Insertion of temporary girder in place of Each formation involving dismantling of track, removal of ballast and neatly stacking for future use, excavation & installation of CC crib or wooden crib at both ends as per approved design in one or more traffic blocks, excavation for creating space for insertion of girder as required, placement of girder by contractor's Crane, tools & plants, filling of earth/sand filled bags at different stages as required, linking of track and connecting with the approaches, ballasting, boxing and packing approach sleepers to make track fit for 20 kmph to the satisfaction of Engineer in-charge. The charges for wooden sleepers/blocks required for matting and bearing as per approved design shall be paid extra as per relevant item. 4. In case bridge timber / channel sleepers are required to be laid on girder, the same shall be paid separately under relevant item. 5. If earth is to be brought by contractor from outside, the same will be paid separately 6. The contractor has to keep cranes, trailers, etc., in good working condition and should be in readiness before grant of block. 7. The contractor has to bring cranes at site of work minimum one day in advance and cranes are to be checked for their lifting capacity one day prior to block 8. The work should be carried out under traffic block and power block where applicable. Due to any reasons if traffic block is not granted, no extra payment will be paid. The contractor has to keep his labour, machinery, equipment's etc at the site till the completion of work and as per the instruction of Engineer in charge 9. The contractors are advised to inspect the site for feasibility of deployment of machinery before quoting the rates. 10. Minimum equipment required shall be a). Crawler mounted hydraulic excavator of minimum 200 hp with bucket capacity 2.5 cum, and stone breaker b). Crane of suitable capacity as per requirement at site c. Tripper/ lorry d) gas cutting machine with man power 11. In case blasting is required at site during excavation, the same shall be paid separately under relevant item.

Dismantling of 20.4m RH girder at site MT including loading of all released structural elements, fittings and all loose materials in truck/trailer and re-assembling of 20.4m RH girder including unloading and leading all structural elements within 1 km lead, bolting, riveting or welding as per approved drawing or as directed by Engineer-in- charge. Rate shall include cost of labour, material, tools and plants.
