DIESEL ENGINE DRIVEN PUMP OVERHAULING AND COMMISONNING AT NEW LOCATION.

Dismantling diesel engine pump, leaving engine as it is for the Haj Committee's dispopsal as scrap and taking pump for Overhauling.

Overhauling of extisting engine driven pump Model HBD 5" x 6" -3 stage. This pump has to be converted to a multistage multioutlet pump as atandby for both Sprinkler / Hydrant Low Pressure and Hydrant High Pressure application. The pump after overhauling should be a multistage multioutlet pump having first outlet after 3 stage and second outlet after 4 stages. The capacity of the pump after overhauling will be 2850 LPM at 70 Mtrs. Low pressure and 100 Mtrs. High Pressure. Following components will require to be replaced :

Diesel Engine Greaves make Model 4G11T devoloping 112BHP at 1800RPM suitable for continous fire duty operation 12V start equivalent KOEL make Engine having the same horsepower and RPM will also be accepted.

Fuel tank of suitable capacity for continous 8 hours operation of Diesel Engine.

Rates for overhauling and retrofitting the pump on new baseplate with new engine and fitting the same back again at site as a complete set at new location finalished by HAJ Committee. Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Vertical Inline Stainless steel Jockey Pumps having Cast Iron Suction & Discharge Casing and Motor Stool. Wet End should be in complete stainless steel. The pump should be driven by suitable capacity of vertical fiange electric motor.

Vertical Inline Jockey Pump for Sprinkler and Low Pressure Hydrant - capacity - 180 LPM at 70 Mtrs. Head. Driven by 4Kw (5.5HP), 2900RPM Vertical Flange Motor. Make of Pump and Motor should be either HBD / KSB / Grundfoss.

Vertical Inline Jockey Pump for High Pressure Hydrant - Capacity - 180 LPM at 100 Mtrs. Head. driven by 5.5Kw (7.5HP), 2900RPM Vertical Flange Motor. Make of Pump and Motor should be either HBD / KSB / Grundfoss.

NOTE:- After overhauled pumps with new control panel are installed and the systems are set on proper auto mode any leakage or defects are observed in the hydrant and sprinkler ring main and vertical risers the same will have to be rectified by the contractor that is awarded the project. Rectification of these defects will be at an extra cost that will be mutually decided between HAJ Committee and the contractor. Provision of proper access to rectify these defects will be provided by the HAJ Committee. A15All civil work such as foundations etc is not in the scope of this tender and the same will be the responsibility of HAJ Committee.
