Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m depth and getting out in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Returning filling in trenches including spreading leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick all complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Removing of excavated material not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point all complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for spread fine river sand in trenches complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. NOTE: For measurement purpose, punned down thickness shall only be taken.

M&L for laying brick sub class 'B' old size burnt bricks for cable protection of size 230mmx115mmx 75mm complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply & laying tubes ' light grade' galvanised, with all fittings, fixed complete to walls, poles, ceilings or laid in floors/ trenches/ road crossing for protection of cables of size 40 mm dia bore including taking down corroded GI tubing complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make : Bansal/Tata/Jindal/Prakash or equivalent approved make.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode of size 600x600x6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below the normal ground level) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level connected to galvanised earth lead wire 4 mm dia as earth lead connectd by means of bolts, nuts, washers and check nuts all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-I, including testing on completion complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. NOTE:- (i) The unit rate shall also included for earth work in hard/ dense soil, PCC (1:3:6) type C1, CI cover 10 mm thick, funnel with GI watering pipe 20mm dia Medium grade, GI protection pipe light grade 15mm dia and wire mesh complete in addition to item No 1 (a) to (e) of preamble (notes) under sub heading earthing, specified on Sl Page No 389 of MES SSR Part-II. (ii) Earthing lead and GI protection pipe beyond 7.5m will be measured and paid separately. (iii) Test points shall be made of GI strip 32x6 mm bridge type mounted on insulators, where ever applicable
