Amount

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavation) / manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5m in width as well as 10sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth, lead upto 50m and lift upto 1.5m - all kinds of soil.

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead upto 50m and lift upto 1.5m.

Supplying and filling in plinth with river sand under floors, including watering, ramming consolidating and dressing complete.

Supplying and filling with red earth (excluding rock) including cost and conveyance to the work site and stacking to the departmental gauge , spreading in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth , watering and consolidation using 0.5 tonne roller , or wooden or steel rammers etc. complete for making play fields , running tracks and court yards.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - all work upto plinth level - 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size).

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - all work upto plith level - 1:3:6 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size).

Providing and fixing factory made P.V.C. door frame of size 50x 47 mm with a wall thickness of 5mm , made out of extruded 5 mm rigid PVC foam sheet, mitred at corners and joined with 2 nos , of 150mm long brackets of 15 x15 mm M.S. square tube, the vertical door frame profiles to be reinforced with 19 x19 mm M.S.square tube of 19 gauge , EPDM rubber gasket weather seal to be provided through out the frame . The door frame to be fixed to the wall using M.S.screws of 65 / 100 mm size, complete as per manufacturter's specification.

Providing and fixing factory made panel PVC door shutter consisting of frame made out of M.S.tubes of 19 gauge thickness and size of 19 mm x 19 mm for styles and 15 x15 mm for top & bottom rails. M.S.frame shall have a coat of steel primers of approved make and manufacture . M.S. frame covered with 5 mm thick heat moulded PVC 'C' channel of size 30mm thickness, 70 mm width out of which 50 mm shall be flat and 20 mm shall be tapered in 45 degree angle on both side forming styles and 5 mm thick, 95 mm wide PVC sheet out of which 75 mm shall be flat and 20 mm shall be tapered in 45 degree on the inner side to form top and bottom rail and 115 mm wide PVC sheet out of which 75 mm shall be flat and 20 mm shall be tapered on both sides to form lock rail. Top , bottom and lock rails shall be provided both side of the panel. 10mm (5 mm x 2) thick , 20 mm wide cross PVC sheet be provided as gap insert for top rail & bottom rail , panelling of 5 mm thick both side PVC sheet to be fitted in the M.S. frame welded / sealed to the styles & rails with 7 mm (5 mm + 2 mm) thick x 15 mm wide PVC sheet beading on inner side , and joined together with solvent cement adhesive. An additional 5 mm thick PVC strip of 20 mm width is to be stuck on the interior side of the 'C" Channel using PVC solvent adhesive etc. complete manufacturer's specification & drawing - 30mm thick pre laminated PVC door shutters.

Providing and fixing factory made uPVC white colour sliding glazed window upto 1.50m in height dimension comprising of uPVC multi - chambered frame with in-built roller track and sash extruded profiles duly reinforced with 1.60 + or - 0.2 mm thick galvanized mild steel section made from roll forming process of required length (shape & size according to uPVC profile), appropriate dimension of uPVC extruded glazing beads and uPVC extruded interlocks, EPDM gasket, wool pile , zinc alloy (white powder coated) touch locks with hook , zinc alloy body with single nylon rollers (weight bearing capacity to be 40 kg), G.I. fastners 100 x8 mm size for fixing frame to finished wall and necessary stainless steel screws etc. Profile of frame & sash shyall be mitred cut and fusion welded at all corners, including drilling of holes for fixing hardware's and drainage of water etc.After fixing frame the gap between frame and adjacent finished wall shall be filled with weather proof silicon sealent over backer rod of required size and of approved quality , all complete as per approved drawing.(Single / double glass panes , wire mesh and silicon sealent shall be paid separately) - Two track two panels sliding window made of (big series) frame 67 x 50 mm & sash 46 x 62 mm both having wall thickness of 2.3 + or - 0.2 mm and single glazing bead / double glazing bead of appropriate dimension.(Area of window above 1.75 sqm upto 2.50 sqm) - sliding window size 1.50x1.35 m.

Providing and fixing M.S.grills of required pattern in frames of windows etc with M.S. flats , square or round bars etc. including priming coat with approved steel primer all complete - Fixed to openings / wooden frames with rawl plugs screws etc.

Cement concrete flooring 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate) finished with a floating coat of neat cement, including cement slurry, but excluding the cost of nosing of steps etc .complete - 40mm thick with 20mm nominal size stone aggregate.

Cement plaster skirting upto 30 cm height , with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) , finished with a floating coat of neat cement - 18mm thick.

Providing and fixing glass strips in joints of terrazo / cement concrete floors - 40mm wide and 4mm thick

Providing and laying pressed clay tiles (as per approved pattern 18mm nominal thickness of approved size) on roofs jointed with cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) mixed with 2% integral water proofing compound , laid over a bed of 20mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) and finished neat complete.

