Excavation in trenches by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) in soft / loose soil, not exc 1.5 m wide and exc 1.5 m but not exc 3.0 m depth or n exc 10 Sqm on plan and exc 1.5 m but not exc 3.0 m depth & getting out, for laying of cables, foundations of poles, struts, stays etc. and getting out including triming and forming bottom surface complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in post holes (or similar holes) in soft/loose soil, each n.exc 0.5 cum, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming moorum or broken rubble mixed with moorum in layers n.exc 25cm around foundation concrete as ordered, watering and removing surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m and making good surface, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Pre-cast cement concrete solid blocks 100 mm thick pre-cast (Factory made) cement concrete as kerb stone in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate with plain joints in edging and set in joint in cement mortar 1:4 and making good disturbed surface of ground complete all as specified and directed.

Extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30 cm inner girth in cement concrete using extra cement including forms, moulds mitred/stopped ends etc complete all as directed. Note :- Measurment shall be taken only for inner girth.

M & L for Walling of random rubble uncoursed well bonded, bedded & solidly hearted built in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Volume occupied by PCC bond stone shall not be measured against this item. Volume occupied by PCC bond stone shall be measured and under respective item here-in-after.

Extra over sand stone walling for hammer dressing to face stones and dressing of face beds & joints, as specified, of random rubble walling, uncoursed or brought upto courses with maximum depression on face from straight edge held against the dressed surface not exc 20mm complete all as specified and directed.

S & F Galvanised. 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacings and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including, securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc. complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Each line of wire to be measured.

Fixing only chain link fencing including line wires, any mesh, size and type to any type of standards, rails, straining bolts, etc. including provission of binding wire complete all as specified and directed. (c) Two spare compartment. Notes:- (a) All armoured cables shall enter through bottom of the feeder pillar duly glanded and socketed and connected to MCCB/cable terminal. Cost of glanding socketing etc are deemed to be included in the unit rate of feeder pillar. (b) All the out going cable shall be terminated in bakellite cable connector and shall be duly glanded and socketed.
