Area cleaning in and around the site by cleaning the bushes, debris, fallen trees, waste materials, garbages etc., collecting, conveying and disposing the same at places as shown by the department with a lead of 100 metres all complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge

Collection, supplying and stacking good quality Red earth without stones, gravel etc., and stacking for premeasurement at places as shown by Engineer for taking pre measurements including spreading the same at places shown with a lead upto 100metres and filling in pits etc., complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Collection, supplying and stacking of Decomposed dry farmyard manure without undesirable materials, stacking the same at places as shown by Engineer for taking pre measurements including spreading the same at places shown with a lead upto 100metres and filling in pits etc., complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Maintenance of lawns, flower beds, hedges, trees etc., in garden area by watering at regular intervals, cutting and trimming hedges, and the unwanted growth of grasses as and when required including running lawn mover, removing weeds, collecting the cut grass, fallen leaves of trees and disposing the same at dumping yards shown by the department, watering the trees inside the garden area complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: 1. The rate shall include the cost of hire charges of lorry and labour for transporting of cut grass, leaves etc., to the dumping yard. 2. The rate shall also include cost of all tools, plants, water delivery hose required for gardening etc. 3. The rate quoted shall be per Sq.m. area maintained per month. The area not maintained by contractor is deducted then and there. 4. Contractor has to make his own arrangement for Lawn Movers. If departmental lawn movers is available it will be provided by department on chargeable basis. 5. If the Plant/Lawn of Area become dead due to negligence of the contractor, the cost incured for developing the plants/lawn will be deducted from the contractor bill. 6. If lawn mover is not used, then recovery at the rate of 20 Paise / Sq.m. will be levied as penalty from RA Bill. 7. The contractor shall engage minimum 1 person for 1500 sq. m / day throughout the month as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Failure to employ the above minimum numbers of labour will attract penal clause as per additional special condition of contract attached with the tender for every default of labour. 8. The contractor shall supply the PPE to the garden labour and they should wear the PPE during their working hours.

Planting the plants / saplings in required site taken from nursery, including formation of pits, spreading & filling of red earth and farm yard manure to an average thickness of 50mm, conveyance from nursery, planting and initial watering all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: The rate shall excluding the cost of red earth and farm yard manure used for planting operation which will be paid under relevant item.

Supplying and planting plants / saplings of good quality & healthy appearance with blooming nature etc., including excavation, transportation, planting and initial watering all as per standard practice and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Conveying and disposing the unwanted surplus excavated earth & debris, boulders and spoil by mechanical means and depositing at places inside DAE installation identified as Dumping yard as per requirement with a lead specified below including loading, unloading, breaking clods, levelling all complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: 1) The rates in respect of this Item are applicable for the NET Quantities arrived at after making deductions for voids @ 20% in respect of soil, 30% inrespect of debris and dried palm leaves and @ 50% in respect of leaves branches of trees etc from the corresponding Stack / Truck measurements. 2) The earth shall be dumped well inside the Dumping yard and not over approach pathway road.

Lead charges for lead Exceeding 5 kilometre but not exceeding 6 kilometre.

Levelling, bull-dozing the heeped/dumped loosened earth/debris etc. by hiring JCB/Bull-dozer etc., including labour if any required as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Trimming road side tree branches, replanting of fallen trees / branches including collecting and disposing the fallen trees / branches at places shown by department all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: In IGCAR Plant site fallen trees shall be disposed to the disposal yard as identified by the Engineer-in-Charge

Collection, supply and spraying of pesticides / fungicides / growth regulators in the lawn area and hedges by sprayer etc., including cost of collection, supply and spraying of pesticides / fungicides /growth regulators etc., all as per specification. Note: The pesticides / fungicides / growth regulators shall be used at the rate of 0.06 ml/sq.m. and as directed by the manufacturer specification.

Supply and spreading of Fertilizer (urea), neem cake including cost of fertilizer and neem cake etc., all as per specification for Orchard plants / trees at the rate of 0.01kg/Sqm for fertilizer and 0.005kg/Sqm of neem cake, all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and spreading of Vermicompost including cost etc. all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying the following sizes PVC water supply line with 'Finolex / Varun / Truebore' or approved equivalent make PVC pipes suitable for 6 kg/sq.cm pressure and specials conforming & marked to IS:4985 including jointing with PVC jointing compound, laying and fixing the pipes in the excavated trenches, cost of all types of specials such as tees, reducers, coupler, reducing bushes, threaded adaptor, elbow, tail pieces, caps etc., and testing the line as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Operation of Garden water supply pumps located in different areas Inside IGCAR Complex including operating, regulation valves and different sector of garden network, monitoring water level in the wells to avoid dry run of motor and cleaning the pumps, pump room, etc., complete all and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: The Contractor has to engage minimum of 1 operator in general shift timing 9.00 to 17.30 hours every day throughout the year excluding Sundays and holidays. If any shortfall found during the contract period, he will be penalised at the rate of 1 Each/operator/day and shall be deducted from the RA bills.

Garden water line Burst / Breakage: Attending the following works, earthwork excavation to ascertain the type of leak including extra length and width of excavation required as per site condition to facilitate removal of damaged / broken pipes, specials and its rectification, dewatering, removing the slush from the trenches , conveying of the earth and slush away from the trenches to prevent over burden for th trench, conveyance of pipes, specials and other accessories, de water pumps, suction and delievery lines to the work site and installation of de water pumps and suction delievery lines etc., cutting the burst/ broken pipes and removing the pipe from the mains and re-installing the new pipes, jointing and testing thepipelines and refilling the excavated trenches into the original condition etc., as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: Payment shall be made based on the length of the pipes and specials replaced and installaed at the site under relevant item.

Supplying and spreading of river pebbles (All colours) of various sizes ranges from 20mm to 30mm as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Cutting and removing trees including cutting of trunks and removing the roots and stacking of serviceable materials, disposal of unserviceable materials including filling the pits and depressions complete for trees of girth above 1.0m, including leveling complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Cutting and removing dry leaves, stem, flower, fruits etc., or petiole in Palmeriya trees/palm trees and foxtail palm trees including labour charge, cutting removing the leaves, stem or petiole and stacking and disposal of unserviceable materials including depositing at places inside DAE installation identified as Dumping yard as per requirement with a lead specified below including loading, unloading, breaking clods, levelling all complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Providing and fixing following dia PVC ball valve pasting/thread type including the cost of labour charges, pasting PVC solution etc., as directed by the Engineer.

Renovation of lawn area, wherever damaged etc., to ensure better continuity of the landscape feature, including digging and leveling the surface of the earth upto 150mm including area cleaning, collection, supply and planting of Korean grass of good quality including conveyance, cost of korean grass and plants etc., all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
