Construction of 0.421 MLD Sewage Treatment Plant based on Bio-digester and Rootzone Technology, including evolving of hydraulic & structural designs & drawings, planning, testing and commissioning of treatment facility. The Sewage Treatment Plant should be capable of treating domestic raw sewage having influent characteristics of BOD =350 mg/litre & suspended Solids =650 mg/litre and the characteristics of treated /disposable effluent should comply with the standards as per the norms of H.P. State Pollution Control Board i.e. PH = 6.5- 9, BOD ≤ 10 mg/litre, COD ≤ 50 mg/litre, TSS ≤ 20 mg /litre, Faecal Coliform (MPN /1000 ml) <100, N - Total N ≤ 10 mg/litre, NH4 - N ≤ 5 mg/litre. The scope of work includes construction of Inlet Chamber (1 Nos.), Screen Channel (02 Nos), Grit Channel (2 Nos.) Bio-digester System (2 Nos), Aerobic System based on attached growth process with mechanical means of air diffusion (with kd value note greater than 0.06 and MCRT in the range of 30 to 50 days), Sludge Drying Beds (considering constancy 1.5%), Constructed Wetland (Rootzone System) for low temperature, Multi Media Filter for algae control and removal, bacterial deactivation system by means of Calcium Hypochlorite with minimum 20 min HRT, Interconnectivity pipe for STP & effluent disposal, STP boundary in the shape of fencing panel, facility gate, facility internal pathways for mobilization, safety railings and staircase, Plant Building/Chowkidhar Room, framed structure with plinth area 80.5 sqm, laboratory equipment’s for wet chemistry based analyses of wastewater, all necessary Electro - Mechanic Equipment for aerobic system, electrication and lightining to all facility area, Successful Testing, commissioning and trail runs for the period of three months, site developments, gardening and landscaping with in all leads and lifts complete in all respect as per the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge (as per chapter No. vi(a), vi(b), vi (c). 3 Months of successful trial run as per the provisions of Manual on Sewerage & Sewage Treatment published by CPHEEO Manual (Latest edition).
