Labour charges to carry out ohmic resistance test and recording the resistance value of lightning protection system in presence of MES/ Air force representative complete with air termination but without earth connections by dividing the system into convenient section at testing point by suitable joint by using kelvin bridge or other suitable portable precision testing set all as per IS -2309 of 1969. NOTE:- Wornout missing nuts, bolts, washers, rivets etc shall be replaced and roof/down conductors shall be straightened. The result should be recorded in the result sheet and on building at place directd by Engineer-in-chg.Two seprate team should be used for recording the test result and the Test result should be submitted to the AGE E/M Office on daily basis.Testing equipment & ladder has to be arranged by the contractor on his own. The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of this provision.

NOTE: - (i) The result should be recorded in the result sheet and on building at place directd by Engineer-in-charge. M&L for plate earthing complete with galvanised mild steel plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically (in earth pit not less than 2.25 m below normal ground level) with the top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level, the earth electrode surrounded by adequate quantity of charcoal dust and salt to a packed thickness of 15 cm on all sides and incl GI strip 32x5 mm bolted (with GI nuts, bolts & check nuts) and riveted to earth plate at one end and connected to metallic bodies of equipments etc at the other end , earth strip encased in and including 40 mm bore GI light grade pipe with all fittings from top of electrode to body of equipment fixed with and including 25 x 4 mm flat iron clamps, bolts, nuts and washer and also including providing watering pipe 20mm bore GI pipe medium grade from bottom of earth pit to top of electrode complete with wire mesh, funnel and earth pit in PCC 1:2:4 type B-O using 12 mm graded crushed stone aggregate and CI cover 10 mm thick hinged to CI frame; including taking out old earthing, testing complete all specified and shown in electrical plate No -3 of SSR Pt-I. Note :- (a) Rates for Excavation and earthwork in any type of soil/ strata, testing on completion, GI strip 32x5 mm and 40 mm dia protection pipe upto 7.5 mtr from earth plate is deemed to be included in rate quoted. (b) On testing, after completion, if the earth resistance ess than 5 ohms is not obtained, earthing will be will be redone/rejuvenated at no extra cost till the desired earth resistance is obtained.

M&L for earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 600mm X 600mm X 3 mm thick, burried directly in ground (Earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected to copper strip 20x3 mm as earth lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of copper or brass connected to earth test point including watering pipe 20mm bore GI pipe medium grade from bottom of earth pit to top of electrode complete with wire mesh, funnel, necessary earth work excavation in any type of soil, PCC chamber in 1:3:6 type C1 and having MS frame and CI cover complete all as shown in electrical plate No 3 and all as specified and or indicated including taking out old earthing, testing on completion all as specified and as directed. NOTE :- (a) Rates for Excavation and earthwork in any type of soil/strata, testing on completion, Copper strip 20x3 mm and 40 mm dia protection pipe upto 7.5 mtr from earth plate is deemed to be included in rate quoted. (b) On testing, after completion, if the earth resistance ess than 5 ohms is not obtained, earthing will be will be redone/rejuvenated at no extra cost till the desired earth resistance is obtained.

S&F in repairs funnel made out of GI / mild steel sheet 3mm thick in conical shape, dia of the funnel at bottom shall be 20mm and at top 75mm, welded on GI pipe for watering the earth including taking out existing funnel complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repairs Air termination single pointed aluminium rod not less than 12mm dia and 300mm long end threaded including taking out old rod complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in replacement Air termination single pointed Copper rod not less than 12mm dia and 300mm long end threaded including taking out old rod complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repairs Post insulator epoxy LV type suitable for aluminium/ GI strip 25 x 4 mm lightening conductor fixed on wall/roof/pole including screw, and taking out existing insulators complete all as specified and as directed. S&F in repair Post insulator cetrally threaded epoxy LV type suitable for holding threaded aluminium/ copper AT rod 12 mm dia fixed on stand post including screw complete all as specified and as directed. Make: BHEL/ Jayshree/ WS Insulators/ Southern Insulators/ MEI/ Modern Insulators

Taking down existing roof / down/ earth continuity conductor/ static discharge strips of any type and any description/ size from wall/roof/floor and refixing the same with post insulator epoxy LV type at maximum 0.5 M span including brass nut , bolts, washers etc. and making good to the disturbed surfaces to match the existing complete all as specified and directed at site. Note:- Insulators/PVC pipes shall be measured and paid separately.

M&L for fixing conductor fixed to wall on batten/porcelain/epoxy insulators or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc.connected upto test terminal point etc complete including fixing with saddles and screws for fixing porcelain/ epoxy insulators/ conduit/ pipe, all as specified and directed for the following type of conductors :- Note:- Insulators/ conduit/ pipe shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate items.

Aluminium strip of size 25 x 4 mm

Copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm

Galvanised iron strip of size 25x4 mm

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for taking out pipe / cables/ earthing and earth lead etc and getting out in any strata of soil complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer - in - Charge

All as per item No 12 here in before but depth exceeding 1.5m and not exceeding 3 metres

Returning, filling in and including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n. exc. 25 cm each in any type of soil all as specified and directed.

Removal of excavated material to a distance not exc 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 metre above the starting point all as specified and directed.

Supply and lay in trenches / fixed to walls PVC super quality pipe not less than 32 mm dia class 3 grade for protection of earth strip complete fixing with suitable clamps at 0.5 M span all as specified and as directed. (Make Finolex or equivalant) NOTE:- Rates for flat iron clamps, bolts, nuts and washer etc are deemed to be included in rate quoted.

Supply and fix in repair readymade outdoor type heavy duty polymer earth pit chamber box of weight not less than 1.8 kg having inner size of 450mm X 450mm X 300mm with provision of earthing strip/ GI pipe entry glands and cover with lock arrangement including taking out old masontry/PCC chamber complete all as specified and directed. Make: Allied power solution/ True power earthings pvt ltd/ S G power products Pvt ltd Note:- The polymer chamber supplied by the contractor shall be fully complaint to BS EN 62305-3 and tested to EC 62561-5 Heavy duty classification.

Material and labour for painting of Steel tubular LT poles of any size with one coats of aluminium paint including painting to cross arms and clamps etc after necessary preparation of surfaces by scrubbing and cleaning with wire brush etc. complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) The amount against Schedule of Credit mentioned in tender document shall be deducted from the total amount quoted against Sch 'A' while deriving the Contarct Sum for Acceptance.
