ensure commpliance.
Application will involved clening surface
thoroughly with high pressure waterjet, drying
and application of primer and topcoat by paint
rollers. Ratio of the two components (Resin :
Activator) must be strictly ensured as per design.
Use pre-measured packaging as far as possible.
Cracks will be treated with elastomeric
polyurethane stripe coat prior to coating
Test coated area by ponding to detect any
leakage. Any spots found will be rectified by spot
repair after roughening. -
vi) Covering -
This type of product has very high mechanical
resistance to mechanical damage as well as UV
and Sunlight and protection by Screed etc is not
necessary. However the coated surface may be
covered with tile/stone etc for aesthetic purposes
and drain board/ geotextile/ soil/ grass.
22.7 Providing and laying integral cement based water
proofing treatment including preparation of surface as
required for treatment of roofs, balconies, terraces etc
consisting of following operations:

(a) Applying a slurry coat of neat cement using 2.75
kg/sqm of cement admixed with water proofing
compound conforming to IS. 2645 and approved by
Engineer-in-charge over the RCC slab including
adjoining walls upto 300 mm height including cleaning
the surface before treatment.
(b) Laying brick bats with mortar using broken
bricks/brick bats 25 mm to 115 mm size with 50% of
cement mortar 1:5 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand)
admixed with water proofing compound conforming to
IS : 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge over
20 mm thick layer of cement mortar of mix 1:5 (1
cement :5 coarse sand ) admixed with water proofing
compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by
Engineer-in-charge to required slope and treating
similarly the adjoining walls upto 300 mm height
including rounding of junctions of walls and slabs.
(c) After two days of proper curing applying a second
coat of cement slurry using 2.75 kg/ sqm of cement
admixed with water proofing compound conforming to
IS : 2645 and approved by Engineerin- charge.
(d) Finishing the surface with 20 mm thick jointless
cement mortar of mix 1:4 (1 cement :4 coarse sand)
admixed with water proofing compound conforming to
IS : 2645 and approved by Engineerin- charge
including laying glass fibre cloth of approved quality in
top layer of plaster and finally finishing the surface
with trowel with neat cement slurry and making
pattern of 300x300 mm square 3 mm deep.
(e) The whole terrace so finished shall be flooded with
water for a minimum period of two weeks for curing
and for final test.“All above operations to be done in
order and as directed and specified by the Engineer-in-