Lime concrete terracing on roofs of required thickness laid to fall with 25mm nominal size brick aggregate and 50% lime mortar 1:2 (1 lime putty : 2 surkhi) rammed and finished with gur and belgiri treatment complete including rounding of junctions with Parapet wall complete.

12mm cement plaster of mix -1:4 ( 1 cement : 4 fine sand).

15mm cement plaster on the rough side of single or half brick wall of mix - 1:4 (1cement : 4 fine sand).

Finishing walls with premium acrylic smooth exterior paint with silicone additives of required shade - New work (two or more coats applied @1.43 ltr / 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20 kg / 10sqm).

Applying priming coat - with ready mixed red oxide zinc chromate primer of approved brand and manufacture on steel galvanised iron / steel works.

Finishing with epoxy paint (two or more coats) at all locations prepared and applied as per manufacturer's specifications including appropriate priming coat, preparation of surface , etc.complete - on steel work.

Wall painting with plastic emulsion paint - Royal of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade - two or more coats on new work.

Providing and laying 60mm thick factory made cement concrete interlocking paver block of M-30 grade made by block making machine with strong vibratory compaction and of approved size and design / shape laid in required colour and pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of course sand , filling the joints with coarse sand etc. all complte.

Providing and fixing 20mm thick , PVC shutter for doors, windows , cupboard etc., made of rigid PVC extruted multi chamber section of size 20mm x 200mm and outer edges of shutter framed with PVC channel section of size 24 mm x 59 mm , having interlocking facilities . The door frame of extruded PVC section of size 40mm x 48mm, having a maximum wall thickness 2.80mm +/-0.30mm . The corners and joints shall be mitrecut and welded. The rate shall include the cost of necessary hinges, handles and locking facilities wherever necessary.

Providing flanged joints to double flanged C.I./D.I. pipes and specials including necessary bolts, nuts, rubber insertion and testing of joints etc.,complete - 200mm diameter pipe.

Providing and laying Ductile Iron Double flanged pipes of class K9 (Electro steel /Sripipes /Jindal /Electrotherm) conforming to IS specification 8329/2000 and ISI marked suitable for flanged joints in good condition including transportation of D.I.pipe from production centre/company to the site at UT of Puducherry, lowering to the trenches(or fixing in over head tanks above ground level) laying to proper grade and alignment, testing of joints with required testing equipment etc.,complete all as per IS12288 and CPWD specification . (earth work and jointing of pipes with rubber insertion will be paid separately) -150mm dia.

Providing and laying Ductile Iron Double flanged pipes of class K9 (Electro steel/Sripipes/Jindal /Electrotherm) conforming to IS specification 8329/2000 and ISI marked suitable for flanged joints in good condition including transportation of D.I.pipe from production centre/company to the site at UT of Puducherry, lowering to the trenches(or fixing in over head tanks above ground level) laying to proper grade and alignment, testing of joints with required testing equipment etc.,complete all as per IS12288 and CPWD specification . (earth work and jointing of pipes with rubber insertion will be paid separately) -200mm dia.

Providing and erecting lightning arrestor with required earthing which includes the cost of 25mmX6mm thick copper plate copper spike to earth pits fitted over non conductor of electric current with an interval of 90 cm from ground level to top the structure,copper spike of standard size-2 nos of earth pit of 0.3m dia borehole lowered with 40mm dia G.I class B pipe 3.05 m deep (perforated and jointed with G.I funnel) with charcoal and salt covered with 0.45 m dia circular precast ring of 0.6m deep with circular precast cover slab etc.

Supplying and fixing of copper flat (25 x 3mm) for earthing arrangements including bolts and nuts etc.

Supplying and laying of 40mm dia. PVC pipe (Class 3 - PN 0.6 Mpa) conforming to IS 4985 : 2000 for inserting submersible cable from borewell to starter.

Providing and fixing 50 mm dia GI pipe (Class B) conforming to IS 1239 (Part 1:1990) with GI fittings including trenching, refilling etc., complete for UG cable duct.

Supply and installation of DI D/F Gate Valves (Soft seated ) Resilient seated soft sealing gate valves (Sluice valves ) (Make VAG,AVK,Fouress) with body bonnet of ductile iron of grade GGG 40, wedge fully rubber lined EPDM of good quality W720 , replaceable spindle nut, without gland packing and with 3 O-ring protection on the shaft and seals of NBR and the valves should be vacuum tight and 100% leak proof with face to face dimensions as per BSS 163-89/ISI 4846 - 2000/DIN3202 F4. All the valves should be Electrostatic powder coated both inside outside with pocket less straight thro body passage. All the valves shall be compatible for burried application without chambers, with pressure rating PN 10/16 - dia 150mm.
