EXTERNAL ELECTRICAL SUPPLY 132 KV SYSTEM AND 132/11 KV SYSTEM AT MSDS Power Transformer step down, outdoor type of capacity 8.0 MVA (8000KVA) 132 KV/11 KV, 3 phase, 50cycles AC with On Load Tap Changing arrangements with remote control panel operation) on 132 KV sides to vary secondary voltage from +5% to (-) 15% in steps of 1.25% (16 steps/17 Position), impedance 8.35% at normal / common tap No 7 including suitable marshalling box and HV terminals 3 Nos outdoor bare bushings with sockets and LV terminals connectors to connect the transformer with HT XLPE Power cable of size 300 sqmm x 3 core with copper conductor and LV additional Neutral with one no solid porcelain type out door bushings with sockets on the transformer lid for earthing purpose complete in all respects with standard accessories and fittings conforming to IS-2026 primary side delta and secondary side star. (b) Charcoal (small pieces)-250Kg, Salt (Crystal)-250 Kg, Magnesium suplhate (crystal) -100 Kg. (c) Copper strip shall be brazed with copper plate electrode. (d) Alternate layers of charcoal and salts should be laid in the earth pit on the top of copper plate at least 5 layers should be laid. (e) After laying the 5 alternate layers of charcoal and salt a two inch layer of magnesium sulphate to be laid. (f) The chemical salt and magnesium suplhate should not be mixed, but are to be laid in layers only. (g) Copper strip is to be extended inside the equipment and power room it should routed in the side wall of the underground ducts fixed with creamics / porcelain spacers. (h) Contractor shall pour sufficient water in earth pit before and after doing earthing. (j) 25mm dia GI pipe suitable length to reach just about copper plate fitted with funnel meshed along with cap and running water tap to be provided for keeping the soil wet.

Supply erect, test and commissioning of APFC panel of capacity 300 KVAR, 440 volt, 50 HZ, AC, detuned dynamic type the make of panel of capacitor bank as recommended by manufacture only with the following details:- Make : L&T / ABB POWER PRODUCT POWER PRODUCT / SEIMENS / SCHNIEDER (a) The 300 KVAR, at 440 volt, 3 phase, 50 Hz, AC grade AC automatic power factor Correction Panel shall be having a 14% detuning series Reactor, along with capacitors of 367 KVAR at 525 volt to give 300 KVAR at 440 volt, voltage rating in suitable KVAR rating to form a resonating circuit on 134 Hz. (b) Output resolution: Yhe dynamic detuned APFC panel should have output resolution of 10 KVAR at 440 volt, 50 Hz. Banking on the panel shall be such that the net compensation shall be 10 KVARx1+20 KVARx2+50 KVARx5. (c) Detuning reactors: Detuning reactors shall be tuned to a frequency of 134 Hz, enabling it to suppress Harmonics of the order of 3rd and 5th above. Ratings up to 15 KVAR shall be copper wound with lug termination whereas rating 20 KVAR and above shall be made of copper wound windings terminated on to a copper busbar of suitable ratings. These shall be incorporated to a temperature limiting device for thermal protection. Linearity of the series Reactor must be 0.95 XL for current upto 1.73 XII. (d) Capacitor: Internally Delta connected 3 phase capacitor units having rated voltage of 525 volt, 50 Hz AC should be used in series with the reactors to form a detuned bank to deliver required output and the tuning frequency. The capacitor should confirm the standards of IS: 13340/IEC 60831. These shall be triple concentric wound type with a wave cut film & vacuum impregnated with moisture free Nitrogen gas. The capacitor shall be UL approved.
(e) Thyristor switching modules: The solid state switching module complete with thyristor and other necessary components to have the capability of switching as fast as 20 ms and switching at “Zero crossing” of the current. The module should be made up to 2200 V PIV (Peak Inverse Voltage) devices to ensure reliable operation over time. (f) Suitable capacity of MCCB for incomer of capacitor panel – 01 No Make: Legrand/EPCOS/GE Energy/Visa Power/ABB Power Products.
