Maintenance of Intercom Telecommunication Systems and Under Ground Cables at Kalpakkam and Anupuram during the year 2024 to 2025.

Attending of Intercom-telephone lines against faults which consists of following rectification methods such as Telephone instrument repairing, fixing of RJ-11 socket, rearrangement of telephone lines in MDF, rearrangement of telephone lines in Pillar/Junction box using required length of (0.5 mm dia) Jumper wire, cleaning of Krone modules, installation of new connection, shifting of intercom lines to another locations, removal of telephone instrument from site during disconnection as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. [Total operations = 264 days x 4 operations per day =1056 operations]

Note: 1. Rate shall be quoted for each operation for a net working time of 8 (Eight) hours per day. 2. Tenderer shall note that one operation involves one or more activities of description mentioned above for a net duration of Eight hours in a day. 3. Work shall be carried out as per detailed scope of work. 4. The Contractor shall engage Skilled technical personnel having Minimum ITI holder in Electronics/Electrical/Wireman trades or 3 years of experience in relevant telecommunication field.

Carrying out day to day Telecommunication related activities such as Attending telephone calls for receiving complaints and call back after completion of complaints, Maintaining of various registers like Telephone Complaint Register, New Telephone Connection Register, Instrument Disconnection Register, Instrument Local Shifting Register, etc., Updating registers data in system directory through personal computer and other related office works like generating report and taking out Soft copy as well as Hard copies as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. [Total operations = 264 days x 2 operation per day = 528 operations]

Note: 1. Rate shall be quoted for each operation for a net working time of 8 (Eight) hours per day. 2. Tenderer shall note that one operation involves one or more activities of description mentioned above for a net duration of Eight hours in a day. 3. Work shall be carried out as per detailed scope of work. 4. The Contractor shall engage Skilled technical personnel having Diploma / Degree holder in Electronics/Electrical Engineering with computer knowledge using MS Office for each operation.

Excavating the trenches, backfilling compacting in different types of soil to find the cable route and humepipe location etc., in Kalpakkam Township as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note : This item will be operated as on when required basis only.

Loading, transportation, unloading at site, installation, testing and commissioning one number of armored Telephone cable of following sizes direct in ground including excavation, sand cushioning, protective covering with chamber burnt/cement bricks on sides & top, refilling the trench and providing RCC route indicator etc as required in Kalpakkam and Anupuram Townships as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: 1. PIJF Telephone Cable will be issued free of cost by the department. 2. This item will be operated as on when required basis only.

Loading, transportation, unloading at site, installation, testing and commissioning of one number of armoured Telephone cable of following sizes in built-in-trenches, on walls, poles and through embedded pipes, including supply of GI spacer, clamps etc, and as per the detailed specification in Kalpakkam and Anupuram Townships as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: 1. PIJF Telephone Cable will be issued free of cost by the department. 2. This item will be operated as on when required basis only.
