Periodical inspection of water based fire protection system including fire water pumping system and conducting mock drill within the Hospital premises of Tamralipta Government Medical College and Hospital at Tamluk and also to ascertain operational

Deputation of Skilled Manpower atleast twice a month for intensive checking of all the pumps installed for firefighting system including sequential operation of those pumps to check the performance of each pumps. The job includes checking of all valves and other instruments installed inside pump house and making necessary nominal rectifications / repair / replacement viz, gland packings, nut, bolts and washers, gaskets etc, if required to ensure proper functionality of the fire pumps. Storage of Diesel to be checked and refilling to be done whenever necessary to ensure smooth operation of Diesel Engine driven pump during emergency. Mock Test for fire pumps both in AUTO & MANUAL operations to be conducted during the visit in every 15 days and report of the test to be submitted to PWD for record. Video Photography of mock drill and diesel refilling to be submitted to PWD engineer for record purpose. i)All Fire Pumps in all fire pump houses at Tamralipta Goverment Medical College and Hospital---1 Job.

Inspection of entire hydrant network at least once in a month and submit report to PWD for any leakage or damage of hydrant / landing valves or any other type of valves and instruments (water pipe lines etc.) for taking further course of action to ensure proper functionality of the installed fire protection system. The scope also includes minor repair / rectification viz change of gland packings, nuts bolts and washers, gaskets etc of all type of valves and other instrument installed such as replacement of worn out or damaged gasket etc Major rectification such as replacement of damaged hand wheel, flanges, perforated pipes, pipe supports, valve seat rings etc. to be done on chargeable basis with prior intimation to PWD. During inspection of water network, the vendor shall drain out water from risers and sprinkler lines and recharge it with set pressure after proper flushing on quarterly basis. Inlet valves of hydrant risers to be kept close after completion of flushing and recharging of water to avoid any accidental discharge of water. The agency will held sole responsible if the Fire Hydrant Systems will not work in demand of emergency due to any leakage or pilferage of water from any parts of the fire hydrant system which has not brought into the knowledge of PWD by the working agency earlier. i) Whole Fire Hydrant and Sprinkler System at Tamralipta Goverment Medical College and Hospital--1 Job
